Red, White & Blue Blog Hop

Happy Saturday!
Welcome to the Red, White & Blue Blog Hop!

I am so happy that you could join us on this hop!
If you arrived here from Meagan @ Thoughts of Scrapbooking, you are in the right spot.
If you just happened to stumble across the hop today on my blog and would like to start at the beginning, then just hop on over and see Joy at Joy's Life.

For my project, I decided to make a little gift and card to give to someone on the 4th of July.

Here is the card:

I used some little fireworks from the Silhouette store and popped up the middle one with some foam adhesive to add a little dimension. I embossed my white layer that is on my card base with my swiss dots embossing folder.
Before I embossed though, I stamped my sentiment.
My sentiment came from the Yummy Pun Stamp Set from Joy's Life Stamps.

Here is the inside of the card:

For my greeting inside, I used sentiments from the
Everyday Occasions as well as the Holiday Occasions stamp sets from Joy's Life Stamps.

Here is the gift that goes along with the card:

My box also came from the Silhouette online store and I added some fun noise makers

Here is a picture of the card and gift together:

Sweet Summertime Wishes, Watermelon Style!

For my mini album blog hop post, please click HERE

Happy Friday!
Today I get to show you another
project using those fabulous stamps from Joy's Life!

This week the Design Team has been focusing on projects that feature Watermelon!
Yum! I don't know about you but Watermelon screams summer to me!
I love sitting on my back deck in the evenings and enjoying a piece of nice cold watermelon!
Ok, onto my project cause now I am getting hungry lol!

I found my card shape as well as that adorable bear eating the watermelon in the silhouette store (design id #'s below). To accent the bow on my bear, I added a little bit of stickles. I also added some glossy accents to the watermelon seeds and her little nose. I then popped her up off of the card with some foam adhesive to give my card a little dimension.
I think this little card is perfect to send to someone to let them know that you are thinking of them.

I got this adorable sentiment from the
Sweet Popsicle Puns stamp set from

Hi everyone!
Happy Wednesday!

Before I show you my mini album, I would like to say Thank You to
for sponsoring this hop with 3 files to one lucky winner!
You can find out more info on how to be in the running for that prize at Mary's blog

Ok, onto my mini album:
*Warning: Very Photo Heavy*

I decided to make an envelope mini based on the tutorial from Kathy Orta that can be found HERE
I made my mini album using notecards and note card envelopes so mine is a little smaller than the one seen in Kathy's video but I just adjusted the measurements to fit my needs.

Here is my mini:
(you can click on the photos to enlarge)
I decided to make my mini into a little album that will be used to hold little mementos and photos of me and my hubby through the years. For the cover, I added some lace and some feather trim to the edge of the album. The flower was made by me using some ribbon and pearls with a few pearl sprays peeking out from behind the flower. I used some glossy accents on the Eiffel tower and on the little crown to give it a little more dimension. All of my patterned papers are from the Blush 6x6 paper pad by My Mind's Eye. My Kraft and Cream card stocks are from Recollections and my Pink card stock is Pink Pirouette from SU!

Inside cover and page 1:
On the inside front cover, I made a mini waterfall to hold some small photos.
You can find the tutorial on how to make a waterfall feature for your mini albums on
My Sister's Scrapper You Tube Video HERE.
My mini album is not embellished a lot right now. I plan on embellishing more as pictures are added to the album.

Hello and Happy Tuesday!

For my card, I decided to go with this cute little boot file that I found in the Silhouette Online Store:

I simply cut out my card base and then adhered my patterned paper layer.
For my sentiment, I simply stamped it onto some scrap cardstock and then trimmed it and cut the edge to give it a banner shape.

I hope you will head over to the
and take a peek at the awesome inspiration from my amazing design team sisters as well as entering the challenge yourself :)

Hi there!
Happy Tuesday!
Are you guys ready for another great challenge that starts today at

Challenge #58---Bring On The Sunshine!

When I hear "Sunshine", I automatically think of the beach.
There is nothing quite like going to the beach on a warm summer day & soaking up some sun.
Although I could do without the mess of the sand lol!

Here is the card that I created for the challenge:

For my hoarded supplies, I used 2 different stamp sets that were purchased about a year and a half ago and used them for the very first time on this card.

I hope you will stop by the Use It Tuesday blog and join in on the challenge!

Tigger Wobble

Hi everyone!
Happy Saturday!
I hope your weekend is off to a fabulous start!

Today I get to show you another
fun little card using those awesome Action Wobbles!

I don't know about you, but I adore Winnie The Pooh and all of his friends :)
When I was going through my cricut cartridges, I came across Tigger and thought how fun he would be on a wobble!

I cut Tigger out of the Pooh & Friends Cricut Cartridge at 5" and added a wobble to him.
I had to trim the wobble just a slight bit to accommodate the openings in his arms, but it was simple to do and didn't affect the wobble action at all.
I kept my card pretty simple and just added a little a fun little border across the bottom and added a few little buttons with some floss knots to the upper left hand side of my card.

Ready to "bounce"

"Bouncy, flouncy, trouncy, pouncy, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun....
The wonderful thing about Tiggers is I'm the only one"
~Tigger

I love how Action Wobbles bring my card to life!

Craftwork Cards Blog Hop!

Hi there!
Welcome to the Craftwork Cards Blog Co-Blog Hop!
The USA & UK designers have got some wonderful inspiration for you
using the new Wreath line from Craftwork Cards.

I got to play with the Vintage Chic Wreath Kit:

For my project, I decided to make the wreaths into some little picture frames.

I simply made the wreaths as instructed in the kit, then used some adhesive and attached photos of my children behind each one. I added some Polka Dots Sugar Frosting CANDi to the centers of my flowers and used some glimmer mist to add a little sparkle to them as well.

Here is a picture of the wreaths hanging up in my entry way:

I love all the pastel colors mixed with the shades of browns on the flowers in this kit!

You can get all these kits at
Scrapbook.com
Each of the designer's are also giving away a wreath
to one lucky person who comment on the day they post so make sure
