Eek!! A Simple Halloween Card.

Happy Wednesday!
I hope your day is off to a great start so far!

Today I am back with a Halloween card that shows some
 awesome stamps and dies from

For my card, I decided to use the Witch Brew Stamp set and their coordinating dies. I stamped and colored my images, die cut them out and adhered them onto a rectangle cut from one of the Stitched Rounded Rectangles. I popped that up with some foam tape onto my plaid cardstock. I added a black spiderweb border and some purple and white twine to finish off my card. Even though it is kinda simple, I think it turned out really cute.

Shopping Our Stash #271

Hey everyone and happy Tuesday!!
It's time for a new challenge over at

This week challenge #271 is....
Apple for Teacher
(use fruits/veggies on your project or make a teacher appreciation card)

Here is the project that I created for this challenge:

I recently purchased this cute little stamp set from the new Lawn Fawn release and this challenge was the perfect time for me to pull it out and use it. After I had my apples colored, I used a square bracket die to cut it out. I embossed a strip of red cardstock with my swiss dots embossing folder. I then added some white strips to the side that I had punched with a border punch. I added some ribbon and adhered my panel to a Kraft card base. I popped my image and sentiment both up with some foam tape for some more dimension.

Neglected items from my stash that I used on my card are:
---Stitched Oval Die---
---Doily Lace Border Punch---
---Nesting Squares Dies (bought over 6+ months ago and never used until now)---
---Swiss Dots Embossing Folder---

Be sure to head over to the Shopping Our Stash Challenge Blog to see what my design team sisters created. I hope you will decide to make a project and join us, I would love to see what you create!

Happy Haunting Treat Box

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous Friday!

I wanted to pop in real quick and share a project that I created for the current challenge over at

I decided to make a little treat box for the challenge.

I used the Scalloped Treat Box from Lawn Fawn and heat embossed my greeting from the Booyah stamp set onto the upper panel. I used a circle die cut to create my moon, as well as my geometric shape, and used some distress inks to color it and some water droplets for dimension on my moon. I colored my witch hat with some zig clean color real brush markers for a watercolor effect and popped my witchy ghost and the speech bubble up with some foam tape. I finished off my little box with some purple star confetti. The stars can count as a geometric shape too now that I think of it lol!

I will also be entering this into the challenge over at

Merry Christmas Gift Tag

Happy Wednesday!
I hope your day is off to a fabulous start so far!

Today I am back with a tag for Christmas that showcases some
 awesome stamps and dies from

I thought it would be fun to make a bigger sized tag, (#6 or 5 1/4"x 2 5/8") than I normally make.  I created my tag out of some Gray striped patterned paper and simply cut off the top two corners at a slight angle. I added some more patterned paper along the bottom and used the small scallop from the Scallop Borders dies to create a fun little scallop in the red houndstooth at the bottom.  I used the Merry Christmas dies and cut out my sentiment in some dark red cardstock and placed it on my tag with the edges hanging off to add a little fun. I stamped the holly leaf from the Hollydays stamp set and used the coordinating die to cut it out. I finished off my tag with some red sequins and some bling, as well as a green button with a white thread bow.

I heard you were Dragon?? (A Get Well Card)

Hey everyone and happy happy Friday!!!
Woot! Woot!
I hope you have lots of fun plans for the upcoming weekend!

I'm popping in real quick today to share a card with you that I made for the current sketch challenge going on over at the My Favorite Things Challenge site.

Here is a look at the MFT Sketch #298:

and here is the card that I created based on the sketch:

I am in love with these dragons and have been patiently waiting for them to get back into stock lol! Once I got them in the mail, I just had to play with them! I colored in my dragon with some Copic markers and then fussy cut him out. I added a bit of chalk to his cheeks along with white gel pen freckles. I decided my little window needed something, so I added some little heart punch outs with wink of stella and glossy accents. Fall means cold and flu season right? I hope no one I know gets sick but just in case, I have one get well card ready to go.

I will also be entering my card into the challenge over at

Here is the card sketch for the month of September:

I finished off my card with some gold sequins and some gold thread.

Let It Snow Shaker!

Happy Wednesday!
I hope your day is off to a fabulous start so far!

Today I am back with another project that showcases some awesome stamps and dies from

In case you missed it, Pink & Main came out with a couple of die sets for older stamps and the coordinating dies for the Snow Globe stamp set was one of them!!! Perfect for adding dimension to your cards but also for some shaker cards!! I love making shakers so of course that is what my brain went to lol! After I had my window cut out, I left the die in place and simply traced around it to create the globe border. (The stamp set includes the stamp to do that but I wanted my line to be on the outside of the window instead of inside). I added some ribbon onto my Stitched Rounded Rectangle frame to finish off my card front.

Here is a look at the card after it has been shaken:

Shopping Our Stash #269

Hey everyone and happy Tuesday!!
It's time for a new challenge over at

This week challenge #269 is....
(Stencils & Dies Only! No Stamping!)

Here is the project that I created for this challenge:

I die cut my white card layer with a stitched rectangle die. I took a bit of embossing paste and mixed it with some Cracked Pistachio Distress ink and got this really light "minty" color. I used a chevron stencil and spread my embossing paste over the top. Once I had the thickness I wanted, I put it aside and let it dry a little while I worked on the other elements of the card. I die cut my ''hello" four times and then layered them on top of each other so that it had the thickness of a light chipboard. I added some wink of stella for a little bit of shimmer on my word. I created an ombre effect onto some scrap white paper using the Cracked Pistachio ink and then cut out a strip to place my greeting onto. I added a bit of crochet thread and mounted it to a lace tag. I created a Kraft card base and then started building up my card, popping the greeting layer up with some foam tape. I finished off my card with a few enamel dots.

Neglected items from my stash that I used are:
--Embossing paste! I love it but don't use it nearly enough
--Stencil. I bought this particular stencil the beginning of Summer and never used it until this challenge.

Be sure to head over to the Shopping Our Stash Challenge Blog to see what my design team sisters created. I hope you will decide to make a project and join us, I would love to see what you create!

Give Thanks Shaker

Hey everybody! I hope you are having a fabulous Friday and have lots of fun crafty plans for the weekend :)

I am currently taking the Shake It Up with Lawn Fawn class (taught by Chari Moss
Lesson 1 was all about making a Compartmental Shaker Card. Basically, it's a shaker card that has different sections so that each compartment can have it's own set of sequins/confetti/beads/etc.

I made my card with the following challenges in mind (in no particular order):

Here is a look at my Compartmental Shaker Card:

For my compartments, I decided to use the Small Stitched Leaves dies from Lawn Fawn and make a Fall card. After I had my shaker card all put together, I added some faux stitching around the leaves with my white gel pen. For my greeting, I used some versamark ink and stamped the Give Thanks sentiment from the Thankful Mice stamp set from Lawn Fawn and then heat embossed it with some gold embossing powder. I flagged one end and then adhered it to the bottom of my card with a button.

Here is a look at my leaves shaken up ;)

You Are Spooktacular

Hi there and happy Thursday!!
I hope you are all having a fabulous day!

I am stopping in real quick to share a card that I made for a couple of challenges.

&

Here is the card that I created for the above challenges:

I am definitely in Halloween mode so of course my brain went straight to a Halloween card for the texture challenge over at Lawnscaping Challenges lol! I created my background by adding some yellow ink and glitter to some embossing paste. I used a star stencil to spread the paste over the top of my purple cardstock. I put that aside to dry and got to work on coloring those sweet images with my Copics. I cut out some hills and a fence from some dies and then heat embossed my greeting onto one of the hills. Once my background was dry, I  began creating my scene. I love it!

Here is a close up so that you can see the dimension and texture the card has:

Owl Christmas Card

Happy Wednesday!

Today I am back with another project that showcases some awesome stamps and dies from
Pink & Main. My project will also give you a little sneaky peek of a new set that will be coming your way very soon.

I can not express how much I adore these little owls in the soon to be released set called, hOWLidays! Cute right?? Did I mention that there will be coordinating dies?? Love love love!!! I decided to make a tent topper style card. I love this style card. It really puts that super cute image front and center. That sweet greeting is also in the hOWLidays stamp set. That scallop strip came from the Scallop Borders die set.

Shopping Our Stash #268

Hey everyone and happy Tuesday!!
It's time for a new challenge over at

This week challenge #268 is....
(use farm animals)

Here is the project that I created for this challenge:

I love all the animals in this stamp set from My Favorite Things. I did a little bit of masking to create my scene and then colored in the images with my Copics. For the sky and grass, I masked off again and used some distress inks. I added my greeting onto my clouds and then popped up the top set of clouds with foam tape. I adhered my image panel onto a piece of red patterned paper that I thought mimicked a bandanna and then adhered that onto my kraft card base.

Items from my stash that are older:
--Summer Fresh Patterned Paper from Simple Stories (over a year old)

September Pink & Main Challenge

Hey everyone!
Is it really September???
The first of the month marks the start of a new challenge at the
BlogButton

The theme for the September challenge is......
Autumn
For the challenge you simply need to make a Autumn themed card, post it to your blog and enter by adding it to the inlinkz at the
Easy Peasy!!

Here is the card that I created for the challenge:

I colored the Scarecrow with my copics and used the coordinating die to cut him out. I thought it would be cute if he was sitting in front of a fence so I also colored the fence from the Sunflowers set and used the coordinating die to cut it out. I attached them to a piece of plaid paper that I had cut out using the Stitched Rounded Rectangles. I also used the stitched rounded rectangles for my yellow polka dot paper as well as my sentiment. The blue cardstock was cut with one of the scallops from the Scallop Borders dies. I finished off my card with some glossy accents and some doodles here and there with my white gel pen.

I hope you will create a project and join us for the
September Pink & Main Challenge!!
I would love to see what you create!!
You can find all of the rules there (there aren't many) and don't forget that you do not have to
