You're Bee-utiful!

Hi everyone!
Today is my day to post over at the Jaded Blossom blog and I made this cute bee themed card to share with you all today.

I covered my black cardbase with some polka dotted patterned paper and added a little strip of black striped paper to the left hand side. I added some crochet thread to help separate the two patterns just a bit. Next, I did a little ink blending onto a piece of white cardstock and used the Rectangle Dies 2 to cut it out. I layered it onto a piece of black cardstock and added my sentiment from the Love Stings (revamped) stamp set along the bottom. I did some simple copic coloring onto my bee, also from the Love Stings (revamped) stamp set, fussy cut it out and popped it up onto my inked panel with some foam tape. I drew his little flight pattern with a black sharpie pen and then popped up my image layer onto my card front with more foam tape. I completed my card by rounding the bottom corners, adding some gold sequins and some black enamel dots for his eyes.

I think this turned out so cute!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Chill Together Soon?

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful day!

I wanted to stop in real quick and share a card that I made for
Yay!! I'm so excited that I managed to create something for all 5 days!!

I had so much fun creating this card! I started by adhering some striped patterned paper on top of a white cardbase. I then used the Mini Cloud Edges stencil and some distress oxide ink to make some fluffy clouds onto a piece of white cardstock. I added a bit of grass by using the Pop Up Wiper Card components from MFT. I created my little pool by inking up some white cardstock with more distress ink and then using the border dies from Jaded Blossom to cut it out, along with a piece of gray cardstock to layer it on. I heat embossed my greeting with some white embossing powder and attached my scene to my card front. I colored that sweet little girl from the Drink Up The Sunshine stamp set from MFT with my Copics  and added a bit of glitter to the white ruffle on her bathing suit. I used the Sunny Skies die from MFT for my sun and lightly spread some Honey Gold Nuvo drops over it. I added it to my card and trimmed off the excess.

I really do like how this card turned out. Sometimes simple is all it takes :)

You Are A Treasure!

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
I wanted to stop in real quick and share a card that I made for
Day 4 of the MFT Camp Create 2019: Sensational Sliders!

I started out by making my card base from some white cardstock. I inked up some clouds as well as some blue layers and used the Blueprints 27 to cut them out along with some Kraft cardstock. . I then used the Wiper Card Components to cut out my ocean waves and the Under The Sea dies for my sand.  I used the Spin & Slide Channels to create my slider channel. I colored those adorable images from the Party Like A Pirate stamp set with my Copics and started creating my scene. I stamped my sentiment along with a few birds and added some Nuvo drops to complete my card.

This was the first time that I have made a slider and it was so fun!  I'm really not sure why I waited so long but I will be making more for sure!

You Have my Heart Shaker Card

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
I wanted to stop in real quick and share a card that I made for
Day 3 of the MFT Camp Create 2019: Spectacular Shakers!

This card was so simple and fun to make! I started out by making an A2 card base from some gray cardstock. I used MFT's Blueprints 27 to cut a scalloped rectangle from some plaid patterned paper and attached that to my card base. Next I started building my shaker portion. I used MFT's Cross Stitch Rectangle Stax to cut out some pink patterned paper and then used the Heart Shaker Window & Frame (also from MFT) to create my window. I added a heart shaker pouch to the opening, filled it with some sequins, confetti, glitter and seed beads and closed the back with some more gray cardstock. I adhered it to my card base and added a white frame around the heart. I used the Bitty Bears stamp set for that adorable bear and sentiment. I added an enamel heart for the bear to hold and some crochet thread to complete my card.

I think it turned out so cute!!

You're My Person

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
I wanted to stop in real quick and share a card that I made for
Day 2 of the MFT Camp Create 2019: Remarkable Resist!

I don't have a lot of background stamps, so I decided to make my sentiment my focal point and use it for my resist technique. I used some white embossing powder for my greeting and then some Distress Oxides for my pink. It did turn out a lot brighter than what I was hoping for but I figured that was ok since my patterned paper has two different shades of pink in it. Once I had it all inked up, I spritz a bit of water for some added interest. I added a layer of vellum behind it and popped it up onto my card front with foam tape. I finished my card with some white glitter hearts, Nuvo drops and some black doodling.

My daughter and I are big fans of the TV show, Grey's Anatomy and this card will be perfect for me to send to her. I think she will get a kick out of it :)

Sending You An Ocean of Love

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous day and aren't too hot where you are. It is super hot in my area so in my craft room I will stay lol! I made a super cute card today for
Day 1 of the MFT Camp Create 2019 that actually started earlier this week.
Day 1 was all about Watercolor. Here is a look at what I created:

I mixed some Distress Oxide inks with some water to create my watercolors. I colored some watercolor cardstock with three different colors, getting lighter as I approached the top of the paper. The original plan was to have the entire front of the card be my watercolor panel, but I decided at the last minute to use a Zig Zag Stitched Circle Stax die to create more of a focal piece. Once I had my circle cut out, I added an ocean floor by using some kraft cardstock and the Stitched Basic Edges dies. I heat embossed my greeting along the bottom and added some little fish from the Friends with Fins stamp set and then popped up my circle with some foam tape to the front of my card base. I colored that adorable whale from the Friends with Fins set with my Copics and popped that up with more foam tape. I completed my little scene by adding some coral and sea weed from the Under The Sea dies and added a few Nuvo drops. I added a crochet bow the the top of my card and called it good!

I think this turned out so cute and I had a lot of fun playing with ink, water and paintbrushes today.

I will also be entering my card into the following challenge:

Fresh Birthday

Hi everyone!
Today is my day to post over at the Jaded Blossom blog and I made this fun birthday card to share with you all today.

I've recently been eating a lot of fresh fruit and I gotta say, I think it inspired me to make this birthday card lol! I started by inking up the front of my card base with some distress oxide inks. Once I had them blended the way I liked, I cut two pieces of white cardstock, stamped my greeting from the Go Bananas stamp set and layered the pieces on my card base with some foam tape, making sure to allow just a bit of the color to show through. Once I had that done, I cut out some fun fruits using the Fruit Dies and adhered them to my raised panels. I completed the look by adding some sequins and Nuvo drops by each fruit.

So simple but I love the look of this card! and the stitching on that fruit....💜!

Jaded Blossom's July Challenge!!

Hi everyone!!
I hope you are all having a fabulous Sunday!
Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom Blog!! Yay!!!

For this month's challenge, we would like to see your projects that use those awesome Jaded Blossom products and the following photo as your inspiration:

Such a cute photo and so many different ways that it can be used for your inspiration! Here is a look at what I made to share with you today:

I was inspired by the pastel colors and the words, Rainbow and Unicorn. I thought it would be fun to make a shaker and try to incorporate all those items onto my card. I started out by using a cloud stencil and inking up some clouds with oxide inks in different colors to form a "rainbow" cloud background. I cut out my cloud background using one of the Octagon Dies and started to create my shaker piece. I added some fun sequins, confetti bits, acetate and a frame that I created by stacking two of the Octagon Dies together. I created my card base from some light blue cardstock and used the Card Mat Die to cut out a piece of polka dot vellum to layer on top. I added my shaker piece to the front of my card and began coloring up that adorable Unicorn from the Unicorns and Glitter stamp set. Once I had her colored with my Copics, I fussy cut her out and added a bit of glitter to her horn. I added her to the front of my shaker window and added my greeting below her. I completed the look of my card by adding some Nuvo drops and confetti pieces on the acetate to provide a little more interest.

I think this turned out so pretty!! I love the soft colors!

Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom blog to see what the rest of the DT made, they never disappoint!

You Are My Summer!

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous Friday so far!
I'm popping in real quick to share a card that I made today with a few challenges in mind.

The challenges are:
**PinSpirational Challenge #242 (photo below)**
(I was inspired by the colors and stripes)

and

Great challenges huh? Here is a look at what I created to play along with them:

As soon as I saw this new stamp set from The Greeting Farm, I knew I had to have it. My hubby and I met way back when (teenagers lol) at the beach and had our first date at the same beach the very next day. We shared many days and nights at that beach and so I knew I wanted to make him a card using this image and sentiment. I stamped my image, did some simple Copic coloring and used a circle die to cut it out. I layered my white card base with some patterned papers following the above sketch and stamped my greeting onto one of the strips. I die cut another circle and then popped my image up onto it with some foam tape for a little dimension. I completed my card with some doodles around the perimeter and some enamel hearts and white Nuvo drops. I think it turned out so cute and makes me smile :)

Thank you so much for stopping by today and giving my latest creation a look!

You've Been Elfed!

Hi everyone!
Today I have a super cute Christmas themed gift card holder to share with you that I created using those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps and dies!

I couldn't help myself, I just had to keep playing with this new Gift Box Slider Die that JB released yesterday lol! I used some red striped patterned paper from AC to create my box and paired it with some paper from Doodlebug for the box lid and bow. I used the Elf Workshop stamp set and colored that sweet little elf with my Copic markers. I used my Scan N Cut to cut it out and popped it up with some foam tape. I added a bit of glitter glue to her hat and gift that she is holding. I stamped my greeting onto a strip of white cardstock, notched the ends and tied it to my gift card holder with some crochet thread. I completed my gift card holder with some white Nuvo drops and some white gel pen doodles.

Here is a look at what I created to share with you:

I thought it would be fun to get a little ahead and make a few little gift card holders for the upcoming Christmas season using this fun new Gift Tags stamp and Gift Box Slider die!! The first one I made used some Holly printed patterned paper and some red glitter cardstock. The Gift Box Slider die is so easy to use!! It really did make this project a breeze! I used the new Gift Tags stamp set for my greeting and used the tag from the Gift Box Slider Die (the sentiments fit perfectly on the tag) and attached it to my bow with some red crochet thread. I completed my tag with a little bit of holly from the Christmas Banner Dies

Here is a look at the second one that I made:

I made this one in the same style as the first one. I just changed up the paper to some fun gingerbread patterned paper and some white glitter for the package accents and bow. I added a fun little gingerbread from the Christmas Banner Dies to help accent the tag.

You know me and my love for shaped cards so I decided to make a third project and use the Gift Box Slider Die a little bit differently and make a shaped birthday themed card.

This was so easy!! I used the Slider part of the Gift Box Slider Die and cut it out twice. I scored one of the pieces right below the bow and then simply adhered them together making sure the scored piece was the back piece of my card. I then cut out some fun birthday themed patterned papers to decorate the front of my card and used the Gift Tags stamp set for my greeting. I completed the look of my card with some fun confetti stars.

So fun and cute!!
