Happy Saturday! I hope everyone is having a great weekend and has a safe and fun Memorial Day!

Today's project was made for the Cooking With Cricut Everday In May! My neighbor's daughter is graduating from high school next month and she asked me if I could make a banner for her. Her school colors are red, blue and gold. I had so much fun making this and she loved it!

Here is a picture of the whole banner:

A close up of the end details:

The middle:

And last but not least, details of the embossing and the letters popped up:

The banner pieces were cut from Twinkle Toes at 6". The letters were cut from Pooh Font at 3". The graduation hats were cut out of Wrap It Up at 1.5". The "Class Of" was cut from Wild Card at 8" and the "2011" was cut from Lyrical Letters at 1.5".

Little One

Hi blogging friends! I hope you are all having a fabulous Monday! I made this card for the DT call over at Cricut 360. It is a new challenge blog coming this July. For the call, you had to make a project with a bug (any kind) and the color lime green. Here is what I came up with:

Cute huh? I am really pleased with how it came out. For my onesie shaped card, I welded 2 onesie's sized at 5.5" each onto my gypsy using the New Arrival cricut Cartridge. Then I cut another onesie out of the lime green paper and paper pieced them onto the blue card to give the outfit the green accents. The caterpillar was cut out of Create A Critter at 2" and popped up with a dimensional to the front of the card. The words, "Little One" was cut out of New Arrival at 3/4". I added a little bow out of some twine to the caterpillar and did some faux stitching with my white gelly roll pen to finish it off.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and check out my latest creation! I really appreciate it! Have a great crafty day! :)

Supplies:
Cricut/Gypsy--New Arrival & Create A Critter
Card Stock--Recollections
Stamp--Peachy Keen Stamps (everyday character face assortment)

Cooking With Cricut's Cele"bear"ation!

Welcome to Stacey's Creative Corner and Cooking With Cricut’s Cele”bear”ation Blog Hop! We’ve been partying all month long in honor of CWC’s first blog-aversary. If you arrived here from Dalis’s blog at http://www.stampergirl.com/ you’re in the right place! If you’re crashing the party in mid-hop, head on over to Cooking With Cricut — grab some punch and cake and start at the beginning.

Our theme for today’s party is bears and/or celebrations. I decided to celebrate the upcoming arrival of a baby for my project. I decided to make a tissue box cover to go in a little one's nursery. I found the instructions on how to make the box here.

Here is a picture of the front of the box with tissues:

Side 2:

Side 3:

Side 4:

And the top view:

So cute! I cut all my images from the New Arrival cart out at 3" except for the BABY blocks, they were cut out at 2". The bad part is, I have no clue as to who I will give this too. I was just in the mood to make a cute baby item. :) Makes me wish that I paper crafted when I was decorating my children's nurseries. haha!

A blog hop wouldn't be complete without some candy. So....I am offering the following prize to one lucky winner:

1 pack of pre-scored card with envelopes

&

1 D'vine Swirls cuttlebug embossing folder

All you have to do to be eligible for my prize is to post a comment on this post.

You don't have to be a follower, but if you are, leave a second comment to give yourself a second chance at winning.

I will pick the winner Monday morning, 5-23-11 by using Random.org

Now it's your turn! Link up your cele”bear”ation-related project at CookingWithCricut.com.

Here are the guidelines for the challenge:

- Project must include a Cricut cut.
- Project must include a Bear.
- Project must be new for this blog hop challenge.
- You must link to your post and not just your blog.
- Your post must include a link back to CWC.

You will have one week to complete your project. The Design Team will pick their three favorites and one lucky person will be chosen randomly to win one of the prize packages being offered in this hop.

Thanks for joining our cele"bear"ation! Your next host in our party is:

A Skittles Birthday

Hi! Happy Wednesday! Today starts the beginning of another challenge at Cooking With Cricut! This weeks challenge is balloons! You must include a balloon somewhere on your project. How fun!

Here is what I came up with:

I bought these little tubes at my LSS and wasn't quite sure what I was going to do with them. Then it hit me, use them as little candy holders. My children love giving little gifts to their school friends on their birthday's so these work out perfect. I filled the tube with skittles and attached the little balloon tag to the top. The tag was cut out of the Wrap It Up cart at 2". Then I made a little 3x3 card to go along with the candy tube. So cute!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation! Don't forget to head over to Cooking with Cricut to see what the rest of the team created and to enter the challenge yourself! Have a great crafty day!
