Teacher Appreciation Gift

Hi everyone!
Happy Saturday!
Today I get to show you another project for
Dr. Phil Scraps

I decided to make a really fun little gift set for
your child's teacher. This could be used not only for Teacher's Appreciation Day but
would also make a very cute gift for Valentine's Day.

This little gift has 2 parts to it.
Here is part 1:

A frapp jar that has been repurposed to hold some candies.
These are so easy to make.
All I did was take a Starbucks Frappachino jar and cleaned it really well.
After it is all dry, it's ready to decorate.
All I did was cut a strip of patterned paper 2" x 10.5" from the
Before I adhered it to my bottle, I used some of the blue card stock,
and used a border punch to give it the spiral edge look that a notebook has.
I layered my patterned paper on top and then attached it to my bottle using some really strong adhesive.
I used red liner tape.
Once that was adhered, I stamped that adorable school house from the
School Rocks Stamp Set (item #B1396) onto some white card stock
and colored the image with some colored pencils.
Then I hand cut it out and adhered it to the front of my jar using some foam adhesive.

For the lid, I stamped this adorable little

For part 2 of my gift set,
I decided to make a cute little post it note holder.

How cute is that silhouette of the kids headed to school?
You can also find that on the School Rocks Stamp Set (item #Z2170).

All I did to make this was cut a strip of white card stock out at 3.5" x  7".
Then I scored at 3.25" and 3.75".
I decorated the front with the stamped image as well as some more of the paper
and rounded all of the bottom corners.
Then I just simply adhered a package of post it's to the inside.

Here is a picture of the post it note holder opened:

Here is one last picture showing both items in the set together:

I think it makes a super cute gift set for that special teacher in your child's life.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Great teacher set! I sure do like that you reused that bottle. I don't drink those frappes, but I found a flower bottle from Michaels that looks similar.

I have a bunch of these bottles in my closet. You're right, they're super easy to decorate, fill, and give as gifts. I often fill them with bath salts!!

Any teacher would love this gift!
