Jaded Blossom's June Challenge!

Hi everyone and happy June!!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom blog!!

This month is.....

Make A Background (using stamps or dies)!

 We would love to see your projects that use those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps/dies!

Challenge Guidelines: 

1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back linking

2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp, die, or stencil somewhere on it. 

3) Only one entry per person

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today...

I thought it would be fun to make a background and use it as if it were patterned paper. 

I started by stamping my images from the You Are Succulent stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of white cardstock. I made sure to turn the images for a little visual interest. Once I had the plants stamped out, I did some simple Copic coloring. I filled in some of the empty spaces with hearts by using the Clear Jar: Valentine Add Ons. I trimmed down my panel, doodled around the perimeter and adhered it to my card base. I used the Stitched Arch Dies to cut out a piece of coral cardstock and a piece of white cardstock and then layered them together. I stamped my sentiment from the You Are Succulent set with black ink and added one of the plant images, that I fussy cut out, next to the sentiment with foam tape. I did a little more fussy cutting with some of the hearts so that I could add them around my sentiment as well. I tied a bow using some hemp cording and popped it up with more foam tape. I added some white gel pen doodles to finish off my card. I think this turned out so pretty!
