Hi to all my crafty friends! Today I would like to share with you a card I made for the Jan. Card challenge over at scrapbook.com as well as the challenge at Fantabulous Cricut (Man Time).
I used the faux leather technique on my card. You can find the tutorial on how to do this technique HERE. I always have the hardest time making masculine cards, this technique works really well for creating a masculine card. I used the Life's A Party cricut cartridge to cut out my treasure map. I cut it out at 2.5". The inside of the card reads, "Aye hope you have a great birthday, Matey". The stamp on the front of my card as well as the one inside came from the Joy's Life You're So Punny stamp set.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation! I really appreciate it! I hope you have a great crafty day!
Supplies:
Cricut: Life's A Party
Card Stock: Brown (Bazzill Basics), Cream (Recollections), Real Red (SU!)
Stamps: You're So Punny (Joy's Life)
Ink: Chocolate Chip )SU!), Tea Dye Distress Ink (Tim Holtz)
Misc.: Offray Ribbon, Clear Embossing Powder (Tsukineko)
