Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Wednesday!!

With Thanksgiving tomorrow here in the US, I thought I would share with you a fun little way you can dress up your holiday table.

I used a box that I found in the Silhouette store and then dressed it up a little. I cut my turkey out using the Gobblers set from KaDoodle Bug Designs. Once I had him all assembled, I added a few accents with my white gel pen and I popped him up with some foam adhesive. I also added a little banner and a greeting to the top of the box and tied it closed with some ribbon.  I filled my boxes with some little candies.  I think these would be great to sit on the table and even to use as little place markers. The best part, it was really super easy and quick to put together :) Gotta love that!

For all of my US friends, I hope you all have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!
May your day be filled with wonderful memories and full tummies :)
Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I really appreciate it!

Happy Thanksgiving Card

Hi everyone and happy Monday!!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and got lots of crafting done :)

Today I would like to share with you a card that I made for a couple of challenges that incorporates one of those sweet little Pilgrims from the

For my card, I cut out and built the Pilgrim Boy from the Thanksgiving Fancies set and layered him on top of some stitched layers that I cut out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More set from My Creative Time. I was also able to use up some Thanksgiving patterned papers that I have had in my stash for about 2 years now. I love when that happens!! After I had him adhered to the front of my top card layer, I stamped my greeting using a stamp set from My Creative Time called, Teeny Tag Holidays. I finished off my card with a some ribbon and a little bow that I then topped with a button.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
SOS#178: Thankful (I used some old patterned paper)
and
(the colors and the pumpkins on top of the cupcakes for inspiration)

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and take a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!

I hope you have a fabulous crafty day!

I decided to make a thinking of you card using these two new sets.

For my card, I thought it would be kinda neat to try and create a little scene. For my grass, I used the Stitched Grass Die and cut it out twice and layered them on top of each other and placed them at the bottom of my card. I then used the NEW Stitched Window Dies & Accessories to create my curtains and window. I stamped my flowers from the NEW Window Sentiments & Flowers set and colored them in using some Bic Markers. Once I had them all colored in, I used the coordinating die from the NEW Stitched Window Dies & Accessories to cut it out. I also used it to cut out my flower box. I used a sentiment from the NEW Window Sentiments & Flowers and heat embossed it using some white embossing powder. I then cut out some butterflies using the All Around Holidays for the smaller butterfly and the Pretty Butterflies & Dragonfly Dies for the larger one. I added a few pieces of bling for the flight paths and a few random doodles with my white gel pen.

Here is a look at the entire release:

Welcome to Day 3 of the My Creative Time's 38th edition sneak peeks!
How have you liked the peeks that my DT sisters have created for you so far?

Today we are giving you a sneak peek of 2 new sets called

For my project, I decided to make a fun little cocoa holder that would make a perfect little gift for a teacher, neighbor, friend, pretty much anyone who likes cocoa :)

To create my cocoa holder, I used the Scallop Stitched Envelope Die and cut it out twice. I trimmed the side flaps down and then attached the two envelopes together and folded the top flap down over to the front. Once I had my box assembled, I adhered some patterned paper to the front. I then cut out some hills using the Fun Stitched Edges. For my super adorable snowman, I used the NEW Winter Snowman Dies and the New Snow Buddies set. Aren't those little mittens adorable!! Not to mention that little scarf and hat!! I love it!! My sentiment, the snowman's buttons and his little face also came from the NEW Snow Buddies set. I tied some ribbon around the top of my box and added a snowflake from the Winter Flake Dies to the center of my bow. I finished off my box with a few sequins, a pom pom on the top of  his hat and some wink of stella.

My Creative Time: Scrapping The Little Things

Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

Today at the My Creative Time blog, it is Scrapping The Little Things.
This is the day that we create a scrapbook page, smash book page or a project life page.

I decided to make a layout to have ready to insert some pictures from Thanksgiving onto.

I had so much fun building this layout! All of my photo mats are from the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More. I used the medium size frame for my mats which will allow me to use the smaller frame to cut out my picture and layer on top. (The measurements you see above will be what my photo will cut out at using the smallest rectangle frame). That way my pictures will also have that cool stitched border. I love that! I added a fun little tab using the Stitched Tab Die and I will add the date to that. The leaves were all cut from the A Thankful Heart set. I stamped my title using a sentiment from the A Thankful Heart set onto a frame from the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More. My title is adhered with foam tape only in the middle so that I can easily attach my photos by sliding them under that frame. For my pumpkins, I used the Stitched Oval Die for my tall pumpkin and the oval from the Seasonal Greetings for my shorter pumpkin. The pumpkin stems and leaves all came from the Seasonal Greetings set as well. I finished it off with just a couple of enamel dots and some wink of stella on my leaves for a little shimmer.

Thanks so much for stopping my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!
I appreciate it so much!!

Holiday Card Workshop 2014--Day 4

Hi everyone!

I have some more cards to share with you today that I created for the Holiday Card Workshop 2014 online card class.

Day 4 was all about one layer cards. Jennifer McGuire showed us how to create these super cute and easy one layer cards that feature a window. I decided to make two of them.

For my deer card, I used that sweet little deer (the die and the stamp)and the greeting from the Oh Deer set by My Creative Time and colored him in with some colored pencils. My circle was cut out using one of the circles from the Bunch Of Fun Circle Dies. I added a bit of Wink Of Stella in my red circle background to give it a little sparkle.

For my tree card, I used the Seasonal Greetings for the Tree die and the Whimsical Trees stamp set for the tree stamp. My Greeting came from the Boughs Of Holly set, Once again, I used the circle from the Bunch Of Fun Circle Dies for my window.

Here is a look at both of my cards together and laying flat:

Holiday Card Workshop 2014--Day 4

Happy Sunday!
I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend so far!

Today I have a card to share with you that I made for the Holiday Card Workshop
Day 4.

Day 4 was all about one layer cards. This was a hard day for me. I struggle so much with one layer cards. I always feel like I need to add patterned paper, bling, ribbon, etc. haha! I was so happy when Laura Bassen showed us how to make a pretty little scene. Even though this is a one layer card, I think it looks like it has so much dimension.

I didn't have any scene stencils so I made my own using some My Creative Time products. I cut out some hills using one of the edges from the Fun Stitched Edges dies onto a piece of acetate. I also used some acetate to create a stencil for my trees (Seasonal Greetings), and my heart and star (4x4 Journal Die + More). My sentiment came from the Mixed Holiday Sentiments. After I created my scene and stamped my sentiment, I spritzed the front of my card using some Perfect Pearls mist. I also added just a bit of glossy accents to my heart and stars.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog today!
I really appreciate it!

I hope you have a great crafty day!

Holiday Card Workshop Day 3

Happy Friday!

Today I have another card to share with you that I made for the Holiday Card Workshop 2014.

This is the card that I made for the Day 3, Watercolor Resist technique that was shown to us by the very talented Kristina Werner.

For my card, I decided to go with a non traditional color scheme. I figured the turquoise blue would compliment the snowflakes. My greeting as well as the snowflakes came from the Winter Cheer set by My Creative Time. My stitched card layers also came from My Creative Time. You can find those in the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies + More set.  For my watercolor, I just used what I had on hand, which is just the Crayola Watercolors. I popped up my top layer with some foam adhesive and added a few pieces of some gray bling as well as a twine bow.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!

Holiday Card Workshop Day 2

Happy Thursday!

Today I would like to share with you a card that I made for Day 2 of the

Day 2 was all about interactive cards.
One of the examples shown was a shaker card and since I love making shakers, I decided to go with that type of interactive card.

I used one of the frames from the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More set my My Creative Time to create the layer for my card. For my shaker, I used the frame from the Capture Frame w/Arrow Dies and then filled it with some holly leaves from the Boughs Of Holly set, red sequins and some iridescent chunky glitter. I stamped my sentiment and used some red embossing powder  to give it a little pop. I finished off my card by using some twine and some pearls.

Here is a view after the card has been shaken:
