My Favorite Place...

Hi everyone!

I'm so excited to be back to share another project with you
as a guest designer for Gerda Steiner Designs!!

Today I am sharing a card that I made using one of the new stamp sets that released this month called
There are 3 adorable images in the Cats & Boxes stamp set, along with 6 great sentiments.

I knew I wanted to make a card for my hubby as soon as I saw these two little kitties next to each other in their box. So cute!
I started by covering my white A2 cardbase with some striped patterned paper. Next, I cut out my white panel using my Cricut to cut out a big heart in the center. I wanted the striped paper to show through the center of the heart as well as a small bit on each side of the card. I popped up my heart panel with foam tape and drew some doodles around the perimeter with a black Micron pen. I stamped my image using some black Memento ink and colored it with my Copic markers. I fussy cut it out, stamped my sentiment onto the front of the box & popped it up with more foam tape into the center of my heart. I added some hearts that I cut out using various punches and dies that I have in my stash. I completed my card with a tiny little pink bow and some white Nuvo drops.

Copic Colors Used:
--Cats: C0, C1, C2, C3, C4, C6, R00, R20--
--Box: E41, E42, E43, E44--

Just Flyin' By To Say...

  Hi crafty friends!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Today I have a fun mini slimline card to share with you that I created using an adorable image from

I just could not resist this little Teddy Bear Pilot! Isn't he just too cute??
To create my card, I created my mini slimline card base by folding a piece of 6x6 cardstock in half. Next, I built my sky. To do that, I trimmed down a piece of white cardstock and layered some stitched clouds on top. I inked around all the edges using the residual ink on my blending brush and adhered my sky to the card base. I printed out that adorable Teddy Bear Pilot and colored him with my Copic markers. I used my Scan N Cut to cut him out and popped him up onto my card with foam tape. Next I printed off my greeting, notched the end, added some string and attached that to my card with more foam tape. I added some sequins and Nuvo drops to complete my card.

Copic Colors Used:
**Bear: E31, E33, E34, R00, R20**
**Shirt/Hat/Glasses: B32, B34, B37, E42, E44, C4, C6**

Here is a what I created based on the sketch:

I started by creating an A2 card base from some white cardstock. I cut a piece of plaid patterned paper and added a little pink die cut scallop along the bottom edge. I added some teal crochet thread to help separate the layers a bit before adhering the patterned paper piece to my card front. I used a stitched die to cut my oval from white cardstock, stamped my greeting with some black ink and popped it up onto my card front with foam tape. I built my little girl gnome and popped her up with more foam tape. I love dimension lol! I added some sequins and white Nuvo drops to complete my card. Beachy Keen!

 Hi crafty friends!

I hope your day is off to a wonderful start!

Today I'm popping in to share a card that I made for the new challenge that started today over on the
 All Dressed Up Challenge Blog
They are always anything goes as long as you use a All Dressed Up image.

This little Sandy Beach image is just so adorable and I knew I wanted to create something with it as soon as I saw it.

I printed out my image onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored it with my Copic markers. I trimmed it down and placed it onto a piece of scrap cardstock so that I could layer some polka dotted paper underneath. I tied some white sheer ribbon around it before adhering my image panel onto a white scalloped rectangle that I popped up onto my A2 cardbase with foam tape. I added my sentiment and my card was complete! I did also add some clear wink of stella to the innertubes and windows but my photo didn't quite capture the sparkle.

Now I have the urge to go rent a camper and vacay on the beach lol!

Copic colors used:

Here is a look at the sketch:

Optional Theme: Use Dies and/or Punches

Here is the card that I created based on the sketch:

To create my card, I started with a white A2 card base. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out a piece of honey comb patterned paper and layered it on top. I used a piece of striped patterned paper (from the same paper pack) to create my middle strip, adding some die cut scallops behind it before adding it to my card. I stamped those adorable little bees from the Pink & Main and colored them with my Copic markers. Once I had them colored up, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and then added them to my blue square with some foam tape. I added my sentiment along the bottom of my white square and then added my square pieces to my card front. I added a bit of shimmer to my clouds and some pink Nuvo drops to the centers of my flowers.

Copic Colors Used:
**Beehive: Y21, Y23, Y26, Y28, R83**

You Are Mermazing!

 Hi crafty friends!!
I hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Today I have a fun card to share with you that I created using a new image from

Isn't she so sweet?
I created my card by making a white A2 card base and using a die from Jaded Blossom to add some fun patterned paper layers on top. I printed out my mermaid onto a piece of white cardstock and colored her with my Copic markers. Once I had her colored in, I used a circle die to partially cut her out. I fussy cut her tail a bit so that it hung out of the circle for a little interest. My camera didn't really pick it up but I went around the edges of my circle as well as the mermaid with a light blue Copic marker. I finished my card with a fun paper bow and some glitter Nuvo drops in the bubbles.

Copic Markers Used:
--Skin: E50, E51, E21, R20, R00--
--Hair: RV52, RV55--
--Tail: V01, V12, V15, V17--
