I hope your weekend is off to a great start and you have a lot of fun things planned!

Today I get to show you a fun little card using those awesome

I decided to make a cute little alien card to send to someone just for fun.
Hopefully it will brighten their day!

I cut my Alien in the spaceship out using my Cricut Expression 2 and the Life's A Party cartridge. He is cut out at 3". For my greeting, I just typed it out using word and then printed it out onto some white cardstock. I trimmed it down and adhered it to my card.
I then popped him up using an Action Wobble!

He is ready to take flight:

And here he comes to say hi!

Fun Card Folds Birthday Blog Hop!

Happy Saturday!
Welcome to the Fun Card Folds Birthday Blog Hop!

I'm so glad you could join us today!
If you arrived here from Joy's blog
then you are in the right spot.
If you just happened to stumble across the hop today on my blog and would like to start at the beginning, then just hop on over and see Joy at Joy's Life

For my project, I decided to make a "Z" Fold card:

This was my first time making this type of card and I had so much fun making it!
You can find the tutorial that I used to make my card HERE

For the front of my card, I used my Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge and cut out the beehive at 2.5". I then used my drippy goo border punch and punched out a few strips and tucked them under some of the openings in my hive to mimic honey dripping out of the hive. I also added some yellow stickles to them.

Here is a picture of the card opened:

I cut my bee out of the Create A Critter cricut cartridge also. My bee is sized at 3.5". I also popped him up on some foam adhesive. I drew a flight pattern from the hive all the way to the bee.

For my sentiment, I used this super cute greeting that can be found on the
Punny Animals stamp set by Joy's Life:

I thought it was perfect for my cute bee card
and Joy's Stamps always leave such a great clean impression!
You can see all of Joy's Stamps by checking out her store HERE

My card is going to a dear friend for her upcoming birthday so I also decided to make a  little coordinating box with a few candies for her:

I found my 3D Honeycomb Box (#37192) at the Silhouette Online Store. I attached a little bee to the front and drew a flight pattern all the way around the entire box. I wrapped a few nugget candies with coordinating papers and put those inside the box and closed it shut with some white satin ribbon.

Here is a picture of the card and the box together:

What's a blog hop without a little candy?
I am going to give the following prize away to a follower of my blog:

This week the design team is showing you projects that celebrate an outdoor theme.

For my card, I cut my little bear in the canoe out with my Silhouette using a file I found in the Silhouette Online Store (file listed under supplies). I adhered him close to the top of the card so that he hung off a little to give my card more depth.

I stamped my sentiment using a greeting from the Wild Life Puns stamp set.

Game Time!

Hi everyone!
Happy Saturday!
I hope your weekend is off to a fabulous start!

Today I get to show you a fun little card using those awesome

Who's ready for some football??

My family loves watching football! Me? Well, I would rather craft lol!
For my card, I cut my football out at 3" using the Sports Mania Cricut Cartridge. My greeting was cut from some of the patterned paper in The Guy Stack. I notched one end and then adhered it to my card front with part of it hanging off.
I think this card is perfect to send out some invites for some friends to come over and watch a little football and enjoy some snacks. Not to mention how fun they are with Action Wobbles bringing the football to life with movement!

Crayon Candy Container

Hi guys!
Happy Saturday!

Today I get to show you another project using those awesome

This week is all about going Back To School!

I decided to make a little gift to give to someone special on their first day of school.

I found this cute little acrylic pencil/crayon shaped container and filled it with some candy. Then I wrapped some fun patterned paper around the middle and attached some rumple ribbon to the top of the crayon. I stamped my greeting onto some white cardstock using some chalk ink and made a little tag and attached it to the rumple ribbon with a button and some twine.

Here is a view from the back so you can see the container better:

This sentiment from the My Hero stamp set
is the perfect way to wish someone a great first day!

Inky Situation #2

Hi everyone!
Happy Thursday!

It's time for a new linky party at An Inky Situation!

For An Inky Situation #2,  the theme is a color challenge!

Create a project based on the following colors:

If you don't have these exact Stampin Up colors, that's ok. Just try to get as close to these colors as you can. You can also incorporate neutral colors into your project, such as white, black & kraft.

Here is the project that I created:

For my card, I made my card base out of Calypso Coral and rounded two opposite corners and then added a layer of white cardstock on top of my card base. I then used my full heart punch and punched 3 hearts. One out of So Saffron, Calypso Coral and the last one out of Marina Mist. I popped each heart up with some dimensionals. For my greeting, I used a sentiment from the Four You stamp set onto some white cardstock. I cut a banner shape out of each end and then popped it up on the center heart with some more dimensionals.

Thanks so much for stopping by and looking at my latest creation!
Don't forget to head over to An Inky Situation
to see what my wonderful DT sisters did to inspire you.

I hope you will join us and play along!
I would love to see what you create!
