Deck The Halls!

Hi everyone and happy happy Friday!
Yay for the weekend!!

Digi Doodle Studios released some new images today (2nd Yay of the day lol!!) and
I am stopping by to share a project that I created using one of the newly released images called

Isn't she so sweet??
I am very much a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas colors, I love love love the reds and greens of the season so right away I knew that's how I wanted to color up this cutie. Once I had her colored with Copic markers, I fussy cut her out and set her to the side while I worked on my card.
I covered a white cardbase with some red patterned paper and then die cut another piece of patterned paper using a scallop edged rectangle to layer on top. I wanted a bit of separation between the white patterned paper and my image, so I die cut an oval from some green patterned paper to help with that. I popped up my image using foam tape and added some white doodles. I cut out a sentiment strip, placed it onto a piece of patterned paper and popped it up with foam tape under my image. I finished my card by adding some chunky glitter to her wing and some Ruby Red Stickles to her holly berries.

Copic Colors Used:
**Skin: E50, E51, E21**
**Hair: E41, E43, E44**

**Shoes: C4, C6**

I would like to play along with the following challenges:

A Halloween Hello!

Hi everyone and happy Monday!
Today I am stopping by to share a project that I created using some of the images released from
Digi Doodle Studios last month.

For my last Halloween card of this season, I used some of the bats and one of the adorable houses that can be found in the Halloween Scene Builder Digi Bundle.

Isn't that little house so cute?!?!

Making my card was pretty simple. I used a scallop rectangle die to cut out a piece of plaid patterned paper and added it to the front of a white card base. I printed out my house onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored in the image with my Copic markers. Once it was colored, I fussy cut it out and added it to a black textured cardstock circle with foam tape. I printed out some of the bats, also included in the Halloween Scene Builder Digi Bundle, and used my Scan N cut to cut them out, placing them around my pumpkin house. I stamped my sentiment and used a sentiment strip die to cut it out, popping it up under my house with foam tape. I placed my cardstock circle onto my card and wrapped some black cording around to complete my card. Simple but I love it!!

Copic Colors Used:

Trick Or Treat!

Hi everyone and happy Monday!
Today I am stopping by to share a project that I created using one of the newly released images from

I used the super cute ghost, Ghostly Dilly Friendly Halloween Ghost for my project.

I thought she was so super cute holding her little trick or treat bucket, that it inspired me to create a little  candy bucket for my project.

To create my bucket, I used the Octagon Treat Box die from Jaded Blossom and cut it out in some orange cardstock. I embossed the top layering piece with a polka dot embossing folder for a little dimension. I printed out my Ghostly Dilly Friendly Halloween Ghost onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and did a little Copic coloring. I cut her out using my Scan N Cut and popped her up onto my bag using some foam adhesive. I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of black patterned paper with Versafine Ink and heat embossed it using white embossing powder. I cut the sentiment apart and layered them next to my little ghostly friend. I finished my little bag by adding some black confetti stars and filling it with some yummy little candies.

So cute!!
I might make a few more of these! I think they are the perfect size to hand out this Spooky season to neighbors, Mail Carriers, Hair Dressers, etc.

Copic Colors Used:
Ghost: B0000. B000, C3
Hat: V12, V15, V16, C3, C5, C7

Today I am popping in to share a card that I created using one of the new images released from

For my card, I used the super adorable image called Mimi Sue Lovable Witch.

To create my card, I started by covering a white top folding cardbase with some polka dotted patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs. I added a strip of black glitter cardstock down the middle and glued a piece of green patterned paper on top. Bats About You!!

Hi everyone!!
Happy happy Monday!!

Did you see the news??
Digi Doodle Studios has a new release!!

So many adorable images, and the best part...they are instantly delivered to your inbox!!

Here is a look at a card that I created using one of the new adorable images called, Sleeping Bat.

Look at his adorable little face and smile! I wonder what he is dreaming about?? lol!

Here is how I created my card...
I created a white A2 top folding card base and added two pieces of patterned paper on top that I cut out using a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die. I used a small border die to cut out a piece of black cardstock to add a little separation between the two layers. I printed out my Sleeping Bat image and colored it with Copic markers (I will list the markers used below). Once I had the image colored, I used my Scan N Cut to cut it out. I die cut a Photo Frame, added my bat and then backed the piece with some patterned paper that resembled a night sky. I added my sentiment & a little bow before popping up my image panel with foam tape. I finished my card by adhering some black confetti stars.
So adorable!!

Copic Colors Used:
--Bat: C0, C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, R20, R00, R000--

Hey There Boo-tiful!

 Happy Augtober!! haha!
Anyone else getting excited about the Halloween season or is it just me??
I think Halloween is one of my favorite seasons to create for, with the exception of Christmas.
I love this sweet little ghost from Digi Doodle Studios, called Bubbles La Boo, and couldn't wait to get her printed out, colored up and put onto a card!

Here's how I made it.
I started by covering my A2 card base with some patterned paper and rounding one of the corners. I inked around the perimeter with some residual ink that was left on my blending brush. Next, I cut down a smaller piece of patterned paper from the same paper pad and added a little border on two of the sides. I created the border by die-cutting two border pieces using a smaller die from Recollections and just gluing them together on the back of my patterned paper, overlapping them at the bottom corner. Next up was that super cute ghost, Bubbles La Boo! I printed her out twice, once on white cardstock and once again on a piece of plaid patterned paper. I colored her, very simply, with my Copic markers and then fussy cut her out. I added her to my card and then started working on her bow. I fussy cut the bow that was printed on the patterned paper, added some Copic coloring to add just a little dimension and then popped it up with some foam tape. I used a sentiment strip for my greeting and added some puffy star stickers and some black doodling to complete my card.

I think she is so cute!!

Christmas Gift Card Holder

 Hi everyone!
I hope you are all doing well!

Today I am popping in with one last (I think) Christmas project for the month of July.
My kiddos are older so buying gifts gets a little more challenging, especially when they prefer gift cards or cash. So I decided to make a cute little gift card holder so that it was a little more festive. This adorable little image from Digi Doodle Studios was perfect for what I had in mind.

I started by creating my fun pocket using an older die from Sizzix called, Pocket w/ Scallop Edge. I can't even remember the last time I used this die but I am glad I kept it cause it was the perfect size! I used some fun and bright green striped paper to create my pocket and set it aside while I worked on coloring the image. I printed out my image, Elf Gift Surprise, onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored it with my Copic markers. Once I had my image colored, I ran it through my Scan N Cut to cut it out. I trimmed down a piece of vellum to fit on top of my pocket and adhered my image to it. I hid some foam tape behind my image so that I could pop up my vellum piece to the front of my pocket. I added some white doodles with a paint pen and added some hemp cording and jingle bells to finish my project.

I added some clear Wink Of Stella to the ornaments and some gold Stickles to the Elf's clothes for a little extra Christmas sparkle!

On the back, I just added a simple little To & From.

Copic Colors Used:
--Skin: E50, E51, E21--
--Hair: E23, E25--
--Greens: YG25, YG17, G07--
--Reds: R27, R29, R39, RV11--
--Yellow: Y26, Y28--
--Cool Grays: C00, C0, C1--

Holly Jolly Christmas

 Hi everyone!
I hope you are all doing well and are able to stay cool, especially with so many areas experiencing heat waves. It has definitely been a hot summer so far in my area.
Even with the heat, I have Christmas on my mind. Could be Christmas in July or maybe I am just dreaming of cooler temps haha!

Here is a look at my latest card that I created, using an oldie but goodie digital stamp from

I love this stamp called, Rattata's Mistletoe from Digi Doodle Studios.
I think it is just the sweetest and I couldn't wait to print it out and get to coloring it with my Copics.
Once I had it colored (I will list the colors used below), I fussy cut it out and set it aside while I built my card. I covered a white A2 cardbase with some red and white striped patterned paper. I die cut a white scallop rectangle and then ran it through my die cutting machine again to create a window using a metal oval die. I popped it up onto my card base with foam tape. I die cut a smaller oval using some vellum,  glued my mouse on top and then popped up the image into the window opening using more foam tape. The foam tape was pretty easy to hide behind the mouse. I decided my card needed a bit of sparkle so I pulled out some red glitter paper and a bow die to create that fun bow that I placed on top of my card. I stamped my sentiment using a stamp from MFT onto a piece of white cardstock, used a sentiment strip to cut it out and added a bit of sparkle behind the sentiment with more of the red glitter paper. I finished my card with some white doodles, a little pearl heart on his hat pin and some glossy accents to his ornament. So pretty!

Copic Colors Used:
--Mouse: E41, E31, E33, E35, E37, R000, R30, R32--
--Holly: YG61, YG63, R39, R27--
--Hat/Scarf: R27, R29, R39, R89, C00, C0--

Happy Summer!!

Hi everyone and happy happy Monday!!
I hope your weekend was fabulous!

Today I am stopping in to share a couple of fun projects to celebrate Summer!
According to the calendar, Summer is officially here June 21 but it has been so hot in my area that I would have thought it was already here!! haha!

Here is a look at my projects...

First up is the adorable little frog from Digi Doodle Studios called Pondside Paradise.
How sweet is she?? I printed her out onto some Copic friendly cardstock, colored her up and used my Scan N Cut to cut her out. I wanted to make a little "beach tote" to house some summer candy, aka Salt Water Taffy so I dusted off my Cricut to cut one out. Once I had my tote cut and assembled, I die cut a Scallop Circle and adhered it to the front of my bag. I die cut another circle, embossed it with a Polka Dot embossing folder, glued it the Scallop Circle and popped up that adorable little frog using foam tape. I used a sentiment strip for my greeting, popping it up with more foam tape underneath the frog. To finish off my little tote, I added a little die cut bow to the handle.

For my next project, I did exactly the same thing as above, just switched out the color of the bag and replaced the frog with and adorable little turtle called, Toby Turtle Tides from Digi Doodle Studios.

How cute is he relaxing and reading a book with his little glass of lemonade??

I filled both totes up with some Salt Water Taffy.
I have a feeling my kiddos will be claiming these haha!!

Here is a look at both bags...

So super cute!!
Be sure to check out the Digi Doodle Studios store, to see all the super cute Summer themed images that were just released earlier this month.

Cast Your Worries Away

Hi everyone and happy Friday!!
I hope you are doing well and have some fun plans for the upcoming weekend!

Today Digi Doodle Studios has a new release with some super cute summer images!
(You can click the advertisement above to be taken to the DDS store to see all of the new images)

Here is a look at the card that I created using one of the new images called,

This image was really the star of the show so that made putting this card together super easy!
I started by covering an A2 top folding white cardbase with some plaid patterned paper. I printed out the Finnley Creek Fisherboy image onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored him with my Copic markers. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut him out, making sure to place the image more towards the top of the die. I added it to my card and placed a strip of patterned paper along the bottom. I printed out the sentiment, popping it up onto my card with foam tape. I completed my card by adding a few white doodles and inking around the perimeter of my card with some dark blue ink.

That image is just the cutest!

I always struggle to make masculine themed cards and I really need to get better at that with having two small grandsons now hehe!

Gnome Matter What...

 Hi everyone and happy Monday!
I hope you had a fun weekend and were able to get in some crafting time!

Today I am stopping by to share a card that I created using a new digital stamp from

Isn't that little gnome the sweetest??

My card was pretty simple to make. I started by creating a white A2 top folding card base and adding a piece of patterned paper that I trimmed down to 4"x5.25" on top. I used some nesting dies to die cut two additional layers from coordinating patterned paper and layered them onto my card as well. I printed out my sentiment, also included in the Gnorman's Flower Wagon, onto a piece of white cardstock. I trimmed down my sentiment and added two scallop pieces behind it, one in yellow and one in vellum, and added it to my card. I printed out Gnorman and colored him with my Copic markers. Once I had him colored, I cut him out using my Cricut and popped him up onto my card with some foam tape. I finished my card by adding a white bow that I made using some hemp cording.

Cute cute cute!!!

Hello My Friend

Hi everyone and happy Thursday!
I hope you are doing well and have some fun plans for the upcoming weekend!

Today I am stopping by to share a card that I created using a new digital stamp from

For my card, I covered the front of a white A2 card with some floral paper and rounded the opposing corners. I used a Stitched Dome Frame die to cut out my white frame, as well as the blue gingham background, and added them to the front of the card. I printed out the Ivy Rose image using some white Hammermill cardstock, cut her out using my Cricut and colored her in with my Copic markers (colors listed below). I added some white polka dots to her bow with a white paint pen & popped her up onto my card with foam tape. I die cut the "hello" from pink cardstock, adhered it with more foam tape and added a sub-sentiment underneath.

I think she is so sweet!
