Happy Birthday (TSOT #604)

Hi crafty friends!

I hope your day is off to a wonderful start!
Today starts a new sketch challenge over on the

Here is a look at the sketch:

(optional theme: use brads/eyelets)

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I started by creating a white A2 cardbase and layering some pink checked patterned paper on top. I cut some strips of polka dotted patterned paper and layered them onto a piece of white cardstock, following the sketch, and added it to my card front with foam tape. Next, I dug into my stash and pulled out this older stamp set from Mama Elephant. I thought these little critters were perfect for this card! I colored them with my Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I popped them up onto my card with more foam tape. I added some enamel dots and a little pink bow to complete my card. I think this turned out so cute and I love that I was able to revisit an older stamp set and use it again :)

Copic Colors Used:
--Bunny: C00, C0, C1, C2, R000, R00--
--Mouse: W0, W1, W3, R000, R00, BG49, RV10, R81, Y13--

Merry & Bright

Hi crafty friends and welcome to my blog!
I have some exciting news to share with you all today!
I have joined the Addicted To Stamps and More Design Team!

Addicted To Stamps and More is a fun biweekly challenge blog that I have enjoyed playing along with and I am so happy to be a part of the team! Yay!!

Today starts a new challenge and it is.....
#407 Christmas!

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I started by creating my sentiment first. I stamped my greeting from MFT and colored in the wording, trying to achieve a Ombre effect, and then framed it with a Square Scalloped Frame Die, also from MFT. I popped it up onto my square card front with foam tape, making sure to add my little bow first. Next, I colored that sweet little reindeer with my Copics and used the coordinating die to cut him out. I added him to the bottom right corner with more foam tape. I completed my card by adding some glossy accents to his little nose, hoofs, bell and the string of lights.

I just love these little Reindeer from Mama Elephant and try to use them as much as I can lol!
Since this card was so simple to make, it would be very easy to mass produce for the holidays. Gotta love that! Not to mention, it is just so cute!!!

Copic Colors Used:
**Sentiment: R27, R29, R59**
**Deer: E40, E41, E44, C6, C8, R29**

Digi Doodle Studios October Challenge!

Hi everyone!
Happy October 1!!
Can you believe it is already October??
Today starts a new challenge over at the

The theme for the month of October is...
Mostly Pink and/or Halloween.

Here is a look at what I created:

I thought it would be fun to create a fun little treat bag filled with some yummy candy on the inside and decorated adorably on the outside. I created my treat bag with some purple cardstock and a die from Mama Elephant. I printed out that adorable little digi stamp from Digi Doodle Studios called Phanty and Friends and colored it with my Copic markers. Once I had my scene colored in, I used a die to cut it out and popped it up with some foam tape onto the front of my bag. I heat embossed my greeting with some white embossing powder onto a piece of black cardstock and popped it up along the bottom of my scene with some foam tape. I added a paper bow to the top and some yellow Nuvo drops to complete my treat bag. I think it turned out so incredibly cute! I just love that little ghost!!

Copic Colors Used:
**Ghost: BG0000**
**Tombstone/Bats: C3, C4, C5, C6, C7**
**Sky: BV0000, BV00, BV02, C00, C0**

Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!
Today I have a super sweet card to share with you that I made with a few challenges in mind.
The challenges that I am entering are:

&

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you all today:

I started by making a white card base and covering the front with some plaid patterned paper. I used a stitched die to cut out a white layer and added some pink stripes to it with some paper scraps. I used a smaller stitched die to cut out a piece of light blue cardstock and then created a little scene with a fence, grass and flowers with more dies. I stamped my greeting from Mama Elephant and then popped up my little outdoor scene with some foam tape. I printed out that adorable girl from Digi Doodle Studios named Heather and colored her with my Copic markers. I cut her out using my Scan N Cut and then popped her up with more foam tape. I completed my card by adding a sweet little butterfly. I think this card is so sweet and that little image just makes me smile! She is just so happy!!

Fall Themed Dex Cards

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday!
I wanted to pop in real quick and share a couple of Dex Cards that I created for a couple of swaps with some crafty friends. They received them yesterday so I can post and share without ruining the surprise for them now lol.

Here is a look at the card that I created for Dardie of Ant Doda's Crafty Corner.

Our theme was Fall Critters and this little stamp from Stamping Bella was perfect! I colored it with my Copic markers and used my Scan N Cut 2 to cut her out. I used my Memory Dex dies from Heidi Swapp to create my card base. I inked some clouds onto the background and free hand cut a tree and added some leaves from a Stamp Anniething Die. I added a hill that I created from the Border Dies 2 from Jaded Blossom as well as a fence from the Halloween Scenic Dies, also from Jaded Blossom. I popped up my image with some foam tape and stamped my greeting from Jaded Blossom's Scarecrow Kisses stamp set. I think it turned out so incredibly cute!!!

My second Dex card was made for Von Marie.

Our theme was Fall so I thought it would be fun to make a giant pumpkin. Nothing screams fall more than Pumpkins and leaves right?? I used the Heidi Swapp Dex Dies for my card base and the Pumpkin die from Mama Elephant. I added some leaves from Lawn Fawn and a green seam binding bow. I completed it with some Nuvo Drops and a greeting from my Creative Time. So cute!!

I'm having so much fun making these little dex cards!
Anyone else out there making them? I would love to see!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a spooktacular night!!
Stay safe and don't eat too much candy :)

Hey crafty friends!
I hope you are having a terrific Thursday!!
Today starts a new challenge over at the

Here is a peek at the cookie inspiration photo for this challenge:

I went with the shower aspect for the inspiration of my card and made an encouragement card.

I created my card base out of some light blue cardstock and placed my polka dot postage frame layer on top. I cut out another piece of the light blue cardstock and added my greeting and some grass. I cut out my clouds from some gray cardstock as well as some vellum, wrapped some crochet thread around it, tied a bow and popped it up with some foam tape. I colored and paper pieced my image, fussy cut it out and added it to my card. I finished it off with some glossy accents "raindrops" in a few spots.

Here is a peek at the cookie inspiration photo for this challenge:

I love all those little critters! They are just the cutest!!

I decided to go with the critter theme and group some together to create a fun little birthday card.

I stamped my critters onto some white cardstock and then colored them in using my Copic markers. I added a little chalk to their cheeks, along with some freckles. I layered that on top of a piece of patterned paper, punch a border with a punch and added to my Kraft card base. I finished off the card with some crochet thread, a bow and some white faux stitching.

I will also be sharing this at

Here is a look at the card that I created:

My darling daughter bought me the Page Huggers stamp and Die set from Mama Elephant for Christmas and I thought this sweet little mouse was perfect for the card I wanted to create. I stamped my mouse and envelope and did some really simple Copic coloring. I used the coordinating dies to cut it out and placed it on my "postage" stamp with some foam tape. I added my greeting and then popped it up onto my card front with more foam tape. I finished off my card with some little heart puffy stickers that I found in the Target Dollar Spot and a little pink bow for my mouse. I think this little mouse is absolutely adorable!

Shopping Our Stash #281

Hey everyone and happy Tuesday!!
It's time for a new challenge over at

This week challenge #281 is....
Gift Card / Gift Packaging

Here is what I created:

This little bag was so simple to create and came together rather quickly. I used a paper bag die to cut out my bag pieces. Before I assembled my bag together, I stenciled on some falling snow with white ink and then clear sparkly embossing powder. I die cut my little winter scene, adhered that to the front of my bag and then assembled my bag. That cute little reindeer was actually colored last year! I never got around to using him so onto my bag he went! I popped him up with some foam tape and added some glossy accents to his little red nose. I heat embossed my greeting and added some wired red tinsel for my handle and the bag was complete!

Inside I was able to fit a gift card and a few pieces of candy:

That little reindeer makes me smile :)

Neglected items from my stash that I used are:

  • Reindeer die cut left over from a previous project
  • Frost White Ink, I always seem to forget about white ink
  • Snow fall stencil (last used last winter)
  • Transparent Embossing Powder. I don't even remember when I purchased it lol

Hey everyone and happy Tuesday!!
It's time for a new challenge over at

This week, challenge #259 is....
Say What?!
(use speech bubbles)

Here is the project that I created:

For my card, I dug into my paper stash and pulled out some patterned paper that I have had for awhile now. Not sure how long I've had it but since I can't remember buying it, I would say somewhere between 6 months and a year, maybe longer lol. Isn't that stamp set the sweetest? My darling daughter bought me the stamps and coordinating dies for Christmas and this is the first time I have used them! Wow huh?  I can't believe I waited so long to use these cuties!!

Happy Birthday

Happy Tuesday!
I hope you are all having a fabulous day!

Today I have a card that I would like to share with you that I made for a couple of challenges.

and

Here is the card that I created based off of the above sketch:

I have had the Three Amigos stamp set from Mama Elephant for quite awhile now and have never used it. I was inspired by Sarah Elliot to finally break it out and use it. Sarah is doing a series on her YouTube channel called Use It or Lose It. Well, her latest video she was using embossing folders but one of her adorable cards used this stamp set and it jogged my memory that I had it lol! I made it my mission to use the stamp set this week. When I ran across the sketch at Retro Sketches, I knew this would be the perfect time to do just that. I stamped my images onto some white cardstock and colored them in with my Copic markers. I used an older 6x6 paper pad for my patterend paper, I thought the stripes went really well with my colored images. I finished off my card with some hemp and a few enamel dots. Super simple but I love how it turned out and I now have another card for my birthday stash. Can never have too many birthday cards right? lol

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my blog!
I really appreciate it!!

I hope you have a great crafty day!

Card Harmony --- Gift Tags with Lawn Fawn & Mama Elephant

Happy Monday!
I hope your weekend was fabulous and that your day is off to a great start!

Today Kimberly and I are back with another Card Harmony post.
Here is a link to my blog post that tells a little bit about what Card Harmony is all about.
We basically take turns purchasing stamps each month and then we both make a card using the same stamp set to see how alike or different our cards turn out. We add a little twist each month though to make it a little more challenging.

This month our twist was to make 4 tags (one tag with each stamp set).

Here is my tag for the Lawn Fawn Winter Alpaca set:

For this tag, I used some embossing paste and the snowfall stencil from MFT to create my snowy background on my blue cardstock. I then used the Scallop Waves Dies from Pink & Main to create my snow hills. I colored that cute little Alpaca from Lawn Fawn with my copics and used the coordinating die to cut it out and popped it up with some foam adhesive. I finished off my tag with a bow cut from the Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow die from MCT and some white ribbon.

The second tag that I created was with the Winter Penguin stamp from Lawn Fawn:

For this tag, I cut out my base from a Spellbinders die, left it in place after it was cut and masked it off a little and did a little inking to create my skyline. I then stamped and colored in that adorable little penguin with my copics and added a few dots to his scarf with my white gel pen. My greeting came from the Oh Snap set from Lawn Fawn. I added a few sequins as well as some glossy accent dots and then added some twine to tie to the package.

For my 3rd tag, I used the Snow Day stamp set from Lawn Fawn:

I once again used a spellbinder die to create my tag base. I added some faux stitching all the way around the green layer with my white gel pen. I stamped the tree and bird and colored them with my copics. I then cut out another tag from white and tore it and added some glitter for snow. I colored the bunny and then fussy cut him out and placed him onto the tag. I finished off my tag by adding some twine and bling to the tree.

For my last tag, I used the Reindeer Games set from Mama Elephant:

For this tag, I used the tag dies from MCT and cut them out twice, once in white and again in red glitter cardstock. I added the word JOY by diecutting it out from a die by Paper Sweeties. I cut out a scalloped circle from red glitter and layered a white circle on top. I stamped that absolutely adorable little reindeer, colored in with my copics and then die cut it out and popped him up with some foam tape. I added a few sequins, ribbon and twine to finish it off.

Be sure to check out Kimberly's blog, Kimberly's Crafty Spot
to see the tags that she made!!
I bet they are fabulous (like all her projects :) )!!

Card Harmony - Chance of Rain

Happy Monday!!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and that your Monday is going well!

Have you guys seen the card series that Ashley and Fern Bainbridge do? They make a card using the same stamp set to see how different or alike their cards turn out. It's pretty cool. Well, my bestie, Kimberly, and I were inspired by them to try this out.

We have a little twist with ours. Each month, Kimberly and I are taking turns buying each other a stamp set. We don't know what is being bought until we receive it in the mail so it stays a surprise until then. Once we receive the stamp set, we get to work on making our card. Sometimes there may even be a little extra challenge. Then on the third Monday of every month, we plan on showing our cards. Our new series will be called, Card Harmony.

For the month of July, Kimberly purchased the stamp set Chance of Rain by Mama Elephant for us to use with the added twist of making an encouragement card and using bright uplifting colors.

Here is the card that I created:

This stamp set has been on my wish list so I was ecstatic to receive it and couldn't wait to play! Thanks Kimberly!! I decided to use the Sunkissed pattern papers from Doodlebug for my card. I love the bright colors in this set!! I colored the skin and hair on my little kiddo and paper pieced the raincoat, boots and umbrella. I embossed my blue layer with a cloud embossing folder and then sanded the edges of the clouds just a little for the white core to show through. I'm so happy with how it turned out and I hope Kimberly enjoys it as well.

Be sure to check out Kimberly's blog, Kimberly's Crafty Spot to see the awesome card that she made!! Here is a little sneak peek of her card:
