Hello crafty friends!!
I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!
Today I am back with another project that showcases some of those awesome

My card is also for the day 1's homework over at the Online Card Class Sparkle & Shine course.

Day 1 was all about glitter. I decided to do the technique that was coloring glitter cardstock with alcohol markers.

I had some left over white glitter cardstock in my stash. I took some BIC markers and just started coloring in diagonal stripes across my paper. I took my Hello Dies and cut out the shadow from the glitter cardstock and the HELLO from some black cardstock. I used the one of the Stitched Rounded Rectangle Dies and adhered my glittery hello to the front. I used the Hello Friend stamp set to stamp the friend under the big hello. I added some polka dot vellum behind my white rectangle and popped it up with some foam tape onto my black card base. I cut a small strip from the left over colored glitter paper and added it along the bottom. I finished off my card with some sequins. I love how sparkly the card is and not a lot of glitter rubs off since I didn't use loose glitter. Win!

You're So Brilliant!

Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are all having a terrific Tuesday 😀

I am currently participating in the new class at Online Card Classes called Sparkle & Shine.

Today (day 2) was all about foiling!
I pulled out my Mini Minc Machine and happily did my homework.

I had some Heidi Swap Minc paper 6x6 paper pads and some little embellishments that I decided to foil up for my card. I created a A2 black card base and used some gold Deco Foil to foil that fun triangle cardstock. I trimmed it down to size and added it to my base. I heat embossed my greeting with some white embossing powder onto a strip of scrap black cardstock and added that to my card. I ran that fun little light bulb through my Minc with more gold foil. I layered it on top of a black circle that was layered on top of some gold shimmery vellum and popped everything up with some foam tape. I finished it off with some sequins.

This is a really bad picture but I wanted to take a close up to try and capture some of the shine that my card has so that you have an idea just how shiny it is.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

A note of thanks

Hey everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Monday!
Tonight I have a card that I would like to share with you that I made for my homework for Day 1 of the Heat Wave Online Card Class

I recently purchased a magazine that had some Altenew rose stamps included with it. I thought today would be the perfect day to break them out so that I could emboss one of the layers with some gold embossing powder.

After I had my rose all inked up and embossed, I put it aside and worked on the rest of my card. I embossed the "thanks" with some gold embossing powder and then used my Swiss Dots embossing folder to emboss the top part of my card layer. I also added some gold embossing all around the edges. I popped up my embossed layer with some foam tape and then also added some foam tape to my rose. I finished off my card with some sequins.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!

I hope you have a great crafty day!

Sheer and Clear Class Day 1

Hey guys! I hope you are having a fabulous Wednesday!
Tonight I have a card that I would like to share with you that I made for my homework for Day 1 of the Sheer and Clear Online Card Class.

I absolutely fell in love with the example that was shown to us by Debby Hughes. Her card was so pretty and elegant and I immediately knew if I could create something similar, it would make the perfect card for my mom for Mother's Day.

Here is what I created:

I kept my card really close to Debby Hughes' card. I love how she attached the vellum with a mini clothes pin. For my card, I used some water color cardstock and put some color down and then misted it with some gold shimmer spray. I then die cut the "mom".  I heat embossed my circle and the "love you" with some white embossing powder and then placed the "mom" underneath. I used a punch to cut out my leaves and then attached everything with the clothes pin, I finished my card with some sequins, some butterflies and some crochet thread. I love how my card turned out!
A big thanks to Debby for the inspiration!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!

I hope you have a great crafty day!

Stretch Your Dies---Day 4

Happy Wednesday!

Today I am back with another card that I made for the
Stretch Your Dies class from Online Card Classes.

Today's class was about getting maximizing your card design and getting two cards by using the negative as well as the positive to create two cards with the same layout yet a different look on each. This technique was shown to us by Kristina Werner.

Here are the cards that I created using this technique:

Stretch Your Dies---Day 3

Happy Tuesday!!

Today I am back with another card that I made for the
Stretch Your Dies class from Online Card Classes.

For my card I used a technique that was shown to us by
Karolyn Loncon, which was masking a die cut to create and scene and then taking the same die cut and using it to dry emboss.

Here is the card that I created:

For my mask, I used the large heart die from the Heart 2 Heart Love Frame set from My Creative Time. I created a little outdoor scene by using some Broken China & Peeled Paint Distress Inks from Ranger and then I used the same die to dry emboss to get that fun stitching around the heart.  I then stamped and colored the little girl using my copics. I fussy cut her out and then popped her up using some foam adhesive.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!

I hope you have a great crafty day!!

Stretch Your Dies--Day 2

Hi!
I'm back with another card that I made for the
Stretch Your Dies online class from Online Card Classes .

This is the card that I made using a technique card "die cuts within a larger die" taught to us by Kristina Werner.

I thought this was going to be really difficult but it was actually quite easy. I had a lot of fun with this card! I even got to watercolor which I love but rarely do. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!

I hope you have a great crafty day!!

Stretch Your Dies--Day 1 (card 2)

Hi everyone!
Me again! I have been so busy that I am trying to play catch up with some blog posts so please forgive me for posting twice in one day :)

I'm back with another card that I made for the
Stretch Your Dies online class from Online Card Classes

Julie Ebersole taught us this super cool technique where we created a on the edge card. This allows you to create a little flap to where one half of your card is actually held shut by the die cut edge.
The die I wanted to use was a little small though so I decided to make a gift card holder instead of an A2 sized card using this technique.

Opened and showing the partial die cutting that creates the "lock":

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look at my latest creation!

I will be back a little later on today to show you another card that I created from the Day 2 lesson.

Stretch Your Dies Online Card Class

Happy Thursday!!

Today I will be posting a couple of cards that I made for the
Stretch Your Dies online class from Online Card Classes

The first card I made was from a technique that Jennifer McGuire showed us. This technique was all about how to get more from your dies by using some fun foam, die cutting it out and then shrinking it to get a slightly smaller word. I thought this was so cool! Often I have wanted to use one of my word dies but it was just a little too big. Now I know a way to make them slightly smaller. :)

For my card, I simply colored my fun foam with a black marker once I shrunk it so that it popped against that sea of white. I added a bit of glitter cardstock to the side along with some hot pink striped paper and finished it off with a few sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!

I will be back a little later on today to show you another card that I created from the Day 1 lesson.
I hope you have a great crafty day!!

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Bonus Day

Hi crafty friends!

Happy Thursday!
Today I have another project to show you that I made for the

This is the card that I created as part of my homework:

For the bonus day, it was all about Color Me Stamps and Stephanie Klauck showed us how to create Mirror Images out of our stamps to stretch them even further. I decided to use this super cute stamp from My Creative Time and create a mirror image of the tree branch so that I could have branches on both sides of my card. I loved trying this technique and I definitely think I will be using it more!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!

This is the tag that I created as part of my homework:

I was so inspired by the tag that Laura Bassen made using the Over The Edge technique that I had to give it a try myself. I loved how she put a pop of black over her vibrant colored background. I am having so much fun in this class!

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 5

Happy Tuesday!!

Today I have another card to show you that I made for the

This is the card that I created as part of my homework:

For my card, I used the technique from Jennifer Rzasa. She showed how to use your distress inks not only to  stamp but to watercolor your image as well. For my rose, I wanted more of a bold vibrant color so with the help of my stamp a ma jig, I was able to keep reapplying the color to the stamp so that I could build lots of layers of ink.

Here is a close up of my flower:

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 4

Happy Saturday!!

Today I have another card to show you that I made for the

This is the card that I created as part of my homework:

I decided to make a Halloween card using the technique that Kristina Werner showed us called
Word Background & Continuous Stamping. I have to be honest, this was my second attempt on this card. It requires a lot of patience to get everything lined up perfectly (not my strong point lol). This card is still far from perfect but overall I am so happy with how it turned out. I am having so much fun learning new techniques in this class!!

Happy Thursday (again)!

I'm back to share with you another card that I made for the

This is the card that I created for my homework for Day 3 of the class.

I was so inspired by this word search technique that Julie Ebersole showed us, that I just had to give it a try.
I decided to make a fun little thank you card to have on hand. I added some hand drawn wavy lines to add a little bit of interest as well as some sequins placed randomly on my card.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 2

Happy Thursday!!

Today I wanted to share with you all 2 cards that I made for the second day of the

For my first card, I used the Ombre Effects Technique that was shared with us by Laura Sterckx.

My card didn't quite end up with the ombre effect that I was looking for but I had so much fun trying out this technique and I think it still came out pretty.

For my second card, I used the technique that Jennifer McGuire shared with us called
Pigment Powder Technique

I loved this technique!! I have had some of those pigment powders in my stash for quite awhile now, (thanks Kimberly!) and never quite knew what to do with them other than making my own spray mist. Now I have a new way to use them and I have a feeling I will be using this technique a lot!
