Make a wish!

Hey crafty friends!

I hope you are having a great Saturday!

I was able to get a little crafting done this morning and was able to make a card for the following challenges:

1. Paper Play Sketches #36

2. Seize The Birthday (no topping)

and

3. Cut It Up #116: Birthday Cards

Here is a look at the card I created:

I cut out that cute little cake from the Smiley Cards Cricut Cartridge and added it to a die cut circle. I stamped my greeting and colored in the "wish" to match the candles and to help tie in some of the yellow. I think it is super simple but super cute!! I love those fun little cricut cuts :)

Ice Cream Cone Birthday Card

Happy Monday! Today marks the beginning of a new challenge week over at Paper Therapy. This week the challenge is to make a card that is a shape other than a circle or rectangle. Here is what I came up with:



I used my gypsy and welded two of the ice cream shadow images from Smiley Cards together at 5". I cut out the layers at 5", did some embossing with my cuttlebug and added some glossy accents to the cheeks and the face. So super easy and I think it came out adorable! Good Monday Morning Everyone! Today marks the beginning of another great challenge over at Paper Therapy. With Thanksgiving near, this weeks challenge is to make a Thank You card or a LO of something you are thankful for. Here is what I came up with for the challenge:



I think this card would be perfect to add a gift card inside to the recipients favorite coffee place. I used Smiley Cards for my tea cup cut at 2". I just left off the top layer that has the actual smiley face on it. I used some glossy accents on the patterned paper to give the look of porcelain. The "steam" is actually a flourish that was turned upside down, stamped and then embossed. The sentiment was actually typed on the computer and then just printed onto my card stock.
