Loads Of Thanks!

It's the weekend! Yay!!

I have a super cute card to share with you today that I created using a new stamp from

 Gerda Steiner Designs called Wash Day.

To create my card, I stamped out the images onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored them with my Copic Sketch Markers. Once I had them colored, I fussy cut them out and set them aside while I worked on my card foundation. I started by creating a 4.25" square shaped card using white cardstock, this size fits into an A2 envelope for easy mailing. I used a square die to cut out a piece of pink patterned paper and popped it up onto my card base with foam tape. Once I had my card front created, I started building my scene using the pieces that I had colored, popping up the kitty image with more foam tape. I stamped the sentiment, also from the Wash Day stamp set, used a die to cut it out and adhered it to my card. I finished my card with a few puffy hearts and some doodles with a white paint pen. 

That kitty sure does look comfy doesn't he? haha!

Sip Sip Hooray!

 Hi everyone and happy Tuesday!

It's my day to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog!

I love having thank you cards in my stash so I decided to make a fun one using some tag dies!

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I wanted to have a gift card holder that also doubled as a card so that a message could be written to the recipient & this one was so super simple to make!

I started by cutting the tag from the Pocket Tag Die out twice from some Kraft cardstock. I cut off the pocket on one of the pieces and then scored along the top so that it would bend once it was attached to the tag with the pocket. I stamped the sentiment from the Coffee & Friends stamp set onto the pocket and added some hearts from the Embellishment Clusters Die. I added a striped scallop using some patterned paper and a die from the Pocket Tag Die to the pocket and a coordinating bow that I cut out using the Bow Dies. I added a couple of white Nuvo drops to complete my card. 

This doesn't even have to be used as a Thank You, it could also be used as a random act of kindness :)

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today...

What a little cutie!!

I made my card by first creating a white A2 top folding card base. I die cut some yarn patterned paper using the Card Mat Dies and adhered that to my card front. I created a tag using the Luggage Tag Dies and placed that on my card with a little liquid glue. I cut a strip of plaid patterned paper, layered that on top of my tag and added a Ric Rak border to the top and bottom by cutting some patterned paper out using the Border Dies. I created that adorable little kitten by using the Gnome Friends: Cat Dies and the Cat Faces stamp set and adhered her to my card. I used the Life Is Tweet stamp and Life Is Tweet Outline Dies for my sentiment, popping it up with some foam tape next to the little kitty. I finished my card by adding a little bow that I created with the Bow Dies, adding a little puffy heart to the center.

You're Flipping The Best!

 Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

It's my day to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog 

and I created a card that would work great for Father's Day or even as a Thank You. 

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I started by covering a white A2 cardbase with some blue toned patterned paper. I used the Rectangle Dies 2 to cut out a piece of plaid paper and glued that to the front of my card. I added a strip of gray cardstock and then doodled around the perimeter of my card. I die cut some white cardstock using the Octagon Dies and popped that up onto my card front with some foam tape. I used the Gnome Dies: BBQ Add Ons to create the little grill and added that to my Octagon panel. I built my little man using the following dies: Gnome Dies, Gnome Dies: Gnome Face Add Ons 1, Gnome Dies: Sport Add Ons 1 (Hat) & the Gnome Dies: BBQ Add Ons (spatula). I added him next to the grill and placed my sentiment above him using foam tape.  I used the Grilling With My Gnomies stamp set and the Grilling With My Gnomies Outline Dies for the sentiment. I added some stars from the Banner Dies and Embellishment Clusters Die onto my card and added a couple of white Nuvo drops for a finishing touch.

Here is what I made:

I decided to make a fun little goody bag to hold some little treats.

I started by creating my box by using the Handled Gift Box Die and some white cardstock. I layered some patterned papers on top and then assembled my box. I built my little bee by using the Gnome Friends: Honey Bee Die and the Bee Faces and popped her up onto my box with foam tape. I die cut the little honey pot using the Gnome Dies: Beekeeper Add Ons and placed that onto my box as well. I stamped my sentiment using the Bee Kind Stamp set, cut it out using the Label Shape Dies 2 and placed it in between my bee and honey pot with foam tape. I used the Bow Dies to create a fun double bow and added that to my handle. I add a little yellow enamel heart to both the sentiment and the bow to complete my box. 

I added a bit of velcro to the inside of the handle for easy opening and closing of the box. 

I am in love with this release, everything is just so cute!

 Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

I created an A2 top folding card using some white cardstock and layered a piece of graph patterned paper on top that I cut out using the Card Mat Dies. I cut another piece of patterned paper from the Card Mat Dies, trimmed it down and added a scallop to the top by using the Border Dies. I added some doodling around the perimeter with a black Micron pen and added a tag that I built using the Luggage Tag Dies, also adding doodling to that. I created my little Nurse using the Girl Gnome Dies, Gnome Dies: Girl Gnome Face Add Ons, Gnome Dies: Hair Add Ons, Gnome Faces and the NEW Gnome Dies: Medical Add Ons. Once I had her built, I added a little blush to her cheeks and glued her to my card front. I stamped my sentiment using the NEW Scrub Life stamp set and cut it out with the NEW Scrub Life Outline Dies. I popped it up with foam tape and added a few enamel hearts and dots. I completed my card with some twine that I threaded through my tag and tied off with a big bow. 

I love the dimension that I achieve by simply popping up just a few pieces of the gnome with some foam adhesive! So cute!

Here is a look at what I created to share with you today:

I decided to make a little gift card holder for a thank you gift.

I used the Tool Stencil, along with some Distress Oxide Inks and created a fun background onto a piece of Kraft cardstock. Once I had everything stenciled the way I liked, I used the Paper Bag Die to cut it out to act as my gift card holder. I used the Fixing Everything Tag Stamp set to create my greeting and used one of the layering pieces from the Milk Carton Die to cut it out. I stamped the stand alone hammer from the Fixing Everything Stamp Set, did some simple Copic coloring and fussy cut it out. I popped up the hammer with foam tape and then popped up my sentiment focal piece with more foam tape onto the front of my paper bag. I finished it off by wrapping some twine around a few times and tying it off with a big bow. 

I cut down a piece of scrap cardstock to fit inside the Paper Bag Die and then used the Gift Card Die to create the stitching and the notches to hold my gift card in place.

Thankful for You

Hi everyone and happy Saturday!

Today I am sharing a card that I made with the one of the new images released this month from 

All Dressed Up Stamps.

 I used the new image titled Toad Stall for my card. I think this is the sweetest image but I say that about all of Wendy's images lol! I just love them all!

I printed my image out onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock, colored it in with my Copic markers & used a border die to create a little scalloped edge at an angle. I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of Kraft cardstock, adhered that to the bottom of my white image panel, wrapped some twine around and popped it all up with foam tape onto my plaid cardbase. I added a couple of stitched clouds and some small circles that I covered with glossy accents to complete my card.

I hope your day is off to a great start!

Today I am sharing a fun card that I created using a new image from

Digi Doodle Studios called Petey!

How cute is this little guy on his shark floatie??

I wanted to create a little scene that appeared as if it was a photograph, kinda like a Polaroid© type of style. At least that was the idea in my head haha!

To create my card, I first started with a white A2 card base & adhered some striped patterned paper on top as well as a strip of orange. I printed Petey onto some white Hammermill Digital Copy paper and colored it in with my Copic markers. Once I had it colored in, I trimmed it out into a square. I outlined the edges with a black marker and then adhered it onto a white rectangle. I stamped my sentiment onto the bottom of my frame and tied some twine around before popping it onto my card with foam tape. I didn't have any enamel dots that matched so I just used a hole punch to punch out 3 circles and added them to the top corner of my card. Once I had them glued down, I simply added glossy accents to give them the appearance of being enamel. Super duper cute!
