Today Is Your Day! (Pink Stamper Challenge)

Hi Everyone! Today's project was made for the challenge over at My Pink Stamper. The challenge theme is: Anything Birthday!

I decided to make a little gift box filled with some M&M's. :)



Yummy huh? :) I used Wild Card and cut out gift box 2 out at 5.25". I put some acetate behind the window and filled with the candy. Then I wrapped some ribbon around the box and tied a bow and added a cute little tag from Elle's Studio. That's it! Easy Peasy!

My Pink Stamper Challenge

Hi! I hope everyone's week is off to a great start! I made this cute little bag for the challenge over at My Pink Stamper. She did a really cool blog hop with her DT, where you found a clue at each stop along the way. I thought this bag would be perfect to put a little gift in.



This cute little purse was made from the Forever Young Cricut Cartridge. I used fit to page and cut it out at 5.25". The Hello Kitty came from Hello Kitty Greetings Cartridge cut out at 2". I put a little bow on the handle, added some dazzling diamonds to Hello Kitty and did some faux stitching around the edge of the purse. I think it came out super cute!

The first one being the sketch challenge over at Mojo Monday (Week 160) and the second one being for My Pink Stamper , make something cute. I think this little bird is adorable and I love the sketch this week over at Mojo Monday, so I decided to combine them. :)

Happy Tuesday! I finally got to craft today! Yay! I hope you were able to as well! I got the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge awhile ago and just never got around to opening it and playing around with it so that was my goal for today. For fun I decided to make a lovey dovey card. I like to surprise my hubby with them every once in awhile and I was running low on my supply so here is what I came up with:




I cut out the couple with the Sweethearts cartridge at 3 3/4". I loved the silhouette look, so I decided to go with that and not cut out the clothes. All in all the card is pretty simple but I just love the look of it. This card was also made for the My Pink Stamper Challenge of "Anything Goes". Winter

Happy Monday! Today's card was made for the challenge over at My Pink Stamper. The challenge was to make a winter card, scrapbook page or other craft item with your cricut. This is what I came up with:



Please excuse the picture. No matter how many times I took it, it just wasn't coming out the way I wanted. I think it may be because of all the metallic papers.

For my card, I used Lacy Labels Cricut Lite cartridge. I used my Gypsy to weld the images to form the shape card at 5". I used DCWV metallic silver for the bottom layer and DCWV metallic light blue for the frame layer. For the snowflakes, I used some white flocking powder to give it a bit of a "snowy" feel. For the phrase, I used Winter from Gypsy Wanderings cut out at 1 1/2" for both the shadow as well as the phrase itself. Added a little bit of outlining with my white signo gel pen and added a white satin bow.

MPS Challenge

Happy Friday! I can't believe it is already July! Summer seems to be flying by! I made this card for the challenge over at My Pink Stamper. Her challenge was to make a project using the colors pink, orange, green and brown. At first I thought this was going to be a really tough one. I don't think I have ever used these colors together before now. I have to say that I love my card though. It came out so bright and summer-y! Perfect for writing a letter to someone this summer. I put no sentiment on it just in case since it can also work as a last minute birthday card. All I will need to do to is stamp a greeting. The best part is this card was made with 100% scraps! Even the base! I cut the Ice Cream out with Doodlecharms Cricut Cartridge at 4" with each color and then just paper pieced them to make it a 3 scoop cone. Thanks for taking a look! MPS Challenge

Hi Everyone! Happy Saturday! Below is the card that I made for the challenge over at My Pink Stamper. The challenge was to make a Father's Day Project. I decided to make a card for my Father-In-Law. I used my gypsy to cut out the "rivetsqr" on page 120 of the All Mixed Up cricut cartridge. I welded in DAD in the plaid paper and then cut out a piece of blue 1/4" bigger to go underneath the top layer. I then put some eyelets in the corners and popped up the greeting with some dimensionals.

Thinking Of You

Here is the card I made for the My Pink Stamper Challenge (Pink, Green and Black). I had so much fun playing along. I have never worked with this color combination before so this was quite the challenge for me, but I think the card came out so cute! I just love it! I wanted Piglet (cut at 4") to hold a flower, so I free hand cut a stem out of my scrap green paper and attached a prima flower to it. Voila!
