Sending Hedge-Hugs!

 Hi everyone!
Happy Wednesday!

I wanted to stop in and share this adorable little winter themed card that I made.

How cute right??
I started by creating my top folding card base using some blue cardstock. I used a scallop rectangle die to cut out a piece of snowflake patterned paper and layered that on top of my card front. I used that adorable little hedgehog die from Spellbinders to create that cute little hedgie, adhered him to a white oval that I had embossed with falling snow, and added that to my card front also. I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock, used a die to cut it out and added that under his little feet, I finished my card by adding some snowflake sequins and some white Nuvo drops.

I think this is just so cute!!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Warm Cocoa Wishes!

 Hi everyone!
I hope your day is off to a fabulous start!
Can you believe we are in December already??
I'm pretty sure that the older I get, the faster time goes by haha!

I wanted to stop in and share a fun little treat pocket that I created for someone,
as well as playing along with a few challenges.

Here is a look at my project...

Super cute right??
This adorable image is called Sophie Mae Christmas and she is a newly released digital stamp from Digi Doodle Studios. As soon as I saw her, I thought she was so incredibly cute and had to have her haha!

Here is how I created my cocoa holder...

I started by creating my base by using an envelope die from Jaded Blossom, scoring the sides and bottom to create a "box/pocket" and cutting off the top flap from the envelope that would end up being in the front. I don't really remember the exact measurement of the score lines, I placed my cocoa packets on top and scored accordingly. Before gluing the box together, I adhered my patterned paper to make it a bit easier.
I printed out Sophie Mae Christmas onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored her in with my Copic markers. Once I had her colored, I fussy cut her out and added some white flocking powder to her little hair pom. I decided to add a little more dimension, so I printed her out again, colored her mitten and coffee cup, fussy cut it out and added to that my image with foam tape to give a little 3D look to the image. I die cut a scallop circle and layered my sentiment underneath, adding both to the front of my pocket. I popped up my image with more foam tape and added some snowflake sequins and Nuvo drops around her. I finished my project by creating a double bow and adding some festive bells to the center.

Copic Colors Used:
--Skin: E50, E51, E21--
--Hair: E31, E33, E35, E37--
--Outfit: C00, C0, C1, G40, G43, G46--

A Latte Warm Winter Wishes!

Hi everyone and happy happy Friday!! Yay!!
I'm popping in today to share a super sweet winter themed card.

Here is a look at my card...

How sweet is that little snowman from Digi Doodle Studios
I printed him out onto some white Hammermill cardstock, cut him out using my Scan N Cut and then colored him in with my Copic markers. I set him aside while I worked on my card design. I created a white A2 top folding card and layered two pieces of paper on top that I had die cut out with a stitched rectangle die. To give the layers a bit of separation, I added a thin strip of green paper in between. I die cut a scallop rectangle and added that to my card, trying to center it as best as I could. I stamped my greeting underneath with some black Versafine ink. I popped up my image, Cocoa Charlie Freeze Snowman, with foam tape and added some white details with a white paint pen. I finished my card by adding some snowflake sequins, pearls and white Nuvo drops.

I think this is so cute!

Copic Colors Used:
--Snowman: B0000, N5, YR14, R00--

Let It Snow with The Greeting Farm!

 Hi everyone and happy Tuesday!
I am back to share one last post as September's Guest Designer for The Greeting Farm!
A huge thank you to The Greeting Farm for having me! It has been an absolute privilege!

For my card today, I wanted to use one of the new stamps released this month, Holiday Anya 13.
Here is a look at what I created...

I think she is just the cutest...and her little companion?? Cutest penguin ever!!
I decided to go with more of a winter themed card and it was super easy to do, just by simply changing up the sentiment. I stamped my image from the Holiday Anya 13 onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored her in with my Copic markers. I decided to do a little paper piecing, so I stamped her onto 2 pieces of patterned paper scraps so that I could give a little interest to her jacket, skirt and hair bow.

Copic Colors Used:
Skin: E50, E51, E21, R20
Hair: YR20, E31, E33, E35
Headband/Boots/Jacket Fluff/Mitten: C00, C1, C2, BG57, BG49, RV34
Penguin: V12, V15, V17, C00, C0, C1, C2, C3, C4, C6, R00, YR21

I cut her out using the Scan N Cut and set her aside while I worked on my card.
I created an A2 top folding card and covered the front with some light blue patterned paper and added a "snowy" hill. I cut a piece of striped patterned paper out using a scallop rectangle die and then created an opening in the middle. I stamped my sentiment using an older stamp set titled, Let It Snow* onto a piece of white cardstock and used the same dies to cut it out so that it would layer perfectly onto my striped panel. I popped up my striped panel with foam tape and added my Holiday Anya 13 with more foam tape to create a little dimension in my scene.

*While Let It Snow is currently not available at the moment, it can be requested for a future Farmers Market using the Contact Page on the store site.

I completed my card with a few snowflake sequins and some white Nuvo drops!
I think they are both so adorable!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

I just can't get enough of these adorable penguins!
To make my card, I actually started with the Winter Sparkle Stencil. I used the stencil and some white embossing paste to create my background onto a piece of light blue cardstock. While the embossing paste was wet, I sprinkled a light dusting of glitter on the top so that it could dry onto the embossing paste and not come off so easily. I set that aside to dry and started building my little penguin, using the following products: Gnome Friends: Penguin Die, Penguin Faces and the heart from the Banner Dies. Once my background was dry, I cut it down and placed it onto a white A2 cardbase. I built some little snow hills using the Border Dies 2 and some white glitter cardstock. I built my lamp using the Street Lamp Die and the Street Lamp Die: Winter Add Ons, tucking it between the snowy hills. I added a frame from the Rectangle Internal Scallops and added my little penguin to the card. I stamped my greeting from the Penguin Kisses & used the Penguin Kisses Outline Dies to cut it out and popped it up with some foam tape. So cute!

Here is a look at the sets being showcased today:

Snowflake Kisses!

Hi everyone & happy October!!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom blog!!
This month is a Color Challenge.
We would love to see your projects that use some Cool Colors (Purple, Green, Blue) and of course some of those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps/dies!

Challenge Guidelines:
1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back linking
2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp, die, or stencil somewhere on it.
3) Only one entry per person

Here is a look at the card that I created for the challenge:

I used the Postage Dies to cut out a piece of white glitter cardstock and layered a piece of plaid patterned paper inside. I die cut a piece of purple patterned paper using the Rectangle Dies 2 and adhered that to my plaid paper. I stamped my sentiment from the Winter Wishes (revamped) stamp set onto a strip of white cardstock and added that to the bottom of my plaid layer. I wrapped some crochet thread around to help divide the layers before popping my panel up with foam tape onto a white A2 top folding card. I die cut a snowflake using some white glitter cardstock and the Large Snowflake Die and popped it up with more foam tape. I added some small gems to my snowflake for even more sparkle.

I love all the dimension and sparkle!

Coldest of Days

 Hi everyone!!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!
Today starts a new challenge over at the Di's Digi Designs Challenge Blog! Yay!
You don't need to use a Di's Digi image or even a digital stamp to enter the challenge though, as long as you follow the theme. You can find more about the rules and requirements on the challenge blog.

The challenge that started today is....
Celebrate Winter

Here is a look at the project that I created:

To create my card, I started with an A2 cardbase that I created using white cardstock. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out some patterned paper and adhered that to the card front. I die cut my snowy background paper using a scalloped rectangle and adhered that as well. I printed out the Izzy's Snowy Day image from Di's Digi Stamps onto some white Hammermill cardstock and colored it with my Copic markers. I printed the image a second time so that I could do a bit of paper piecing on the umbrella for a little visual interest. I stamped my sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock and added that to my card towards the bottom. I fussy cut my image out and popped it up with some foam tape. I completed my card with a few snowflake sequins and white Nuvo drops.

Copic Colors Used:
--Skin: E50, E51, E21, R20, R00--

Friends Warm The Coldest of Days

Hi crafty friends and happy Wednesday!
Today I am popping in real quick to share a card that I made using some stamps that are a bit older but never out of the package. I'm trying to make it my goal to actually use more of what I have this year and to maybe buy less? hahaha! Hey, I said try!

To create my card, I started with a white A2 cardbase and added a white scallop frame with foam tape on top. I added some patterned paper and then started working on my scene. I created my little scene using some stamps from C.C. Designs and some dies from Lawn Fawn (hills) and MFT (tag). Once I had everything arranged like I wanted, I popped up my tag with more foam tape onto the front of my card. I added some sparkly twine, some snowflake sequins and some white Nuvo drops for my finishing touches.
Aren't they so cute??

Copic Colors Used:
--Snowmen: B0000, B000, R00, YR12, E23, E21--
--Hat: R81, C00, C0, C1--

Warm Friendships

 Hi everyone!

I hope your day is off to a wonderful start!
Have you heard the news? Ink N Splatter is now hosting monthly challenges in their FB group!!
Yay!!
This month is anything goes using Ink N Splatter stamps with the optional theme of a color challenge.

Here is a look at the card that I created:

It is so hot in my area, that as soon as I saw all those blues, my mind went to winter. Maybe it's wishful thinking? Although I'm sure when it is super cold, I will be wishing for warmer days again. It's a never ending cycle lol!

I decided to make a mini slimline and use these adorable penguins from the Winter Holidays Penguins Clear Stamp Set from Ink N Splatter. I pulled out some light blue patterned paper from the On The Pond 6x6 Paper Pad and rounded all four corners. I created a little snowy scene by using some dies from Crafters Companion and popping up the front layer with foam tape before adding my scene to my white mini slimline card base. I stamped those super cute penguins using some Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with my Copic markers. Once I had them colored in, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I positioned them onto my card around my sentiment, using more foam tape for the middle penguin for even more dimension. I completed my card by using some snowflake sequins as well as one of my favorite embellishments...crochet thread.

Copic Colors Used:
--Penguins: C00, C0, C2, C4, C6, YR12, YR14--
--Outfits: B000, B01, B41, YG63, YG25, YG05, B91, BG72, BG75--

If Kisses Were Snowflakes...

Hi friends!
 Happy February!
I hope you are all doing well!

Since it is the first of the month, it is time for a new challenge at

Here is a look at the photo inspiration for this month:

The picture is for inspirational purposes so if the picture doesn't strike your fancy, you can enter a WINTER themed project. The picture is purely optional.

Here is a look at the card that I created:

How cute is that little snowman! He just makes me smile so much! I was inspired by the pop of red against the snow in the inspiration photo and this card just fell into place. I started by using some glittery texture paste and a snowflake stencil to create some background paper. While that was drying, I stamped my little snowman and colored him with my Copic markers. I stamped my sentiment onto a smaller piece of cardstock and lightly inked around the perimeter with some Stormy Sky Distress Ink. I adhered it to a piece of red patterned paper, that I die cut out using a postage frame die. I wrapped some thread around, tying it off with a bow, and added it to my snowflake background. I did some more inking around the perimeter before adding the entire panel to a white card base. I completed my card by adding my little snowman along with some snowflake sequins and Nuvo drops. I think it turned out so cute!!

Copics Used:
--Snowman: B0000, B000, YR14, YR16, E35, R20, R00--
--Hat & Scarf: R56, R29, R27, R24, C00, C0, C2--

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you will head over to The Four Seasons Challenge Blog
to see what my DT Sisters created and create a project to play along!
I can't wait to see what you create!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Winter Wonderland Wishes

Hi friends!
Happy Happy 2022!!!!
I hope this new year brings you all health & happiness!!

I loved all the snow in the inspiration photo so I decided to create my own little scene on a mini slimline style card. I even managed to use a couple of different stamp sets that I have had for awhile and never used! Yay me! One of my goals this year is to buy less and use more of what I have, or at least try to haha!

I started my card by creating my mini slimline from some white cardstock and covering it with some diagonal striped patterned paper. I die cut a white scalloped rectangle and adhered that to my card front and added some snowy patterned paper on top. I stamped my little snowman, masked him off, and then stamped my background scene onto a piece of copic friendly cardstock. Once I had it colored, I stamped my greeting along the bottom and fussy cut around the trees and snow drift so that I could pop up my scene with some foam tape onto the front of the card. I completed my card by adding some Frosted Lace Stickles to the snow in front of the houses and a few random White Nuvo Drops to add a little more visual interest for the snowy scene.

Copic Colors Used:
--Trees: YG03, YG05, YG61, YG63, G94, G46, E25--
--Houses: E23, E25, E49, N3, N5, Y11--
--Snow on the ground: B0000, B00--
--Snowman: B0000, YR14, C7, V01, V05, V06--
