Hello Summer!!

Happy Tuesday!!

Today I have a easel card to share with you that features one of those adorable

I found some lemonade patterned paper in my stash and thought it went perfectly with this turtle sipping on her lemonade.

Thanks so much for looking at my latest creation!

Project 3 for the Scrappy Moms Stamps June Release

Happy Wednesday!!

Today I am back with a project that showcases a greeting from one of the new stamp sets from the Scrappy Moms Stamps June release.

I decided to make a center step card and use that sweet little greeting from the new
Writing On The Wall stamp set.

To make my card base, I simply followed a tutorial from Split Coast Stampers. After I had my card base ready to go, I added some fun patterned papers. I found this cute little bear sleeping on the moon in the silhouette store and thought it went perfectly with the little icons on the greeting. The Writing On The Wall stamp set has so many cute sayings and I love that some of them even have little pictures/icons that can be colored in for just a little pop of color. I colored in the moon, stars and little heart on my greeting incorporating some of the colors found on my patterned paper.  I love that little extra touch.

Here is a complete look at the new stamp sets that were released this month.

Pirate Treat Box

Happy Monday!
I hope you had a fabulous weekend :)

Today I am back with another project that I created for the
Scrappy Moms Stamps June Release
using a sentiment from the new stamp set called:

I thought this little pirate ship treat box from the Silhouette store was so darn cute!! As many of you know from reading my blog, my hubby loves candy so I make him little boxes to surprise him with from time to time. This was so simple to put together. After I cut out the box, I stamped the black sail with some versamark ink and then heat embossed my sentiment underneath the cardstock skull & crossbones with some white embossing powder. How cute is that greeting from the Anchors Away set?? It was perfect for this little box and my hubby loved it :)

Here is the first card that I created for this release using a new stamp set called:

Ok, I just have to tell you that I love love love this new Anchors Away set!! I love all things nautical so this set is right up my ally! For this card, I found this cute little sailboat in the Silhouette store and thought it would pair up perfectly with that super cute greeting! I decided to add a fun little border by using a border die to cut out a fun wavy pattern out of some patterned paper and putting that going up the side of my card. I then took my white gel pen and added some faux stitching around the light blue cardstock layer as well as the bottom half of the sailboat. For my greeting, I stamped it onto some white cardstock and then notched out one end so that it resembled a banner. I did some faux stitching on that with a red marker and then popped it up with some foam tape for a little bit of dimension. I finished off my card with a few homemade enamel dots.

Here is a complete look at the sets being released today:

Hey Sweetie!

Hey everyone and happy Thursday!!
It's almost the weekend! Woo Hoo!!

Today I have a simple little treat/gift bag to show you that features a sweet little bear from

I cut my bag out of a file that I found in the Silhouette store. I ran my blue cardstock layer through my cuttlebug using a cloud embossing folder. I then took a nail file over the raised clouds to bring out some of the white core in the cardstock. I took some green cardstock and used a grass die and adhered that onto the bottom of the blue cardstock. I then attached that layer onto my bag. I cut out that cute little bear from the Yummy Treat Bears and started assembling her. I used a mesh texture embossing folder for the cone and then inked with some distress ink. I added a little enamel dot to the center of her flower and some glossy accents onto the cherry as well as her nose. I finished off the bag with a sweet little greeting from Scrappy Moms Stamps and tied it closed with some fum polka dot ribbon.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!

I hope you have a great crafty day!

For my card, I used the In-Line Sentiments to stamp my greeting across the bottom of  my blue layer. I then cut out a little banner shape from the Silhouette store and added that cute little puppy from KaDoodle Bug Designs. I attached some ribbon across the top of the banner and added a little bow, button and some Trendy Twine. I finished off my card with some white gel pen doodling, wink of stella clear on the gifts and some glossy accents to the puppy's nose.

A Simple Hello

Happy Sunday!!

I hope you are having a great weekend!

Today I am here to show you a simple card that uses a bit of fun and bright tape from Love My Tapes for a bit of interest.

This card was so simple to put together! I started out with a white card base and added a yellow layer on top. Finished with another white card stock layer on top and some die cuts. I added a bit of the Hot Pink Stripes washi along the side for a bit of interest and to help tie in the pink of the die cut.

Just Because

Happy Saturday!!

I hope your weekend is off to a great start!

Today I am here to show you a really simple card that uses some super fun and bright tape from

When I saw this little stamped image from Stampendous, I knew it would be perfect to use alongside some of that fun Lime with Polka Dots washi tape. They coordinated so perfectly with each other with the polka dots. I simply added two strips of the Lime with Polka Dots washi along one side of my white cardstock and then added some ribbon and adhered that panel to my card base. I then stamped my image and greeting onto another piece of cardstock and colored with my copics. I then backed that onto some gray cardstock and popped that up with some foam adhesive, Super simple but I think it is so sweet.

Here is a closer look at the Lime with Polka Dots tape:

Hello Easel Card

Hi crafty friends!!
I hope you are all having a wonderful evening!

I wanted to pop in real quick and show you all a card that I just finished for the challenge that is going on over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.

The challenge is to make an easel card and also incorporate an image from Tiddly Inks.

Here is what I created for the challenge:

I have been participating in the Daily Marker 30 Day Color Challenge 2 and have been coloring up a storm. I am just now learning how to color with Copic Markers so I have been practicing, practicing, practicing! haha! When I saw this image in the Tiddly Inks store, I knew I had to have her. She is so darn cute!! I was also able to use up some more of my flowers from my stash. I have tons and rarely use them so I have been trying to be better with that.

Here is a side view of my card so that you can see how it stands.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look at my latest creation!

Put Your Toes In The Sand

Hi Crafty Friends!!

Today I have a summer themed card to show you that features a super cute little boy with his toes in the sand from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

I used the Summer Beach Fun set to cut out that cute little boy in the sand, the beach ball, the pail and the sun & clouds. For the sand, I added a little bit of Cinnamon Stickles and then just spread it out with a cheap paintbrush. I love the little extra bit of sparkle that gave. I love the shimmer sand has when the sun hits it just right.

I will be entering this card into the challenge at:

Terrific Tuesday -- Dad Rocks!!

Happy Tuesday!!!

Today marks the beginning of a new challenge over at the Scrappy Moms Stamps blog!

Photobucket

The theme for this Terrific Tuesday Challenge is:
Dad Rocks!!
Let's see some projects in honor of all those great dads you may know.

Here is the card that I created for the challenge:

My daughter is a HUGE Marvel fan so when I asked her what type of card I should make for her to give for Father's Day, her first response was a superhero card. After she looked through my files, she decided this cute little Captain America from SVGCutting files was indeed the image for the card. After he was all assembled, I went looking on pinterest and found this great card sketch from Seize The Sketch #4.  After I found the perfect sketch, putting together the card was so super easy ;) Scrappy Moms Stamps had the perfect greeting to go along with my card as well! This greeting from the Fan-tastic set was so fitting!

Here is a complete look at the fun greetings on the Fan-tastic set:

I can think of so many cards to go along with these greetings!! Can't you?? So fun!!

BBTB2 -- Anniversary

Happy Monday!
It is time for another great challenge over at the

This theme for this week is:
Wedding/Anniversary

Here is the card that I created for the challenge:

I kept my card pretty simple. I love the look of cards that are primarily white! They just remind me of elegance. I simply used a embossing folder for my top layer and then added the greeting into the center. The greeting came from my Sweethearts cricut cartridge. To finish off my card, I added some pearls at each corner and some flowers that have been in my stash for quite some time now. I'm trying to get better at using those up and not letting them just sit and this card was perfect for that.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
