Happy Summer!!

Hi everyone and happy happy Monday!!
I hope your weekend was fabulous!

Today I am stopping in to share a couple of fun projects to celebrate Summer!
According to the calendar, Summer is officially here June 21 but it has been so hot in my area that I would have thought it was already here!! haha!

Here is a look at my projects...

First up is the adorable little frog from Digi Doodle Studios called Pondside Paradise.
How sweet is she?? I printed her out onto some Copic friendly cardstock, colored her up and used my Scan N Cut to cut her out. I wanted to make a little "beach tote" to house some summer candy, aka Salt Water Taffy so I dusted off my Cricut to cut one out. Once I had my tote cut and assembled, I die cut a Scallop Circle and adhered it to the front of my bag. I die cut another circle, embossed it with a Polka Dot embossing folder, glued it the Scallop Circle and popped up that adorable little frog using foam tape. I used a sentiment strip for my greeting, popping it up with more foam tape underneath the frog. To finish off my little tote, I added a little die cut bow to the handle.

For my next project, I did exactly the same thing as above, just switched out the color of the bag and replaced the frog with and adorable little turtle called, Toby Turtle Tides from Digi Doodle Studios

How cute is he relaxing and reading a book with his little glass of lemonade??

I filled both totes up with some Salt Water Taffy.
I have a feeling my kiddos will be claiming these haha!!

Here is a look at both bags...

So super cute!!
Be sure to check out the Digi Doodle Studios store, to see all the super cute Summer themed images that were just released earlier this month.

Cheers to another year!

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful day!

I wanted to pop in real quick today and share the card that I made for my Son-In-Law's birthday.

Masculine cards are always so hard for me to make but I think this fun box card from SVGCuts was perfect!
It was really easy to put together and he seemed to really like it, so win, win!!

I used some older patterned papers from DCWV and used my Cricut to write the sentiment onto the banners so that it fit perfectly and I didn't have to worry about stamping letters straight lol!

I would like to also play along with the following challenges:

My Favorite Place...

Hi everyone!

I'm so excited to be back to share another project with you
as a guest designer for Gerda Steiner Designs!!

Today I am sharing a card that I made using one of the new stamp sets that released this month called
There are 3 adorable images in the Cats & Boxes stamp set, along with 6 great sentiments.

I knew I wanted to make a card for my hubby as soon as I saw these two little kitties next to each other in their box. So cute!
I started by covering my white A2 cardbase with some striped patterned paper. Next, I cut out my white panel using my Cricut to cut out a big heart in the center. I wanted the striped paper to show through the center of the heart as well as a small bit on each side of the card. I popped up my heart panel with foam tape and drew some doodles around the perimeter with a black Micron pen. I stamped my image using some black Memento ink and colored it with my Copic markers. I fussy cut it out, stamped my sentiment onto the front of the box & popped it up with more foam tape into the center of my heart. I added some hearts that I cut out using various punches and dies that I have in my stash. I completed my card with a tiny little pink bow and some white Nuvo drops.

Copic Colors Used:
--Cats: C0, C1, C2, C3, C4, C6, R00, R20--
--Box: E41, E42, E43, E44--

You Color My World

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous day so far!

I have a sweet & simple card to share with you that I created with a new clear stamp from

Isn't she darling??
I found an "ink splat" in Cricut Design Space that I liked and used the shape tool to slice a heart into the center. I cut it out using some patterned paper from the new Painted Crush 6x6 Paper Pad and added it to a piece of white cardstock that I trimmed down to 3.75"x5". I used a few different ink blending brushes and lightly inked around the edges using the ink that was left on the brushes from previous projects. (I'm terrible about cleaning them). I stamped my greeting, also from the Little Artist Kiki Stamp set, towards the bottom and popped up my panel with foam tape onto a white card base. I colored Little Artist Kiki with my Copic markers, used the Coordinating Die to cut her out and popped her up with more foam tape. I finished my card with some glossy accents on the paint palette and some little colored gems on the paint splatter. So cute!!

Copic Colors Used:
**Skin: E50, E51, E21**
**Pants/Shoes: E41, E42**
**Hair: E42, E55, E23**

Happy Birthday Gnomie!

Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having a fabulous day!

Today I am sharing a fun birthday themed card that I created using a clear stamp set from Ink N Splatter titled, Party Gnome Celebration.

Fun right? I started by creating my card base from some Cilantro green cardstock and adhered a piece of Blue Jay cardstock on top. I die cut a frame from some patterned paper using a metal die and placed it over my blue panel. I used my Cricut to cut out my sentiment and popped it up onto my card with some foam tape.  I colored that adorable little Party Gnome with my COPIC markers and used the coordinating die to cut him out & placed him on my card with more foam tape. I decided I wanted a few more balloons so I stamped the image again, used the dies and trimmed away the parts I didn't want with scissors and placed them on the opposite side of the card. I completed my card with a few sequins and Nuvo drops. Adorable!

Copics Used:
**Skin: E000, E00**
**Hair: T0, T2, T4, T6**
**Outfit: B21, B24, B26, C00**
**Boots: T4, T6**

Hello Fall!

 Hi friends!
I hope you are having a fabulous day!
Today I have a card to share with you that I made with a few challenges in mind.
The challenges that I will be playing along with are:
&

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I had so much fun creating this card! I started by adding some layers (kraft scallop and patterned paper) onto an A2 white cardbase. Next, I stamped my images from the Happy Fall stamp set from Gerda Steiner, colored them with my Copic markers and fussy cut them out. I very lightly inked around a white cardbase with some residual ink left on my ink blending brushes in blue and brown and starting building my scene. I used my Cricut to die cut my greeting and added my little squirrel and tree stump. Once I had those elements adhered, I started randomly adding my leaves and acorns. I tied a hemp twine bow to my card base before popping up my image panel onto my card with foam tape. I completed the card by adding just a few little Nuvo drops to the bottom for a little interest.

Copic Colors Used:
**Squirrel: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E04, R30**
**Tree Stump: E31, E33, E35, E37**
**Leaves: G21, G94, E31, E35, R17, R56, Y17, Y38, YR14, YR18**
**Acorns: E31, E37**

~ Coffee ~
Let's see some Cricut inspired Coffee projects!
*Your project must include a cut made with your Cricut machine on it somewhere*

Here is a look at the project that I created to share with you today:

I love making these fun little coffee themed caddy's at the holidays! They make the perfect little neighbor or co-worker gift and they are really easy to do. I started by cutting my caddy, from SVGCuttingFiles, using some Kraft cardstock and then covering it with some Christmas themed patterned paper. I cut an oval from Gypsy Wanderings and stamped my sentiment into the center. I popped it up onto the front of my caddy with foam tape and then added some flowers that I cut out using the Lacy Labels cartridge. I added some leaves that I cut out using a punch and some berry sprigs that I cut out using a metal die. I added some red Nuvo drops to my berry sprigs and some gems to my flower centers. I used some dies from My Creative Time to create my bow and then I added a little bell to the center before adhering it to my handle.

I love these little mini coffee cups! (I purchased mine from Amazon). I wrapped them with some coordinating patterned paper and then placed a K-Cup and a soft peppermint into each cup. I added some crochet thread around the lid, added a bell and then tied it into a bow to finish my cups. Voila! Super easy but I think it is oh so cute and everyone always seems to really love them!

Thanksgiving
Let's see some Cricut inspired Thanksgiving projects!
*Your project must include a cut made with your Cricut machine on it somewhere*

Here is a look at the project that I created to share with you today:

I recently purchased some little dry erase boards from the Dollar Tree and I thought it would be neat to create a little home decor item with one of them using some scrap vinyl. I found this greeting framed with Fall items in Cricut Design Space and knew it would be perfect! I cut it out three times, using orange vinyl, a light tan vinyl and a gold metallic foil vinyl. I weeded each color, only leaving certain items in each, and then transferred everything onto my dry erase board. I felt like it still needed a little something so I added a few random Nuvo drops in Dark Walnut to add a little interest.

It is so much prettier in person.
I had such a hard time getting the camera to pick up the gold metallic.

I'm not much of a football fan but my hubby sure is so I thought it would be fun to make him a little box filled with some snacks to eat while he watches a game.

I started by cutting a popcorn box from Tags, Bags, Boxes & More from some green cardstock and inked along all the edges before assembling it. I cut a football from the Life's A Party cartridge and popped it up with some foam tape. I added my saying that I found in Design Space above the Football and finished the look with some white and brown Nuvo drops. I added some white crinkle paper and some of his favorite snacks and called it good! So easy peasy but he will love it!!

I love Fall and everything that comes along with it, especially pumpkin spice everything! Yup! I'm one of those people obsessed with Pumpkin Spice. LOL! I wanted to make a little treat bag and fill it with some pumpkin flavored candy to give to someone who is just as crazy as I am when it comes to pumpkin everything. Cricut to the rescue! I started by creating my bag from Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2 using some Kraft cardstock and inking along all the edges. Next, I cut out some Stacked Pumpkins that I found in Design Space, popped them up onto my bag with foam tape and added a strip of grass from Sports Mania along the bottom. I added some candy to the inside, tied my bag shut with some ribbon and then added a little tag that I attached to the ribbon with some hemp twine. I completed my bag with some little rhinestones and some shimmer on the pumpkin vine and leaf.

 🎃 Halloween!! 🎃
Let's see some Cricut themed Halloween projects!
*Your project must include a cut made with your Cricut on it somewhere*

Here is a look at the project that I created to share with you today:

My kiddos are grown and definitely do not Trick Or Treat anymore but I still love spoiling them (and the hubby) with some fun treats throughout the month. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays to craft for!  I normally have so many fun little boxes and such made, that my family ends up taking a lot of them to work for their coworkers lol! Anywho, this little box was so fun to make! I started by cutting my Peeping Ghost in Pumpkin box from SVGCuttingFiles and using the contour function to hide the cuts for the Ghosts face. Once I had my pieces all cut out, I used a stamp from Peachy Keen to stamp his little face and assembled my box. I loved how it turned but felt it was missing just a little something so I thought it would be fun if he was holding a little sign. I stamped out BOO onto a piece of green patterned paper and adhered it to the a strip of Kraft cardstock. I carefully lifted his little hand and adhered my sign, adding a little hemp bow for a little extra touch of cuteness.

I placed some black crinkle paper shred into the box and added a few pieces of candy.
Cute cute cute!!!

Let's see some Cricut themed 3D projects!
*Your project must include a cut made with your Cricut on it somewhere*

Here is a look at the project that I created to share with you today:

I am definitely in the Halloween crafting spirit so I decided to make a fun little Halloween 6 pack. I started by cutting my little nugget caddy using a file from SVGCuttingFiles called, Nugget Caddy Box from some orange cardstock. Next, I sized the Ghost Border (#M3D21CA) that I found in Cricut Access to fit along the front of my box. Side note: that little ghost ended up only being about .75" tall! I used a metal die to cut out my little bow, added it to the top with my sentiment and finished it with a button and some crochet thread.

This little caddy fits 6 chocolate nugget candy pieces. 3 in the front and 3 in the back.

I wrapped the candy with with some coordinating paper for a more finished look.

Here is a look at the project that I created to share with you today:

I found this fun candy bar wrapper in Cricut Design Space. There are actually a bunch of designs for different occasions as well as different size candy bars, but I chose to go with this fun pencil that accommodates a long chocolate bar. This was really simple to put together! I loaded my papers onto my mat and the Cricut pretty much did all the work. After I had my pieces assembled, I added a sentiment to the front, a few doodles with a black and white pen, and a fun polka dotted bow.

I think this would be so fun to put into a lunch box for a yummy surprise!
