Porthole with CANDi

Hi everyone!

Today I get to show you another project using 

that awesome CANDi!

I decided to make this fun little no occasion  card to send to someone.

For my rivets on the porthole, I used some of that awesome CANDi!

One of the great things about CANDi is that they give your projects dimension without all the bulk.

That is great for saving yourself some money when it comes to postage :)

Hello Friend!

Hi everyone!

Today I get to show you another project using 

that awesome CANDi!

I decided to make a fun little card to send to a crafty friend.

I stamped that adorable little image and then popped her up on some foam adhesive.

I added a satin ribbon bow and the finished the bow off with a flower made out of some 

Craftwork Card CANDi. I also added some CANDi to the top left of my card.

Covent Garden is so pretty with it's subtle gold metallic stripes!

I got to play with the Vintage Chic Wreath Kit:

For my project, I decided to make the wreaths into some little picture frames.

I simply made the wreaths as instructed in the kit, then used some adhesive and attached photos of my children behind each one. I added some Polka Dots Sugar Frosting CANDi to the centers of my flowers and used some glimmer mist to add a little sparkle to them as well.

I love all the pastel colors mixed with the shades of browns on the flowers in this kit!

Altered Birdhouse

Hi everyone!

Today I get to show you another project that uses that awesome

Craftwork Cards CANDi!

For my project, I decided to alter a birdhouse for a cute little home decor item.

I found this little birdhouse at my local craft store for $1.

It was unfinished wood, so I simply painted it white with some acrylic paint and let it dry. Once it was dry, I started embellishing. I added some patterned paper to the roof and then to cover the seam going down the middle, I simply added a piece of white cardstock that I folded in half and used a border punch to give it a decorative edge. Then I added some lace and string pearls to the front of my roof. I also added some pearls all along the bottom edge of the house. Then I simply punched out 3 butterflies and layered them on top of each other to give some dimension and added a flight trail with some glitter. For my finishing touch, I made that cute little flower using some Patchwork CANDi and added some leaves from a leaf punch.

I decided to make a fun little card that would be perfect for a little girl.

I found this card shape in the Silhouette online store and it is called, Emma Dress Card. 

I simply cut it out using some Stampin' Up designer papers, added a little ribbon and bow to the waist and then accented with some of that glorious CANDi.

Today I get to show you another fun card using that awesome

Craftwork Cards CANDi!

I decided to make a fun little clean and simple card using some washi tape. 

For my card, I simply cut out a piece of cardstock measuring 4x5.25". Then I went about laying down the washi tape is diagonal lines from top to bottom. After it was complete, I trimmed off the excess and placed it onto my card base. I then cut out another piece of white cardstock measuring 3.75x5" and used a heart punch to punch out my heart. I added my sentiment and then ran it through my cuttlebug and just embossed the left side of my card with my swiss dots embossing folder.  I then added my ribbon. After that was done, I added some foam adhesive on all around the edges on the back and adhered on top of my washi layer. I love how the washi ended up looking like patterned paper! Of course I added some Rainforest CANDi to the right hand corner of my card to finish it off. I love how CANDi finishes off every project beautifully!

Who's Ready For Summer??

Today I get to share with you another project using that awesome 

Craftwork Cards CANDi

I don't know about you, but I am ready for summer! As soon as I think we are getting spring we get a cold front coming through that tricks us haha! I'm sure once summer comes I will be wishing it was a little bit cooler though ;)

I cut my card base out of my silhouette as well as the flip flops. 

The sentiment is from the Pun In The Sun stamp set by Joy's Life.

I added some Icing Sugar CANDi to the middles of my flowers on my flip flops as well as on the front of my card, to give my card a little bit more dimension without the bulk. Even with the CANDi on the card, it still lays flat, I love saving money on shipping!

Today I get to share with you another project using that awesome 

Craftwork Cards CANDi

I decided to make a Thank You card to have on hand.

I kept it pretty simple yet elegant.

I made those awesome flowers by simply turning the CANDi over and adhering in a circular pattern until it was the size that I wanted. After I had the size that I wanted, I simply placed a CANDi in the center right side up. I attached some leaves to the back using a Martha Stewart punch and Voila! Beautiful flowers that I think make quite an impact. I finished off my card with a little bow in the upper right hand corner.
