Shopping Our Stash #254

Hey everyone and happy Tuesday!!
I am so happy to announce that I am now a part of the
Shopping Our Stash design team!!
It is such a fun challenge blog and I love being encouraged to use what
I already have in my stash.

This week, challenge #254 is....
The 4 Elements---Earth, Water, Fire, Wind.

Here is the card that I created based on the theme:

I decided to go with the Water element.
I pulled out my Fintastic Friends stamp set that I haven't used in awhile (since Aug. 2015) and created my little scene in the fishbowl, colored it with my Copics and used a circle die to cut it out. I used a scalloped circle die to create my card base. I thought a circle shaped card would be fun for this image. I heat embossed the greeting with white embossing powder, added some faux white stitching and added a cute little plaid paper bow at the top. I finished it off by adding a button to the middle of the bow and adding some glossy accents to the air bubbles.
I think it turned out so cute!

Be sure to head over to the Shopping Our Stash Challenge Blog to see what my design team sisters created. I hope you will decide to make a project and join us, I would love to see what you create!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Sending You Sunshine

Happy Friday!

BlogButton

Today I am back with another project that showcases some awesome stamps and dies from

I made a little note card to send to someone and hopefully brighten their day. I created my card base by adhering two rectangles from the Stitched Rounded Rectangles dies together. I then used the same die to cut out my patterned papers so that I also had the stitching on those. I stamped those fun sunglasses from the Sunny Hello stamp set, colored them using my Copics and used a smaller rectangle from the Stitched Rounded Rectangles to cut it out. I added that to the front of my card and then layered the greeting on top of that with some foam adhesive. Super simple but I think it turned out adorable!

A Note Of Thanks

Happy Friday!

BlogButton

Today I am back with another project that showcases some awesome stamps and dies from

I used the Stitched Rounded Rectangles dies to create my card layers. I used the Thanks To You stamp set for the "A Note Of" and stamped it using some black ink and cut the edge at an angle. I popped it up with some foam tape and then added my "Thanks" that I die cut using the Thanks Dies underneath. For this card, I decided to keep it pretty simple and let the focus be on the greeting so the only embellishments that I added were a few enamel dots.

Sunny Day Crafting Challenge #7

Hey everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing Sunday!

Today starts a new challenge over at Sunny Day Crafting.

For challenge #7, the photo we are using for inspiration is:

(photo from Google Images)

Here is the project that I made based on the above photo:

I thought the barn in the inspiration photo was so pretty! Barn's make me think of Farms, so that's how I came up with a Farm themed card from the photo lol. I used a couple of stamp sets from My Favorite Things to create my scene. I paper pieced the girl's shirt and colored in the rest of the images with my Copics, I popped up that layer with some foam tape onto some plaid paper. I heat embossed the greeting with some white embossing powder, notched one end and popped that up with more foam adhesive.

I hope you will head over to Sunny Day Crafting and check out the details for challenge #7 and play along! I would love to see what you create and how the photo inspired you :)

What's The Scoop?

Happy Friday!

BlogButton

Today I am back with another project that showcases some awesome stamps and dies from

May13

Isn't that little penguin adorable?? I stamped him from the So Cool stamp set onto some white cardstock and then again onto some kraft and pink cardstock so that I could paper piece him. I stamped the greeting onto some pink cardstock and used the smallest stitched rectangle to cut it out. I created my card base with the largest stitched rectangle and then adhered my other layers on top of that. I popped up my image and sentiment panel and finished off my card with some enamel dots.

A Simple Hello Card

Happy Friday!
Today I am back with another project that showcases some awesome dies from

BlogButton

Today I have a clean and simple card to share with you that I made using some new dies that will be releasing this month from Pink & Main.

may6
For my card, I created a black card base and then used some of the new stitched rectangle nesting dies (releasing soon) to create my pink and white layers. I added a strip of washi to the white layer and a felt flower. That "hello" is also a die that will be releasing soon. I cut out the Hello three times and layered them on top of each other for some added dimension. I love having cards on hand that I can just write a little note in and slip in the mail.

Paper Play Sketches #7

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing the new sketch challenge that has started at

This Week's Sketch:

My Design Team project based on the above sketch:

I love giving cards to my family as a surprise and for no occasion. I leave them where they can find them and hopefully it brings a smile to their face when they see it. I'm running a little low on cards for that in my stash so I thought I would make one with the above sketch. I love those little sheep in the Ewe Are The Best stamp set from My Favorite Things. I created my little scene and colored it in with my Copics. I added a few white highlights on some of the images & some faux stitching with a white gel pen. I added some shimmer to the heart with my clear wink of stella pen, tied some crochet thread around the frame & popped it up with some foam tape.

You can read more about the challenge and link up your project at:
I hope you will join us :)

Sunny Day Crafting Challenge #6

Hey everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing Sunday!

Today starts a new challenge over at Sunny Day Crafting.

For challenge #6, the photo we are using for inspiration is:

(photo from Google Images)

Here is the project that I made based on the above photo:

I love the bright colors in the lime in the photo, they reminded me of a rainbow. So that's the direction I took for my card. I used some dies from My Favorite Things to create my little scene. I used some glitter on the clouds so that they stood out a little more against the white background. I also used a stamp from My Favorite Things for my greeting. I used a bunch of different color inks to ink up the word Rainbow and then used a black pen to outline the word after the ink was dry. I finished off my image panel with some ribbon and some double doodle lines and then adhered it to my card base at an angle.

I hope you will head over to Sunny Day Crafting and check out the details for challenge #6 and play along! I would love to see what you create and how the photo inspired you :)
