Maybe it is the oh so hot temps we have been having lately in my area but I decided to make a beach themed card for this anything goes challenge. I used my Life Is A Beach Cricut cartridge to cut out my fun little Hula Girl, waves and Aloha. I used a Peachy Keen stamp for her sweet little face. I added some clear wink of stella to the sand, her skirt and the Aloha and that's about it. Super easy peasy but I really like how it turned out!

If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!

Here is my project-

I kept my card pretty simple so that awesome greeting could be the star of the show. I made an A2 card base from some dark blue cardstock. I layered a piece of white cardstock on top that I embossed with my Swiss dots embossing folder. I also wrapped it with ribbon before I adhered it to my card base. I cut out that awesome saying from the Independence Day - Freedom Cricut cartridge and sized it to where it covered the majority of my card front. I added a bow to my ribbon and the card was pretty much done. I love how it turned out! Being a military family, I love all things patriotic!

Be sure to stop by the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog to see the projects that my design team sisters created! I hope you will power up that Cricut and make a Patriotic project for the challenge! I would love to see what you create!

Here is my project-

My daughter needed a card for her boyfriend's sister who will be graduating in just a couple of weeks so this challenge was perfect timing for me! I opened up Cricut Design Space and created a rectangle in the size I wanted for my top panel. I used the Roly Poly font on the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge and arranged my 2017 across the front. I loaded up my mat and let the Cricut do it's thing lol! Once the 2017 was cut out, I stamped the "Class of", drew some lines, added my ribbon and some acetate to the back. I applied foam tape all around the perimeter and added some gold star confetti as well as some gold and burgundy micro beads. I added a white piece of cardstock to the back to hold everything in and also make the 2017 stand out more.I added my shaker piece onto my cardbase and tied a little bow. I thought it still needed something so I went back to the cricut and cut out a grad cap from the Wrap It Up cartridge and added it to my card front. I added a few stars to the front of my card and voila! Done! lol! I hope she likes it :)

I will also be entering this card into the graduation challenge going on over at

We can't wait to see your projects!

Ready to see what I made?
I decided to make a couple of projects to share with you today.
First up is the card I will be giving to my mom this Mother's Day.

To create my card, I used a piece of shimmery pink cardstock and layered that onto a white A2 cardbase. I used some foam tape and popped up some striped vellum. I placed my blue frame, cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge, to hide the foam tape. The Happy Mother's Day phrase and flowers came from the Mother's Day Phrases cartridge. I added a bit of dimension on my leaves with a green Copic marker and popped up the flowers with more foam tape. I added some pearls, a pretty white satin bow and some shimmer from my wink of stella pen to finish off the card.

I also decided to make a matching little gift bag. I'm not quite sure what I am giving her yet (I still need to go shopping) but I'm sure I can find a little something to go along with her gift to fit in this bag. Maybe some of her favorite candies.

I cut my bag from the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cartridge. I pretty much used the same cuts (Elegant Edges and Mother's Day Phrases) on my bag that I used on my card. The exception is that I only cut out the frame, flowers and the word Mother and a second "M" so that I could put MOM on the front.

Here is a look at both of my projects together:

I think they turned out super pretty and I hope my mom likes them :)

I am also offering up a bit of blog candy of my own.
I would like to give the following to one lucky person who comments on this post.

(DIY Project Stack Favor Boxes, Gold Alphabet Stickers, Ad Tech Adhesive, Gem sheet & baggie of gold sequins)

I will pick a winner from the comments and post the winner here on my blog on May 10, 2017 so be sure to check back to see if you are the winner and claim the prize.

Challenge #298 - Easter
Make a project about Easter.

Here is the project that I created for the challenge:

I cut out this sweet little basket from the Home For The Holidays-Spring & Summer Cricut cartridge using some pink cardstock. I assembled my basket and added some white cardstock to the inside to showcase the bunny (there is a chick on the other side) and added some wink of stella to the bunny. I added some white satin roses to the bottom and top corners. I tied some white tulle into some fluffy bows on each side of the handle and then filled it with some goodies.

Here is my project:

I found this sweet little Pot Of Gold file when I did a search for St. Patrick's Day in Design Space. I'm guessing there is a digital cartridge titled St. Patrick's Day that is included with your Cricut Access membership. There are a total of 6 images in this set, I just decided to use the Pot Of Gold so that I could use up some scraps of gold glitter paper. I love when I am able to use up my scraps! Anywho, I layered all my pieces and set it off to the side while I worked on my card. The green paper is actually from a Christmas patterned paper pad but I thought it worked pretty good for a St. Patty's green. I covered the front of my white cardbase with some green patterned paper and added a strip of black and a thin strip of gold glitter. I stamped my greeting into the corner and die cut an oval with a stitched die. I glued my pot of gold onto the oval and popped it up with some foam tape to my card base. I finished off the card with a few gold sequins. Pretty simple but I adore all the sparkle!!

Be sure to stop by the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog to see the projects that my design team sisters created! I hope you will power up that Cricut and make a St. Patrick's Day project for the challenge! I would love to see what you create!

Here is my project-

This little box was so super easy to make! I cut my box out from the Spring Holiday Cards Cartridge, assembled it and then cut a 1" strip from patterned paper and wrapped it around my box. I cut the Scallop Doily from the Elegant Edges cartridge, added a circle to the center and popped it up with foam tape to the front of the box. That cute little Valentine Cupid Teddy Bear came from the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge. After I had him all assembled, I also used some foam tape to pop him up onto the front of the doily. I finished off my box with some pearls in the bottom corner and a white satin bow at the top. The inside is filled with 3 fun size packs of candy.
