Welcome Baby!

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

Today is my day to post over at the Jaded Blossom blog
and I have a pretty card to share with you today to welcome a new baby.

Some friends recently had a beautiful baby girl and this is the card that I made to send to them to welcome their newest addition.

I started by creating a white A2 top folding card base and layering a scallop rectangle on top that I cut out using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2. I used the Rectangle Dies 2 to cut out the floral piece, adding that to my white scallop. I repeated the process with the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 and Rectangle Dies 2 (using a different patterned paper) and layering those on top.  I placed my card into my Misti and stamped my sentiment from the New Baby Stamp Set using Onyx Black Versafine Ink. I die cut a vellum oval using the Stitched Oval Dies, popped it up with foam tape, covering the tape with that sweet little onesie that I created using the Baby Dies and the heart from the Banner Dies. I completed my card with a white satin bow at the top.

Thank so much for stopping by today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

This month is ANYTHING GOES!!
We would love to see your projects that use some of those awesome

Challenge Guidelines:

I recently became a grandma (aka Mimi) for the very first time!!
To say I am smitten would be an understatement!
Here is a look at the card that I created to welcome him home 💙

I started by creating a white A2 top folding card. I used the Card Mat Dies to cut out a piece of plaid patterned paper and then I used one of the Stitched Oval Dies to create a window. I popped it up with foam tape to my card base and added a little onesie that I cut out using the Baby Dies into the center of the opening. I used the Candy Charms & Banner Dies to die cut a little white circle for the middle of the onesie and added an enamel turtle from Doodlebug Designs. I die cut some stars using the Star Dies and added them to my card along with some white Nuvo drops and green enamel hearts. I used one of the sentiments from the New Baby Stamp Set and die cut it out using the Mini Tag Dies 3.

For the inside, I used the Card Mat Dies, Star Dies and the New Baby Stamp Set.

Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom blog to see what the rest of the DT made, they never disappoint!
I hope you will play along, I would love to see what you make!

Welcome Little One

Hi everyone!!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Di's Digi Designs Challenge Blog! Yay!
You don't need to use a Di's Digi image or even a digital stamp to enter the challenge though, as long as you follow the theme. You can find more about the rules and requirements on the challenge blog.

The challenge that started today is....
"Anything New"

Here is a look at the project that I created:

Some friends of ours are having a baby this year so as soon as I saw the challenge theme, I immediately thought of their new addition. It's the perfect time to get a card ready to go for when he or she arrives.

I started by creating an A2 card base from white cardstock and die cutting a scallop rectangle using some light green patterned paper. I printed out the "Little Mouse On The Moon" image* from Di's Digital Stamps onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored it with my Copic markers. I printed the image a second time onto a piece of patterned paper so that I could do a little paper piecing on the blanket. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out my image, leaving space at the bottom for my greeting. I wrapped some crochet thread around, tied a little bow and popped up my image panel with foam tape. I added a little sparkle to some of the stars using a clear Wink of Stella pen to complete my card.

I think this turned out so incredibly sweet!

Copic Colors used:
--Mouse: C0, C1, C2, C3, R00, R20--
--Moon/Stars: Y000, Y00, Y11--

Congrats On Your New Place

 Hi everyone!
I'm so excited to be a guest designer for

Today I am sharing a card that I made using one of the new stamp sets that is being released this month (5/12/2023) called Cats & Boxes.
There are 3 adorable images in the Cats & Boxes stamp set, along with 6 great sentiments.

How cute is this little kitty peeking out of his new favorite toy? So cute!
I thought it would be fun to create a scene type of card featuring him.

I started by creating my A2 card base from some white cardstock and covering the front with a piece of wood grain patterned paper. I cut a piece of white cardstock and layered some patterned papers on top to create my wall and floor. I adhered a strip of white cardstock to act as a baseboard and added my window die cut. I stamped my sentiment using some black ink above the window & adhered my scene to a white scalloped rectangle that I popped up with foam tape onto my card base. I colored that little kitty with my Copic markers and then fussy cut him out before popping him up onto my card front with more foam tape.

Copic Colors Used:
--Box: E31, E34, E37--

Tickled Pink!

Hi everyone and happy Thursday!
I hope you are having a fabulous day and were able to get some crafty time in!
I wanted to pop on here real quick and share a card that I made for a few challenges.

The challenges that I will be entering are:
&

Here is a look at the card that I created:

My daughter recently got engaged and I wanted to make her a card to congratulate her.
I love the colors in the photo from The Card Concept and these little flamingos were just perfect for my card! I started by creating an A2 card base from some white cardstock and layering a light pink scallop rectangle on top. I cut some patterned paper, along with a small strip of black glitter paper, and added  that to my card front. I stamped my flamingos with some black ink and colored them with my Copic markers before running them through my Scan N Cut to cut them out. Once they were cut out, I glued them onto a light pink die cut heart and popped it up onto my card with some foam tape. I stamped the sentiment, notched each end and used more foam tape to adhere it to my card. I completed my card with some black enamel dots and a fun black and white polka dot bow.

**Copic Colors Used**

Congrats!

Hi everyone and happy August!
Today I have a sweet Congrats card to share with you that I made for my daughter.

My daughter is an RN and recently found out that she was nominated for a Daisy award! The Daisy Foundation celebrates nurses that provide extraordinary care and compassion. You can ready more about the Daisy Foundation by clicking this link, if you are interested. It goes without saying that I am one proud mama lol! This cute little image from Stamping Bella was perfect for me to create a Congrats card for her!

I started by creating my card base from some white cardstock and using the Blueprints 27 die from MFT to cut out my two patterned papers. I pieced them together & stamped my Congrats along the bottom with some Versafine Black ink and added my patterned paper to my card base. I stamped out that adorable image from the Daisy Squidgy stamp set from Stamping Bella and colored her in with my Copic markers. I used my Scan N Cut to cut her out and popped her up onto a die cut circle. I then added my circle to the front of my card with some more foam tape for even more dimension. I completed my card with some white sequins and some yellow Nuvo drops.

I think this turned out so incredibly cute and I know it will put a big smile on her face!

I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday!
I wanted to share a card that I made for my daughter, who recently moved out and got her own place. I miss her so very much and my house is definitely different but I am so excited for her at the same time!

I created a little scene by creating some water using some Broken China Distress Oxide Inks and my sky using a cloud stencil and some Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Inks. I colored the lily pads, cattails and that adorable little frog with my Copic markers. I added my greeting onto a strip of white cardstock, notched one end and popped it up onto my card with some foam tape. I added a little pink crochet thread bow and added my image panel onto my card front. So super cute!! I know she will get a kick out of this when she receives it :)

Jaded Blossom's May Release: Morning of the hop

Hi crafty friends!!
Happy Friday!!
Today is day 5 of the Jaded Blossom May Release. Yay!!
Thanks so much for stopping by all week!!
Here is a quick recap of the projects I made this week......

....and that brings up to today!!

Today we are showcasing She Said Yes and Love and Laughter.
Love and Laughter is the free with purchase stamp set for this release. You can read more about the Freebie stamp over at the Jaded Blossom Blog.

I decided to make a shaker card using the Love and Laughter stamp set.

I made a square card from some white cardstock and covered it with some pretty patterned papers. I wrapped some light pink crochet thread around my card and tied a little bow. I put that all aside and started building the shaker element. I used the Heart Dies 1 and Heart Dies 2 to create the back of my shaker as well as the frame around the acetate window. I stamped and heat embossed my greeting from the Love and Laughter stamp set onto some heat resistant acetate using some platinum embossing powder. I filled my shaker with some iridescent sequins and silver heart confetti. After my shaker heart was built, I added it to the card. I cut out another heart and overlapped it a bit to bring a little balance. I finished off the card with some pearls in the top corners.

Here is a look at the sets being showcased today:

Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Be sure to come back tonight for the March Release Blog Hop at 4pm PST.

Here is a look at the card that I created using some of the new products:

I thought it would be neat to make a little scene for my card so I decided on the mom to be standing in the nursery of her future baby. To create my room, I started with a white A2 card base and layered a piece of yellow cardstock on top. I added a piece of white cardstock, that I scored some lines on, to the bottom half to represent some wainscoting. I added a small strip of gray for the flooring and some white strips of cardstock for the baseboards, chair rails and crown molding. I used a die from Lawn Fawn to create my window and added some white lace for the curtain. I used the lamb from the Alice - Thank Ewe stamp set to create a little hanging picture. I did some really simple coloring on the set of blocks in the Oh Baby Die Cuts and added them to my card front. I colored up that super sweet stamp, Vanessa - For The Mom To Be with my Copics and paper pieced her dress and head band. I added her to my card and it was complete! I don't currently know of anyone having a baby so I kept the card gender neutral for when the time comes. 💛
I think it came out so super cute and this stamp is just the sweetest!

Hello crafty friends!!
I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!
Today I am back with another project that showcases some of those awesome

I wanted to make a really simple, yet pretty, Congrats card to have on hand.

This was so super simple to do! I cut out Congrats, 5 times using the Congrats die. Four times were in white and once from the pretty pink paper in the Shades of Spring paper pack. I adhered them, trying to keep them as even as I could, onto some white cardstock. Once I had them all adhered, I trimmed my cardstock making sure to trim off some of the words. I added a strip of black striped cardstock from the Spring Color Pop paper pad to the edge and some glitter tape and attached that panel onto my A2 cardbase. So super easy but I think it really makes an impact.

Hello crafty friends!!
I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!
Today I am back with a card that shows you a little peek of a new (soon to be released) stamp set as well as some oldies but goodies from

I decided to make a little congrats card for a new baby.

I kept my card pretty simple so that I could focus on that super awesome greeting and the little turtle and monkey. I created my A2 card base from some white cardstock. I cut another piece of white cardstock (4"x 5.25") and stamped my greeting from the NEW stamp set being released this month called, Congrats. I then stamped that sweet little turtle and monkey from the Little One stamp set on top and did some super simple coloring with my Copic markers. I added a scallop border to the top using the Scallop Borders die set and tied a bow with some grosgrain ribbon. I finished off my card with some doodles with a lime bic marker. I popped up my card layer with some foam tape onto the card base to give my card a little dimension.

Congrats on your new home!

Hey crafty friends!
Happy Friday! I hope you have a lot of fun plans for the weekend!
The weather is "supposed" to be nice in my area so I am hoping to get outside and actually plant some flowers and bring some color to my yard lol!

I made a card to play along in the Lawn Fawnatics challenge and wanted to share that with you today.          Challenge #3 is all about outstanding occasions.
I decided to make a new home card. My daughter's best friends are moving by us in just a little over a month now so they are all pretty excited that will be close by each other again. I made this card with them in mind.

I created my card by making my A2 card base out of some Mermaid cardstock. I then cut a smaller piece or Mermaid cardstock and backed it with a piece of polka dot vellum and started building my scene on top. I cut out my houses using the Little Town Border and colored one of the houses in so that it stood out from the others. I created my hill from some Perfectly Plaid Rainbow paper and the Hillside Borders dies and placed it on my houses strip. I heat embossed my greeting with some white embossing powder. I created some white and vellum clouds using the Puffy Cloud Borders dies and added a little butterfly from the Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp/die set. I popped up my scene panel with some foam tape for a little dimension and then added some clear wink of stella to my little pink house.

Thanks so much for taking the time time stop by!
I really appreciate it!!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Here is a peek of the inside:

Look at that fun Stitched Gift Card Pocket!
The sentiment on the pocket also came from the Home Sewn stamp set.
