Sweet Holiday

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Today I have a super cute Christmas card (at least I think so lol) to share with you that I made with a few challenges in mind.

The challenges I will be entering are:
&

and here is a look at my card and how I made it:

I started by cutting some patterned papers, following the sketch dimensions, and adhering them to a piece of white cardstock. I adhered that onto a red card base and doodled along the perimeter of my white layer. I stamped my greeting and added a bit of crochet thread. I colored that adorable image from The Greeting Farm with my Copic Markers and fussy cut her out. I die cut a white circle, embossed it with an embossing folder and added it to a red die cut circle. I popped up my image with some foam tape, added a tiny bit of glitter to her white shirt and a little enamel heart to the mug to complete my card. I think this turned out so sweet!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Sending Sunny Smiles!

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Today I have a sweet summer themed card to share with you that I made recently to send to my friend Kimberly. Every month we try to challenge each other with a new project and then swap what we created. This particular one was to create a card based on this sketch from Poetic Artistry from a few weeks ago.

Super fun sketch! Here is a look at the card that I created based on it:

I had so much fun making this! I started by coloring that sweet little girl from the Drink Up The Sunshine stamp set from MFT with my Copic markers. Once I had her colored in, I die cut her out using a circle from WRMK. I layered some bright and cheery patterned papers on top of a bright pink card base and stamped my greeting onto a piece of bright yellow patterned paper. I tied a bit of crochet thread around my sentiment and popped it up with some foam tape. I colored some flowers from the Polynesian Paradise stamp set, fussy cut them out and added them to my card. I completed my card by adding some glittery Nuvo drops.

I think it turned out so cute!!

I will be entering my card into the following challenges:

Christmas Cardinal

Hi Crafty friends!
I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!
Today I have a Christmas card to share with you that I made with a few challenges in mind.

The challenges that I am entering are:
(I used a bow, green and an image)

&

Here is a look at the card that I created:

If you come to my blog often, you've probably read that I made it a personal goal to make at least one Christmas card a month this year to try and get ahead, at least by a little lol! When I saw the sketch for Mojo Monday, I knew this chubby little cardinal would be perfect to put inside that circle focal point! I started with a red cardbase and covered it with some kraft patterned paper from Echo Park. I added a strip of green and white patterned paper from the same paper collection so it would match perfectly and then rounded one of the top corners of my card. I added a bit of doodling along the perimeter with a black sharpie pen and then started working on my image. I printed the digi stamp from 2 Cute Ink onto a piece of Hammermill Digital paper and colored it with my Copic markers. I used a circle die to cut it out and then backed it onto a red circle that I also cut out using a die. I adhered it to my card base and added a bit of glitter for the snowflakes and snow on the branch. I stamped my greeting, used more circle dies to cut it out, popped it up with foam tape and added a little crochet thread bow. I completed my card with a few white Nuvo drops.

I think this turned out so incrediby cute and since there isn't a lot of dimension, it will be super easy to mail! Gotta love that, especially during the holidays!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

I popped it up onto my card front and added a sentiment that I heat embossed in white right below it. I completed my card with some white Nuvo drops and a few white doodles with my gel pen.
I think it turned out so stinkin' cute!!

Spring Blooms

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a good day and staying healthy!
I've been getting quite a bit of crafting done since we are staying home and I made a card for a few challenges.

The challenges that I am entering are as follows:
&

Here is a look at the card that I created for the above challenges:

I started my card by creating a A2 card base from some heavy weight white cardstock. I matted some fun patterned papers from Doodlebug designs onto a piece of light pink polka dot paper and added that piece to my card base. I created my fun little scene, colored it with my Copic markers and matted it with more of the polka dotted paper. I popped it up with some foam tape onto my card front for some dimension. I stamped my greeting, notched each end and popped it up with more foam tape. I completed my card by adding some white Nuvo drops to the flower centers and a bit of sparkle to the flowers in the tree. I bought this stamp collection back in September 2019 and never got around to using it and getting it inky until now!
The above challenges were the perfect time to put it to use!!

I really appreciate it!

&

Here is a look at the card that I created for the challenges:

With everything going on in our world currently, I wanted to make a bright and cheery card with a bit of sunshine! I started with a white A2 cardbase that I layered up, according to the sketch, with some bright patterned papers from Lawn Fawn. I stamped my greeting onto a piece of white cardstock and used a Cross Stitch die to cut it out. I colored those sweet images from MFT with my Copic markers, used the coordinating dies to cut them out and added them to the front of my card. I added a glittery enamel dot to the center of the flower and a few random yellow Nuvo drops to complete my card. I have been trying to get better at mailing out the cards that I make. Hopefully, it brings a smile and a little bit of happy, even if only for a second 🌞

Happy Easter Peep :)

Hey crafty friends!
How is your Wednesday going so far?
Today I am back with another project that showcases some of those awesome
BlogButton

I thought I would make a Easter card using an older sketch from Mojo Monday (sketch 238).

I cut some scraps into 1.25" squares and placed them onto my card. I "stitched" around each square with my white gel pen. I used the Scallop Circle Dies for my pink circle and layered a circle that I cut out using the Stitched Circle dies on top. I stamp that sweet little chick from the Easter Peeps stamp set, colored her with my Copics and then used the coordinating dies to cut her out. I placed her onto the white stitched circle. I stamped my greeting, from the Easter Peeps stamp set, and created a little tag and tied a fun twine bow. I finished off the card with some enamel dots and a bit of wink of stella onto the egg.

A Sweet Christmas

Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!

Today I am here to share a sweet little Christmas card that uses some of those awesome
Pink & Main stamps and dies!

To create my card, I used the Cocoa Kisses stamp and coordinating dies for those sweet little gingerbread. I colored them in with my Copics and added a bit of chalk to their cheeks, as well as some cute little freckles. I added them both to a white rectangle that was cut using the Stitched Rounded Rectangle and popped up the sitting gingerbread with some foam tape. The white scallop was cut using the Scallop Borders die set.

Inspiration for this card came from a couple of places that currently have challenges going on.

They are:

Encouragement Card

Happy Friday! Any crafty plans out there for the upcoming weekend? I have plans to work on some layouts. Hopefully I can get at least one layout done. I'm so behind on my scrapbooking. Wish me luck :) Today I wanted to share a card that I made for a couple of different challenges.

I have to say, this card is much prettier in person. With winter here I am having a hard time finding the right time to take my pictures in natural light. I really need to make a light box haha! Anyway, I decided to make this card an encouragement card. I love that sentiment! The inside reads, "Believe in Yourself".

This card was made for the following challenges:
