Birthday Card

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday! Any exciting plans coming up for the weekend? I plan on crafting as much as I can this weekend. I have a lot of projects to catch up on. :) Today I woud like to share with you a card that I made for the following challenges:

Here is the card that i created for the challenges:



I made this card for a friend who has a birthday coming up soon. I hope she likes it. I cut my cupcake out of the Sweet Treats cricut cartridge at 2". You can't really tell to well from the picture but the white parts of the card are embossed with the Happy Birthday Cuttlebug folder and the "icing" on the cupcake is Pearl Beads in a Bottle. Monster Birthday

Happy Thursday! Today I wanted to share a card with you that I made for 2 challenges, Mojo Monday (212) and Birthday Sundaes (Purple, Green, White & Black).



First off, I have to say that this little card looks so much better in person. I always seem to have the hardest time photographing purple. Isn't that little monster the cutest? Happy Tuesday! Today I wanted to share with you a card I made for the challenge over at Birthday Sundaes. The challenge this week is to make a tall birthday card with birthday wording on the front of the card. Here is what I created for the challenge:



When I found my patterned paper, I decided to base my card around the colors in that. At first I wasn't too sure about it, but it is growing on me. hehe. I based my card off of a September 08 Card Map from Page Maps.

A Fall Birthday

Happy Thursday! Today I wanted to share with you a card I made for the challenge this week over at Birthday Sundaes. The challenge is to make a birthday card using fall colors and to include birthday wording on your card front. Here is what I made for the challenge:



When I first read what the challenge was, I have to admit, I was stumped! I started going through some of my paper and found this patterned paper with the leaves and the card just took off from that point. I wish I could tell you who makes the patterned paper but I have no clue. I got it on clearance from my LSS a few months back and their is no name printed on it anywhere. For my card, I completely built everything on the cream layer and then popped it up on the card base with foam adhesive. Criss Cross Card--A Birthday Sundaes Challenge

Happy Monday! Today I would like to share a card that I made for the challenge over at Birthday Sundaes.

Birthday Boy!

Hi there and Happy Thursday! It's almost the weekend! WooHoo!!! Any crafting plans for the weekend? I hope to get a lot of projects done since my to-do list isn't getting any shorter. :) Today's card is one that I made last night for the challenge over at Birthday Sundaes. The challenge for this week is to make any New Birthday card with a Birthday Sentiment.
Here is what I made for the challenge:



I love the way this turned out and it was so simple to do! I cut out my card base from the Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge at 5". Then I just made a little mat to go on the front. The bear was cut out at 3" and "BOY" was cut out at 1". Both the bear and the "BOY" were also cut out using Birthday Bash. I added some Glossy Accents to the balloons and to the tires to give them a little shine and then added a little twine bow to my bear. So Cute!

Birthday Wishes

Happy Wednesday! Almost the weekend! Yay! Last night I was able to sit down and actually create something. Lately it seems like I haven't been able to create. I don't know if my mojo is gone or if it is life getting in the way. When I saw the challenge for Birthday Sundaes (Create a birthday card with at least 3 brads) and the sketch over at Mojo Monday (sketch 204), that seemed to help get my creative juices flowing again. Yay!

Here is the card I created for those challenges:



It felt good to create again. I cut my birthday hat out of the Celebrations cricut cartridge at 1.75". The scallop circles are from the Classic scallop nestabilities (large).

Can you believe that I didn't use my cricut? I know! I'm surprised too. :) The scallops were made from my nestabilities and the stamp was from the dollar bin at Michael's.

Birthday Sundaes

Hi there my crafty friends! Today's card is one I made to play along with Birthday Sundaes. They have a lot of cool birthday challenges and I always look and intend on playing along but something else comes along and I never make the deadline so I am so excited that I finished my card in time this week. Yay!

The challenge this week is a cake/cupcake with birthday wording on the front. Here is what I came up with:
