Hi everyone and happy Friday!!

I hope you are doing well and have some fun plans for the upcoming weekend!

Today Digi Doodle Studios has a new release with some super cute summer images!

Here is a look at the card that I created using one of the new images called,

 Finnley Creek Fisherboy.

This image was really the star of the show so that made putting this card together super easy!

I started by covering an A2 top folding white cardbase with some plaid patterned paper. I printed out the Finnley Creek Fisherboy image onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored him with my Copic markers. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut him out, making sure to place the image more towards the top of the die. I added it to my card and placed a strip of patterned paper along the bottom. I printed out the sentiment, popping it up onto my card with foam tape. I completed my card by adding a few white doodles and inking around the perimeter of my card with some dark blue ink.

That image is just the cutest!

I always struggle to make masculine themed cards and I really need to get better at that with having two small grandsons now hehe!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom blog!!

This month is.....Anything Goes!!

Here is a look at what I created to share with you today...

My hubby is a huge football fan, so when I was in the grocery store the other day and ran across some football shaped brownies, I was inspired to make him a little treat.

I started by creating my box using some dark blue cardstock and the Gable Box Die. I added a bit of grass by cutting some green patterned paper with the Spring Dies and added that the bottom. I built my little football guy by using the Gnome Dies and the Gnome Dies: Sport Add Ons 1 and added him to the box front. I stamped my sentiment from the Root For The Gnome Team stamp set onto some white cardstock and then used one of the Octagon Dies to cut it out. I added it to my box, covering the handle hole, and added a bow that I created using the Bow Dies above it. I finished it off by adding some stars from the Embellishment Clusters Die & some white nuvo drops.

I added some small Velcro dots to the inside for easy opening and closing.

Inside, I put some white paper shred and a couple of the football shaped brownies that inspired the idea to make him a little treat :)

Holy Mackerel!

 Hi everyone and happy Tuesday!

It's my day to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog 

and I am running a bit low on birthday cards, so I decided to make one to add to my stash.

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I started by creating a card base from some blue cardstock and layering a white mat that I cut out using the Rectangle Strip Card Mat Die on top. I used the Rectangle Strip Card Mat Die twice more to cut out some patterned paper strips that I could inlay into the rectangle openings. I used the Ticket Book Die to create a "frame", adding my sentiment from the Fish On stamp set to the bottom before adhering it to my card front. I built that adorable little gnome using the Gnome Dies, Gnome Dies: Gnome Face Add Ons 1, Gnome Dies: Girl Gnome Face Add Ons & Gnome Dies: Fishing Add Ons and added him above my sentiment.

Fun right?

Great Catch!

 Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

Today is my day to post over at the Jaded Blossom blog

and I have a fun little treat box to share with you. 

My hubby is a huge football fan so I thought it would be a fun surprise to make him a box to give to him on a game day. Complete with a Gnome in his favorite team colors and filled with some football themed candy for a little snack.

I created my box by using the Gable Box Die and cutting it out from some Kraft cardstock. I trimmed off one of the handle pieces so that my box would remain open. I made my little football player by using the Gnome Dies & the Gnome Dies: Sport Add Ons 1. I inked around the edges of my white stitched panel, added my football player and glued it to the front of my box. 

I stamped my sentiment from the the Root For The Gnome Team with some Versafine Onyx Black Ink and used the Label Shape Dies 1 to cut it out. I cut out the label again, going around the perimeter with a green Copic, and added it to my sentiment label for a little shadow layer. I added it to my box, covering the hole that acts as the handle. I cut a bow using the Bow Dies and some yellow patterned paper and added that to the top of my box, finishing it off with a football from the Gnome Dies: Sports Add Ons 1 for the center of the bow. 

I think this turned out so cute!

Here is a look at the card that I created for the challenge:

 My hubby's birthday is coming up so I just had to make a fun card to give to him!

This was pretty simple to make. I started by creating my top folding A2 card base from white cardstock. I used the Card Mat Dies to cut out a piece of plaid patterned paper and then used the Stitched Oval Dies to cut out my opening. I used some repositionable adhesive so that I could temporarily add my plaid paper onto my card base. This gave me a guide as to where to place my greeting. I placed my card into my Misti and stamped my greeting from the Ahoy Gnomie stamp set directly onto my card base using some Versafine Black Ink. I removed the plaid paper, added some foam tape and then reattached it to my card front. I used the Large Palm Tree die to create my tree and tucked the trunk at the bottom behind the opening and glued some of the leaves to the outside of the opening at the top. I used the Gnome Dies: Beach Add Ons for my Crab, added some black enamel dots for his eyes and placed him onto my card, centering him at the bottom the best I could. That was it!

 I think my hubby is really going to get a kick out of this! hehe!

This release has been so fun to create projects for! Here's how I created this one...

I started by covering a white A2 top folding card base with some striped patterned paper. I used the Rectangle Dies 2 to cut out a piece of black cardstock and added that to my card front. I layered a strip of Police Badge themed patterned paper across the front and then popped up my gray piece that I cut out using the Fancy Topper Die with foam tape on top. I built my motorcycle Police Officer using the Gnome Dies,  Gnome Dies: Motorcycle Add Ons & the new Gnome Dies: Motorcycle Cop Add Ons. Once I had him built, I popped him up with more foam tape. I stamped my greeting from the Gnomeland Security stamp set, used the coordinating Outline Dies to cut it out and added it to my card towards the bottom. I completed my card by adding a few random stars that I cut out using the Star Dies and the Embellishment Clusters Die as well as a few white Nuvo drops.

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today...

I started by making a white A2 card base that I covered with a piece of blue patterned paper. I used the Card Mat Dies to die cut a piece of star patterned paper to layer on top. I used the Wine Tag Die to cut out another piece of the blue patterned paper along with the coordinating stitched layer from white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Gnomeland Security stamp set using Black Versafine Ink to the top of the white layer and then wrapped some black twine around, tying off with a bow before layering the two pieces together and popping it up onto my card with some foam tape. I built that adorable little gnome using the Gnome Dies along with the new Gnome Dies: Police Add Ons and popped him up onto my card with more foam tape. I finished my card by adding some stars that I cut out using the Star Dies and Embellishment Cluster Die.

How fun and cute right??

Here is a look at the card that I created for the challenge:

I thought this sentiment from the Nailed It stamp set was so cute so I knew I wanted to try and make a card that would allow me to opportunity to use it lol!

I started by creating a top folding A2 card from white cardstock. I used the Card Mat Dies to cut out a piece of black cardstock and I layered a piece of gray patterned paper, that I cut out using the Rectangle Dies 2, on top. Once I had them adhered, I used the Stitched Circle Dies to cut out an opening. I added a bit of doodling around the perimeter with a black Micron pen and then popped up my layer onto my cardbase with foam tape. I used the Gnome Dies: Tool Add Ons to create the toolbox and tools and added them to the opening with foam tape so that it was the same depth as my card panel. I stamped my greeting from the Nailed It stamp set and used the coordinating Outline Dies to cut it out. I popped that up with more foam tape and finished my card with a few matte enamel dots.

 I always struggle with Masculine cards but Jaded Blossom dies always help me out and come to the rescue!

Jaded Blossom's April Release Blog Hop

Hey Everyone! 

 Welcome to Jaded Blossom's April Stamp Release Blog Hop.  

If you're here from Lee'Ann's Blog you're in the right place, if you're just passing through be sure to start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom.
Here is a look at what I made:

First up is a masculine birthday card made using some older die sets from Jaded Blossom along with the NEW Gnome Dies: Tools Add Ons, Nailed It Stamp Set and Nailed It Outline Dies.I started by creating a white top folding A2 card from white cardstock and doodling around the perimeter with a black Micron pen. I die cut two rectangles using the Rectangle Dies 2 from two different gray cardstocks. I added a bit of doodling and then adhered them to my card front. I built my little handy man using the Gnome Dies & Gnome Dies: Tool Add Ons and popped him up onto my card with foam tape. I stamped my greeting from the Nailed It Stamp set & used the coordinating Nailed It Outline Dies to cut it out. I popped it up onto my card with foam tape and lightly inked around the perimeter of my card base with some black soot distress ink to complete my card. 
Next, I decided to make a fun little treat and gift card holder to go along with my card.

So cute! 

I used the Crate die and cut it from red cardstock. I placed a piece of black cardstock on the inside to cover the crate openings and placed some thin gray strips to act as the drawer pulls. I cut pieces of cardstock to cover the sides and the back of my box. I cut a piece of cardstock 3 1/8" x 6" & did a little scoring to create my lid. I will place all the dimensions of the pieces I cut below. There is also a quick video showing how I did it. I added a little handle to the top and some tools from the Gnome Dies: Tool Add Ons to decorate my little box. To keep it closed, I added a small bit of velcro. 

Inside the box, I added some black paper shred, a gift card and some little chocolate candies that I covered using gray cardstock, the Tool Stencil and Candy Wrap Dies.

I think this is such a cute little set to give to your favorite Handyman!

Cardstock Cuts for the Tool Box:--2 pieces of red cut using the Crate Die--Black Piece (for the inside front) cut at 3" x 2 1/8"-- 4 Gray drawer pulls cut at 2 3/4" x 1/8"--Red piece for outside back cut at 3" x 2 1/8"--2 red pieces for the 2 sides each cut at 2 1/8" x 2 5/8"--Handle from black cut at 3/8" x 3 3/4" scored at 1/2" and 1", flip and score the other side the same.--1 piece of red for lid cut at 3" x 6" & scored on the 6" side at 2 3/4" & 5"*note: my above tool box lid actually measures at 3 1/8" x 6".However 3" or 3 1/8" both work, there will just be less of a gap with the 3 1/8"
