Hello Friend

 Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing a card that I created using super cute stamp set called Hello Friend Tortoise from Gerda Steiner Designs.
There are 2 cute images in the 3x4 Hello Friend Tortoise stamp set, along with 3 sentiments

Isn't this turtle the cutest? I thought he would be perfect on a shaped card (one of my favorite types of cards to make). This card was actually pretty easy to make also. I started by die cutting 2 scallop circles and adhering them at the top. I added a stitched circle layer that I die cut from some plaid paper to the front and then started creating my scene. I cut another stitched circle, this time from white cardstock, and stenciled some puffy clouds onto it. I added my sentiment & some grass that I cut from some green patterned paper, popping up the front layer of grass with some foam tape. Next, I stamped my turtle using some Memento tuxedo black ink and colored him with my Copic markers. Once I had him colored in, I fussy cut him out and popped him up with more foam tape. I fussy cut the butterfly and added him close to my sentiment with more foam tape. I completed my card with some die cut flowers and a die cut bow. I think this is so cute and I love having cards on hand to send just to say Hello.

Too Cute Too Spook!

Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are all doing well!

Today I am sharing a fun little treat bag from Pink Gem Designs.

How cute is this Halloween Owl Gift Bag?!?!
Talk about easy! This is a digital download. You simply print it out twice, cut it out and assemble. All the hard work is pretty much done for you.

I actually printed it out three times so that I could fussy cut the pumpkin and hat and pop them up with foam tape for some extra dimension. I also added a couple of bats that I die cut out from some black glitter cardstock. I finished off my little treat bag with a tag (included with the treat box), popped it up onto a black glitter die cut circle and tied it to my bag with some orange and white twine.

These would be perfect to mass produce for co-workers or classrooms.

Joy Christmas Tags

 Hi crafty friends!

I hope you are all doing well!
Today I wanted to stop in and share a couple of Christmas tags that I made using some adorable images from Pink Gem Designs.

Aren't these cute?  Creating them was pretty fun too!
I started by die cutting my tag shape from some Navy Blue cardstock. I took a paintbrush and splattered some gold metallic watercolor onto it to act as my starry sky. I die cut some white glitter cardstock using the same tag shape, and then die cut them again using a snow banks die to create my snowy hill. I printed out the Christmas Bears from Pink Gem Designs and colored them with my Copic markers. I cut them out using my Scan N Cut and then popped them up onto my tag with some foam tape. I added some gold stickles to the stars for some extra sparkle. I finished my scene with some stitched trees and the word "JOY". Since I'm not sure which packages these will be going on just yet, I kept my gold and white twine extra long to make it easier when the time comes.

I added a "TO:" and "FROM:" to the back of each tag.

Copic Colors Used:
--Bears: E40, E41, E43, E59, R20, R00--
--Wings: BG000, BG0000--
--Outfit: Y21, Y23--

Enjoy The Little Things

  Hi everyone!
I'm so excited to be back as a guest designer for

Today I am sharing a card that I made using an adorable stamp set called
There are 8 super fun images in the Pool Piggies stamp set, along with 1 sentiment.

All of the little piggies are adorable, but I was drawn to this one reading his book. I love to go to the beach and get lost in a good book so he definitely called to me lol!

I started my A2 card by adding 2 different patterned papers to the front. I added a strip of yellow to help divide the patterns a little. Next, I die cut a large tag from some blue patterned paper and created a little beach scene by adding a small amount of white cardstock to act as the sea foam along with some Kraft cardstock to act as the sand. I die cut a palm tree and added that to my tag as well. Next was the really fun part! I stamped that little Pool Piggie, and his beach towel, with some Memento Tuxedo black Ink and colored them in with my Copic markers. Once I had both images colored, I did a bit of fussy cutting and added them to my tag. I stamped a sentiment from the Hello Friend Tortoise stamp set with some Black Versafine Ink, trimmed it down and added it to my tag, tucking it under the palm just a bit. I added my tag to my card front and completed the look with some yellow twine, enamel shaped shells and some white Nuvo drops.

I think this turned out so cute!!

Be Merry

 Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are all doing well!
Although I am enjoying Summer, I also know that the Christmas season will be here before we know it! I decided to take a little break from the heat and create a Christmas card using one of the adorable new images from Pink Gem Designs.

How cute is this little bear? There are a total of 6 super cute bears in the
I think they are all cute but this one holding the stocking was calling out to me for this card lol!

I started by covering my white A2 cardbase with some wood grain polka dotted paper. I cut some red snowflake patterned paper at an angle and added that to the bottom left corner. I die cut a scallop from some green plaid paper and added that as well. I colored that adorable little bear with my Copic markers and used my Scan N Cut to cut him out. I adhered a white scallop rectangle to my card front and popped up my little bear with some foam tape.  I used a black Micron pen to add some black doodling around the perimeter of my card, as well as my white rectangle. I die cut some snowflakes from some white glitter cardstock and added them to my card, along with a few white Nuvo drops. I completed my card by popping up my sentiment to the top right of my card with foam tape.
I think this came out so incredibly cute!!

BFFs Forever!

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous day and getting some crafty time in!
I wanted to pop in real quick and share a card that I made for my husband.
We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary and this is the card that I made for him:

As soon as I saw this stamp, I knew I had to have it in my life to make my hubby a card.
His preferred method of travel is a Harley Davidson so I thought he would get a kick out of this haha!

I always struggle with masculine cards so I kept it pretty simple and kept the focus on the image and sentiment. I stamped my image onto a piece of white hammermill cardstock and colored it with my Copic markers. Once I had it colored, I used a stitched rectangle die to cut it out. I adhered it to some blue houndstooth patterned paper and then added it to my white A2 card base. I added some doodles around the perimeter for a little visual interest. I stamped my sentiment and used a stitched die to cut it out. I popped it up onto my card with foam tape and added a little red enamel heart to complete my card. So simple but I adore how it turned out!

Copics Used:
--Trike: R24, R27, R39, C1, C4, C6, C8, Y26--
--Girl's Skin: E50, E51, E21, R20--

Following the above sketch, I built my card base using some red and white cardstock along with some patterned papers from Doodlebug. I stamped that adorable little Reindeer & Tree from Mama Elephant with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and did some simple Copic coloring. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and placed them onto the die cut circle. I added some doodle lines around the perimeter of some of the papers for a little visual interest. I completed my card with some glossy accents on his nose & lights and some enamel dots in the top corner of the pattered paper piece.

Hi there and happy Thursday!
Almost the weekend!!

Seems like a lot of areas are getting some pretty hot temps.

I wanted to pop in today and share a card that I made with a few challenges in mind.
The challenges that I would like to enter are:
&

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I'm not quite sure what it is lately, but I seem to be drawn to all things bees.
However, I'm not a real big fan of the stinging ones, just the cute ones that I can color hahaha!

This stamp from Avery Elle is older but I thought he would be perfect for this card sketch.
I created my card by first building my card base. I started with some Kraft cardstock and layered some patterned paper from Echo Park on top. Next I stamped my images and gave them a simple coloring with my Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and added them to my circle focal point. I stamped my greeting, notched the end and tucked it behind my bear. I added a little enamel heart, some black Nuvo drops and some white enamel dots to complete my card.
Super easy but oh so cute!

Copic Colors Used:

Ahoy There!

 Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your summer!
Summer is always so busy and it seems like I spend less time in my craft room.
Anyone else like that?
Today I was determined to get into my room and create a card though and I'm happy to say that I did!! Yay!! lol!
I created my card using an adorable image from

Isn't this little Sailor Bear the cutest?
I thought he was just perfect to create a summer themed Hello card.

To create my card, I started with a dark blue A2 cardbase and layered some patterned paper on top. I embossed some red cardstock with a polka dot embossing folder and added that to the bottom of my card base. I added a thin strip of white cardstock and wrapped some twine around, tying it off with a bow. I printed out that adorable teddy and colored him with my Copic markers. I used my Scan N Cut to cut him out and popped him up onto a die cut circle with foam tape. I printed out my sentiment and popped that up with more foam tape to complete my card.

Copic Colors Used:
--Bear: E50, E31, E33, E59, R22, R20--
--Shirt/Hat: C00, C0, R27, R39, B37--

Red Truck Christmas

 Hi everyone!
I hope today finds you well!
We have been having a lot of rain and thunderstorms for over a week in my area
but today the sun is shining bright! 🌞

I wanted to pop in real quick and share a couple of cards that I made. I'm trying to get a little ahead for the Christmas season and playing along with the June Christmas Card Prep Challenge currently going on at Scrapbook.com

Here are the two that I made:

I kept it really simple but I think it turned out great!
I covered my white cardbase with some patterned papers and used a bit of statin ribbon to divide the papers a bit. I used my Glimmer Foil system and some red foil for my sentiment. I die cut it out using a postage frame die and adhered my truck that I built using some dies from Spellbinders. I popped up my postage frame with some foam tape and my card was done! Easy peasy!!

While I had everything out, I made a second card.
I did everything the same except for the sentiment. I decided to pop up the sentiment on this one.

I think these turned out so cute!

A Sweet Christmas

 Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday!
Today I am stopping in to share a couple of cards that I made in preparation for the upcoming Christmas season.
Yikes! It will be here before we know it! Seems like the older I get, the faster time flies lol!

I love this little stamp of Mrs. Claus and have had it for awhile now, so I'm so excited that I actually inked it up and played with it.
I created my card using some fun papers from Doodlebug, and layered them together using a sketch from Deconstructed Sketch (#186) as my guide. I colored my image with Copic markers and matted it with some red paper before popping it up with foam tape onto my card front. I heat embossed my greeting and added some glittery snowflakes. I added some little enamel hearts to the centers of my flakes and some glitter to my stained glass sugar cookies to complete my card.

While I had everything out, I decided to make a second card. I made it the exact same, other than switching the patterned papers around.

I think these turned out so cute!!
