Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun!

 Hi everyone!
I hope you are all doing well and enjoying some nice weather :)
Today I wanted to pop in real quick and share a super fun card that I made with a stamp set that is going to be released soon from Gerda Steiner Designs called FABOOLOUS BIRTHDAY.

Fun right?
Here is how I made it...
I started by creating an A2 top folding cardbase using purple cardstock.
Next I used a die to cut out my scallop rectangle and frame. I adhered both of those pieces onto a piece of white cardstock and doodled around the inside of the frame with a black Micron pen. I stamped my images from the FABOOLOUS BIRTHDAY stamp set using black Memento Ink, colored them in with COPIC markers and fussy cut them out. I popped them up onto my card with some foam tape and added some black confetti stars.

I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of purple cardstock and heat embossed it using some black embossing powder. I trimmed it down, flagged the ends and popped it up with foam tape also.

I decided to add a little bow on one of the "ghouls" and added a little sparkle to the Disco Ball with a sparkle pen.

Copic Markers Used:
Ghost: B0000, B00, RV34, V12
Disco Ball: V000, V12, V15, V17

Thank you so much for stopping by today and taking a look at my latest card!
I appreciate it so much!

Belated Birthday

Hi everyone!
I hope your day is going smoothly so far!
I have a super cute card (at least it is to me lol) that I wanted to share with you today.
I loved the sketch over on the MFT card challenges blog and immediately knew I wanted to play along.

I went looking through my stamps, and came across this adorable sloth and knew I wanted to use him for this card.

I started with a white top folding A2 card and covered it with some blue striped patterned paper. I trimmed down a white panel, die cut a circle to create the opening and then embossed it with a polka dot embossing folder. I popped my white panel up onto my card front with some foam tape, just to add a little interest to the opening itself. I stamped my sloth with some Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him with my Copic markers before fussy cutting him out. I stamped my sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock, making sure to stamp it more towards the bottom of the strip, and glued it to my embossed panel. I added my sloth, adhering the bottom part of him with glue to the sentiment strip and the top half with foam tape into the window opening. I also added just a bit of glue to the balloon. I finished my card with a few little clouds and some clear Wink of Stella to the balloon.
I think it is just so cute!!

Copic Colors Used:

A real page-turner!

 Hi everyone!
I hope you are all doing well and getting in some crafting time :)
I was able to sneak into my craft room for a bit and create a simple card with a few challenges in mind.
Here is a look at my card...

How cute is that little mouse reading his little book??

I layered three pieces of patterned paper together and then used a Scallop Rectangle die to cut it out so that all three layers cut at one time. I added some hemp twine and adhered my panel to a white A2 top folding cardbase. I stamped my mouse using some black Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored him with Copic markers and then used the coordinating dies to cut him out. I popped him up onto a die cut circle with foam tape and then popped that circle up onto another circle and then added them to my card front. I used my Misti Stamp Tool to stamp my sentiment and my card was done!

Easy peasy and oh so cute!!

Copic Colors Used:
--Mouse: E41, E43, E35, RV10, RV000, BG0000--
--Book: BG53, BG57, E40--

Fluttering By...

 Hi everyone!
I hope you are doing well and enjoying some nice weather.
It's nice and sunny in my area so I think after I write this up, I will be heading outdoors for a little gardening. I have some tomato plants that need a little attention.

I wanted to pop in and share a sweet and simple card that I created with a few challenges in mind.
(I will have them listed below)

Here is a look at my card...

Told ya it was simple lol!
I adore these little dragonflies that I recently received from Pink and Main and have been itching to ink them up and place them onto a card.

I normally start creating a card by first picking out my papers so I know which way to lean with my coloring but I wanted to keep my card simple so I focused on my images first. I stamped my images onto some white Hammermill cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with my Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and set them aside. I created an A2 cardbase using some Pool Party cardstock and added a white scallop rectangle layer on top. I wanted a little visual interest so I used a Polka Dot embossing folder to emboss a white piece of cardstock, trimmed it down and adhered that onto my white scallop rectangle. I stamped my sentiment onto a fishtail banner, added a bow and popped it up onto my card. I placed each of my dragonflies onto my card with more foam tape and finished my card with some shimmer on their wings and a few sequins.

Cute cute cute!!

Copic Colors Used:
--Body: E40, E41, E42, E43, R20--
--Wings: BG0000, BG000, RV000, V000, BV000, G00--

Birthday Tag into a Card

Hi everyone!
I hope you are doing well!
Today I wanted to pop in with a fun card that I made for my daughter's birthday.

I made half of this card back in 2019 lol!
Let me explain...I created a tag in 2019 with every intention of using it as a tag.
Recently while going through my card stash, I came across it just sitting in my card drawer patiently waiting to be used lol! I needed a card to give to my daughter and I still loved the tag so I thought I would take the tag, make a couple of modifications and turn it into a card.

Here is a picture/link of the tag before:

To create my card, I snipped off the RicRak/twine and created a little white bow, adhering that over the hole. I created a card base and used a scallop rectangle die to cut out my pink patterned paper. Luckily I still have the patterned paper pad so it was super easy to match up a background paper. Once I had that adhered to my card base, I trimmed down a piece of vellum and attached my tag. I hid some foam tape behind the tag and added the vellum piece to my card front. I added a few white Nuvo Drops and some white enamel hearts to complete the card.

I think this ended up being so cute and was so happy that I was able to take a tag, that I loved, and turn it into a card that I ended up loving even more! Win Win!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Happy Birthday Monkey!!

Hello everyone!!
I hope you are all doing well!
It's been awhile since I have blogged, and I've missed it!!
I have been recovering from surgery on my right arm and am finally able to slowly get back into crafting.
Today I wanted to stop in and share a cute little mini slimline card that I made for my Grandson's 2nd birthday!! I don't know how he is already 2 but it has been an amazing 2 years with him in our lives!
He brings so much joy...yup my Mimi heart is full!

Here is a look at the card that I created for him...

This stamp set from Pink and Main was perfect for my card!
Here is how I made it...
I started by creating a mini slimline from white cardstock and covering it with some striped patterned paper. I die cut a scallop rectangle using a die from Spellbinders, once in white and again in green patterned paper. I trimmed down the green to act as my ground and adhered it to the bottom, set it aside and went to work on my critters. I stamped my images, colored them with my Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I added them to my scallop rectangle to create my scene and stamped the sentiment in the top left corner. I popped my scene up with foam tape onto my cardbase and added a few details with a white paint pen to complete my card.

I think this turned out so cute!!
Perfect for Mimi's Monkey, yup he is a climber lol!

Copic Colors used:
--Zebra: N0, N1, N3, N5, N7, R20, R27--
--Elephant: C00, C0, C1, C2, R20, R00, B37, YR18, Y13--
--Monkey: E40, E41, E42, E44, YR14, YR18--
--Sheep: W0, W1, W3, W5, R20, B41, Y13--

Stellar Birthday!

 Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous day so far!
Today I am popping in real quick to share a card that I created with a couple of challenges in mind.

Here is a look at the card...

I purchased this adorable image called Ainsley Astronaut  from Digi Doodle Studios a couple of weeks ago, colored her up with my Copic markers and set her aside! You know how that goes right? You just get busy with other things, or is that just me? haha! Well, I came across her when I was cleaning off my desk and sat down and turned her into a card before I forgot again haha!

I started with a white A2 top folding card base and added a light purple strip towards the bottom and doodled around the perimeter of my card front. I did a little ink blending to create a galaxy background and added some white and gold paint splatters. Once my galaxy was dry, I used a scallop rectangle die to cut it out and placed it onto my card, centering it as best as I could. I cut out my astronaut using my Scan N Cut and popped her onto my card with some foam tape. I cut out my sentiment using a banner die and placed that underneath her, trying to align it with the purple strip that is behind the background panel. I die cut some stars, placed them onto my card and added a few white doodles to her outfit to complete my card.

I think this turned out so cute!!

Copics Used:
Skin: E50, E51, E21, R20
Hair: E31, E33, E35
Outfit: V12, V15, C0, C1, C3, C5

A cute little dragon!! Yay!!
I thought this greeting in the Stay Magical stamp set that we peeked yesterday was so fun, I just had to make a little party dragon for my card today :)

I started by covering my A2 cardbase with some birthday themed patterned paper and adding a light green scallop rectangle that I cut out using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 and a white oval cut out using the Stitched Oval Dies on top. I created my dragon by using the Gnome Friends: Dragon Dies & the Dragon Faces, along with a candle from the Gnome Dies: Birthday Add Ons
My hope is that it looks like she is getting ready to blow out the candle lol!
I added a strip of purple patterned paper towards the bottom of my card and added my greeting from the Stay Magical stamp set, cut out with the Stay Magical Outline Dies, on top. I added my dragon above my greeting and added a festive party banner above her that I cut out using the Banner Dies. I finished off my card by adding some doodling with a black pen, some glossy accents to the candle, some sparkle to her wings and a small little purple bow in her hair.

Adorable!

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today...

How cute is this little wizard??

Here is how I made my card...
I started by creating a shaped card by using the Stylized Scallop Rectangle Dies. I used the largest die to cut out two pieces from white cardstock. I scored the back piece at about half an inch from the top and placed glue above the score line and added my top piece. The score line acts like a hinge so that the card can open easily.  I cut out my card layer by using some burgundy patterned paper and the Stylized Rectangle Dies and added that to my shaped card base. I built the little wizard and owl by using the Gnome Dies, the Gnome Dies: Wizard Add Ons & some black enamel dots for their eyes.  I stamped my greeting from the Stay Magical stamp set, used the coordinating Stay Magical Outline Dies to cut it out and then placed it under my wizard with some foam tape. I die cut some stars by using the Star Dies and Embellishment Clusters Die and placed them around my card. I finished my card by adding a bit of sparkle with some gold Nuvo drops.

I love this card so much!
I'm pretty sure I will have a hard time giving this one away lol!

Jaded Blossom's August Mini Release!

Happy Thursday!
It's time for our new mini Chipmunk release over at Jaded Blossom!

We have four new items available! Check them out HERE

Here is what I made using the new items..

Chipmunks!!! How cute!!
For my first project, I decided to make a get well card that is sure to bring a
smile to the recipient, at least I hope so!
I started by creating a Kraft A2 top folding card and layering floral patterned paper on top along with a couple of yellow plaid stripes. I used the Rectangle Internal Scallops to cut out a piece of brown cardstock and adhered it to a piece of polka dot paper. I stamped my sentiment from the Nuts About You stamp set towards the bottom, added a piece of vellum, and popped the piece onto my card with foam tape. I used the Gnome Friends: Chipmunk Die and Chipmunk Faces to build my little chipmunk and gave her a flower to hold from the Sunflower Dies and placed her above my sentiment. I added a small thread bow to her hair to complete my card.

For my second project,
I wanted to make a fun gift card holder to have on hand for a little birthday gift.

I first created my bag by using the Goody Bag Die and cutting it from teal cardstock. I added some plaid patterned paper to the front before assembling the bag. Once it was assembled, I used the Border Dies to create a little handle. I added a Oval from the Stitched Oval Dies and placed my chipmunk that I created using the Gnome Friends: Chipmunk Die, Chipmunk Faces and the Balloon Dies to the center. I stamped my sentiment from the Nuts About You and used the coordinating Nuts About You Outline Dies to cut it out. I placed it under my chipmunk and added a little bow to her hair to complete the bag.

I added a few pieces of almond candy, a gift card and a tiny bit of white paper shred to the inside.

**please note the bundle does not include any of the MDF items**

We also release two new sets of MDFs!
**please note these MDFs are not included in the release package**

Make sure to check out all the design team projects by clicking on their names below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!
I appreciate it so much!
I hope you have a great crafty day!
