Belated Birthday

Hi everyone!
I hope your day is going smoothly so far!
I have a super cute card (at least it is to me lol) that I wanted to share with you today.
I loved the sketch over on the MFT card challenges blog and immediately knew I wanted to play along.

I went looking through my stamps, and came across this adorable sloth and knew I wanted to use him for this card.

I started with a white top folding A2 card and covered it with some blue striped patterned paper. I trimmed down a white panel, die cut a circle to create the opening and then embossed it with a polka dot embossing folder. I popped my white panel up onto my card front with some foam tape, just to add a little interest to the opening itself. I stamped my sloth with some Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him with my Copic markers before fussy cutting him out. I stamped my sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock, making sure to stamp it more towards the bottom of the strip, and glued it to my embossed panel. I added my sloth, adhering the bottom part of him with glue to the sentiment strip and the top half with foam tape into the window opening. I also added just a bit of glue to the balloon. I finished my card with a few little clouds and some clear Wink of Stella to the balloon.
I think it is just so cute!!

Copic Colors Used:

Gingerbread Christmas Cards

Hi everyone!
Happy Friday!! I hope you are having a great day so far!
Today I wanted to pop in and share a couple of simple cards that I made for a couple of different challenges.

The challenges that I would like to enter are:
&

Here is a look at the cards that I created...

Cute right?? I fell in love with this stamp set as soon as I saw it!
First I created my card front using the above sketch as my inspiration on how to lay out everything. I decided to cut some thin strips of white cardstock and glue them on top of my patterned papers so that I could add a little separation. I colored my little gingerbread from the Gingerbread Joy stamp set from Simon Says Stamp with my Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut it out. I placed it into the center of my circle and added the sentiment underneath. I added some glitter the the gumdrops on the gingerbread and placed some enamel dots and hearts to finish my card.

While I had everything out, I decided to make a second card.
I made this one the same way, just used different patterned papers and a different image/sentiment.

I thought that sentiment was absolutely perfect to go along with that image haha!!

So cute!!

Copic Colors Used:

Stellar Birthday!

 Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous day so far!
Today I am popping in real quick to share a card that I created with a couple of challenges in mind.

Here is a look at the card...

I purchased this adorable image called Ainsley Astronaut  from Digi Doodle Studios a couple of weeks ago, colored her up with my Copic markers and set her aside! You know how that goes right? You just get busy with other things, or is that just me? haha! Well, I came across her when I was cleaning off my desk and sat down and turned her into a card before I forgot again haha!

I started with a white A2 top folding card base and added a light purple strip towards the bottom and doodled around the perimeter of my card front. I did a little ink blending to create a galaxy background and added some white and gold paint splatters. Once my galaxy was dry, I used a scallop rectangle die to cut it out and placed it onto my card, centering it as best as I could. I cut out my astronaut using my Scan N Cut and popped her onto my card with some foam tape. I cut out my sentiment using a banner die and placed that underneath her, trying to align it with the purple strip that is behind the background panel. I die cut some stars, placed them onto my card and added a few white doodles to her outfit to complete my card.

I think this turned out so cute!!

Copics Used:

Happy Birthday Bunny

 Hi crafty friends!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful day!
I can't believe it is already the middle of June!
I haven't been around this month as we've been having a fun and relaxing beach vacation.
We are home now and I am ready to get some crafty time in :)
Where is your favorite place to vacation?

Today I have a super sweet card to share with you that I created using an adorable image from

I thought this image was so adorable and would make the perfect birthday card for a little one.
Although if I received it at my age, it would still bring a smile to my face lol! So cute!!

I printed out my image onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored it in with my Copic markers. Once I had everything colored in, I used a scalloped rectangle die to cut it out. I set it to the side while I built my card front. To do that, I layered a piece of pink patterned paper to the front of my white A2 card base. Next, I cut a piece of striped patterned paper and wrapped some sheer ribbon around before also adding that to my card. I popped up my image panel with foam tape and tied a little bow onto the sheer ribbon underneath. I completed my card by adding my sentiment to the top of my card with more foam tape.

Copic Colors Used:
--Chick: Y15, Y13, Y11, YR14, YR12, R20--
--Flowers: Y15--

Just Flyin' By To Say...

  Hi crafty friends!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Today I have a fun mini slimline card to share with you that I created using an adorable image from

I just could not resist this little Teddy Bear Pilot! Isn't he just too cute??
To create my card, I created my mini slimline card base by folding a piece of 6x6 cardstock in half. Next, I built my sky. To do that, I trimmed down a piece of white cardstock and layered some stitched clouds on top. I inked around all the edges using the residual ink on my blending brush and adhered my sky to the card base. I printed out that adorable Teddy Bear Pilot and colored him with my Copic markers. I used my Scan N Cut to cut him out and popped him up onto my card with foam tape. Next I printed off my greeting, notched the end, added some string and attached that to my card with more foam tape. I added some sequins and Nuvo drops to complete my card.

Copic Colors Used:
**Bear: E31, E33, E34, R00, R20**
**Shirt/Hat/Glasses: B32, B34, B37, E42, E44, C4, C6**

 Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having a wonderful day so far!

Today I am popping in to share a card that I made with a couple of challenges in mind.
The challenges are:
&

Here is a look at the card that I created:

Isn't that little sloth so cute? I have had this stamp set in my stash for quite awhile now and never got around to using him until now. I thought he fit perfectly for the sketch as well as the color scheme that was needed.
I started by building my card base with some papers from Lawn Fawn. I added a die cut circle, colored my images with Copics and created a little scene. I popped the sloth and one of the clouds up with foam tape for a little dimension. I added my sentiment under my die cut circle and completed my card with some white Nuvo Drops in the flower centers. Super easy! I love how bright and cheery it is!!

Copic Colors Used:

So Berry Sweet!

 Hi everyone!
I hope your day is off to a fabulous start!

Today I am sharing a fun card that I made using a stamp set from

I think the little mice in the Strawberry Field Mice Stamp Set are so adorable and I wanted to make a card that had a "country/farmhouse" vibe to go along with one of the images. I started by creating a "quilt" background. To do this, I used the Triangle Card Mat Die from Jaded Blossom and a few patterned papers from the Strawberry Fields 6x6 Paper Pad. I did a little inlay die cutting and tied some twine around before popping up my panel with some foam tape onto a red card base. I stamped that sweet little mouse onto a piece of white cardstock and colored her with my Copic markers. I used a circle die to cut her out and curved my greeting to match the circle the best I could. I adhered my image onto a red scallop circle and paper pieced her little dress with some of the scrap patterned paper before popping it up onto my card with more foam tape. I completed my card with some little green enamel dots to frame the greeting.

Copic Markers used:
--Mouse: E43, E41, E40, R00, G21--
--Berry: R39, R27, G24, G21--

Rainy Days

Hi everyone!
I hope your day is off to a great start!

Today I am sharing a fun card that I created using a new image from

What a cute little gnome right?!
Creating my card was so super easy too! I started by creating an A2 card base from white cardstock and layering a piece of striped paper on top that I had die cut with a scallop rectangle die. I arranged my image the way I wanted him on the puddle in Word and printed it out onto a piece of white Hammermill paper. I used my Copics to color him and used a stitched rectangle die to cut him out. I layered my image onto a piece of gray cardstock and then onto a piece of polka dotted cardstock before adhering it to my striped piece. I printed out the sentiment, used a flag die to cut it out and popped it up onto my card with foam tape. I printed out some of individual droplets, fussy cut them after I colored them and popped them up onto my card with more foam tape. I added some polka dots to his Fab Boots with a white gel pen and some Nuvo drops by the water splashes to finish my card.
I think this turned out so super fun!!

Copic Colors Used:
--Skin: E000, E00, E21, E04--

You Color My World

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous day so far!

I have a sweet & simple card to share with you that I created with a new clear stamp from

Isn't she darling??
I found an "ink splat" in Cricut Design Space that I liked and used the shape tool to slice a heart into the center. I cut it out using some patterned paper from the new Painted Crush 6x6 Paper Pad and added it to a piece of white cardstock that I trimmed down to 3.75"x5". I used a few different ink blending brushes and lightly inked around the edges using the ink that was left on the brushes from previous projects. (I'm terrible about cleaning them). I stamped my greeting, also from the Little Artist Kiki Stamp set, towards the bottom and popped up my panel with foam tape onto a white card base. I colored Little Artist Kiki with my Copic markers, used the Coordinating Die to cut her out and popped her up with more foam tape. I finished my card with some glossy accents on the paint palette and some little colored gems on the paint splatter. So cute!!

Copic Colors Used:
**Skin: E50, E51, E21**
**Pants/Shoes: E41, E42**
**Hair: E42, E55, E23**

Life Is Better With A Good Friend!

Hi friends!
I hope you are all having a fabulous day!

I have some pretty exciting news to share...
I'm so happy to announce that I will be joining the Ink N' Splatter Design Team!
I just adore their images and am looking forward to getting creative & being a part of the team!

Here is a look at today's card:

These little frogs...seriously make me smile every time I look at them lol!

To create my card, I started with a Kraft card base in A2 size & layered some patterned paper from the On The Pond paper pack onto the front. I cut a strip of patterned paper, added some twine and notched one end before adding the strip to my card front. I stamped out those adorable frogs, the fly and cattails from the Pond Life Pairables stamp set and colored them with my Copic markers. Once I had them colored in, I cut them out and layered them onto a die cut circle. I stamped my greeting onto a strip of Kraft cardstock, die cut it out and adhered that under my little frogs before popping up my scene piece with foam tape onto the front of my card. I added a bit of shimmer with a Wink Of Stella Clear pen to the wings of the fly and the frog's bow to complete my card.

Aloha!

Hi crafty friends!
I hope this is finding you well and enjoying your Summer!
We have had super hot and humid days so far in my area and it is only the beginning of June!
Warm weather really makes me think about beach days though so I decided to play around with some dies and make a card inspired by the beach.

Here is a look at what I created:

I started by creating my Sunrise panel by blending together some oxide inks in the colors, Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Worn Lipstick. I used the card Mat Dies from Jaded Blossom to cut it out so I would have some stitching around the perimeter. I used the card mat dies again to cut out my Kraft and Blue cardstock so everything would line up on the sides and then used the Tropical Dies (also from JB) for the top of the Sand and Waves. I adhered that panel to a white cardbase and started building my adorable Tiki Bar! I used the Tiki Hut Dies to build my bar and popped it up onto my card with foam tape. I decided some seagulls would be needed so I pulled out a stamp set from Lawn Fawn and stamped just a few for a little visual interest. I added my die cut greeting to the bar along with a tropical flower to the bottom and a few sequins to complete my card.

I love how this turned out and since the entire card (almost) was mainly die cutting, it actually came together rather quickly, gotta love that!

I will be entering my card into the following challenges:

Happy Mother's Day

 Hi everyone!
I hope your Wednesday is off to a fabulous start!
I was able to get a bit of crafting done today and made a card for my mom for
 Mother's Day.

I kept my card pretty simple. I started by creating my card base from some heavy white cardstock. I stamped my image from Simon Says Stamp and colored it in with my Copic markers. Once I had it colored, I used my Scan N Cut to cut it out and set it to the side while I worked on the front of my card. I added a patterned paper border to one side as well as a simple stitched scallop. I separated the two with a piece of pink crochet thread tied into a bow. I stamped my sentiment along the bottom of my card and popped up my image with some foam tape. I completed my card with some Nuvo Drops, stickles and doodles with a white gel pen.

Copic Colors Used:
--Skin: E50, E51, E21--
--Dress: BG11, BG32, BG34--
--Shoes: C3--
--Flowers: R81, R83, R85. Y11, Y13, Y15, Y19. E93, E95. V91, V93, V95, C00, C0.--
