Make A Wish Birthday Card

Hey everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous Saturday!

I wanted to pop in real quick and share with you a card that I finished yesterday for a couple of different challenges.

I made myself a crafty goal this year of trying to buy less and use what I have more. I was able to use some neglected items in my stash with this card. For my little girl, I used a file that I purchased from SVGcuttingfiles a while ago but had only used once. I'm not quite sure why I haven't used her more cause I think she is absolutely darling! I was also able to use a face stamp from Peachy Keen and some stickles. I honestly can't remember when the last time I used either of those was. :( I am so happy that I was able to use up some of my overlooked items and I think my card came out pretty cute. Not to mention I was able to get another birthday card made for my stash of cards. You can never have enough of those right??

I made this with the following challenges in mind:

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and looking at my latest creation!

I hope you have a great crafty day!

Happy Easter Bunny Costume

Happy Friday!!
I hope you had a great week and have some fun things planned for the weekend!

Today I am back with another card to show you that features one of the new stamp sets from
Pink & Main that was released this month.

BlogButton

I love this little guy dressed up in his Bunny Costume and couldn't wait to get a jump start and make a Easter card with him.

Isn't he cute? I decided to do a bit of paper piecing for this little image so I stamped him a few different times onto some different colors of cardstock and fussy cut him out. I layered a few of the pieces with some foam tape to give him some dimension. His feet, ears and hands are all popped up. I think this kinda brought him to life a little :) I colored the egg with Copics and I also added some glossy accents to his Easter egg. The greeting is also in the Bunny Costume set, I simply heat embossed in it white along the bottom of my card. I finished off my tent style card with a pretty little bow and some pearls in the corner.

Smile :)

Hey everyone and happy Tuesday!!
I hope you are all having a great day!

We were snowed in for a bit this past weekend and I was able to get a little crafting in while I watched the snow fall outside. I love watching it snow, as long as I'm inside lol!
I decided to make this fun little winter card for the current

I placed some ink from some distress markers onto a craft mat and added some water to create my watercolors. I colored my walrus and the ice he is sitting on as well as my Stitched Journaling Card. I added a bit of glossy accents to the ice, which faded my watercoloring just a little. It was a happy accident though cause it looks more like ice :) I finished of my card with some sequins and a fun little bow.

I will also be entering my card into the following challenges:

You Stole The Key To My Heart

Happy Friday!
I hope you are staying warm where you are. We are expected to get quite a bit of snow (for our area anyways) this weekend so I plan to stay nice and warm inside the house crafting. Who knows, I may even stay in pajamas all weekend as well lol! That's the dream right?? hehe!

Today I am back with another project for Pink & Main Stamps.

BlogButton

I decided to get a jump start on some Valentine treat bags and this month's Free with $30 purchase stamp set called, Key To My Heart was perfect for that.

To create my bag, I used the Paper Bag Treat Box die from MFT. Once I had that put together, I put it aside and got to work on coloring that cute little raccoon from Pink & Main. After he was all colored and good to go, I used a die from Darice to cut him out and to cut out the pink frame. I adhered both pieces to the front of my bag with some foam tape. I stamped my greeting, also found in the Free with $30 Purchase stamp set, and attached that to the bottom of my bag. I colored that cute little lock and used a circle punch to cut it out and glued it to a small clothespin, I thought that made for a fun little detail. :) I finished off my bag with some pearls around the pink frame.

I love you more than.....

Hey everyone!
I hope you are having a marvelous week so far!

Today I would like to show you a card that I made for the current challenge that is going on over at the Pretty Cute Stamps Blog where the challenge theme is Love
I recently purchased the Game On stamp set with cards for my hubby and son in mind. I made the following card for my son to give to him on Valentine's Day.

For my card, I stamped the controller with some gray ink and the greeting in black. I used some circle dies to cut out my image as well as the red layer behind it. I found some fun gaming patterned paper and notched the ends and attached that to my card and ran some twine through the top. I finished off my card with a few enamel dots. Masculine cards are so hard for me but I think this sentiment is so funny, my son will definitely get a kick out of it!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog today

I really appreciate it!

Card Harmony---The Whole Herd!

Happy Monday!
I hope you had a fabulous weekend!

Today Kimberly and I are back with another Card Harmony post.
Here is a link to my blog post that tells a little bit about what Card Harmony is all about.
We basically take turns purchasing stamps each month and then we both make a card using the same stamp set to see how alike or different our cards turn out. We add a little twist each month though to make it a little more challenging.

This month we are using the stamp set from My Favorite Things titled
I just love all the cute little animals in this stamp set!! I think they are all adorable!
Our twist this month was to use the following sketch from I Heart Sketches:

Here is the card I created based on the above sketch and using the The Whole Herd stamp set:

Like I said earlier, I absolutely love the animals in this set!! They are all so cute with their little expressions! I had a hard time choosing which animals to use lol! Anywho, I stamped all my animals, with a lot of masking, and then colored them in with my Copic markers. Once I had everything colored in, I used some nesting circle dies from WRMK to cut it out, as well as my pink layer that I placed behind my image circle. Once I had the circle cut out, I stamped my greeting and then created a little bit of grass and my sky. I used some pretty papers from the Hey Kid 6x6 paper pad by Pink Paislee and finished off my card with some enamel dots and some doodle lines.

Be sure to check out Kimberly's blog, Kimberly's Crafty Spot to see the card that she made!!
It is fabulous!! I love her card so much!!

Love You Card

Happy Friday!!
I hope your day is going great and that you have some fun things planned for the weekend :)

BlogButton

Today I am back with another card for Pink & Main stamps that uses one of the new stamp sets that was just released called True Love.

I used some shimmery pink cardstock from Neenah for my card base and layered some gray and plaid papers onto it. I cut a piece of gray cardstock and heat embossed the "Love You" from the True Love set with some white embossing powder. I then popped up that layer with some foam adhesive. I used a heart die from spellbinders along with a heart punch and layered the bigger heart and placed it onto my card and then punched out some smaller hearts and placed those onto my card. I added a sequin to each heart to finish it off. Super simple but I love how that "love you" takes center stage on my card! I think that font is absolutely perfect!

Hugs for You!

Happy Friday!
I hope your day is going great and that you have some fun things planned for the weekend :)

BlogButton

Today I am back with another card for Pink & Main stamps that also shows you a little sneak peek of a stamp set that will be releasing in just a couple of days :)

On my card, I used some pattern paper from the Hattie paper pad by My Mind's Eye. After I had my pattern paper adhered to  my card base, I got to work on some stamping. I stamped the little dog from the Animal Faces stamp set twice, once onto brown and again onto white cardstock. I paper pieced him together and then added a sweet little face from the Sweet Faces Set 2 set. I used some square die cuts to create a little frame and then popped my doggie up with some foam tape to give the illusion that he was popping out of the frame. For my greeting, I used one of the new sets titled, Hugs Needed which will be released on 1-10-16. Don't you just love that font?? I adore it! I finished off my card with some enamel dots placed randomly and Voila! Super simple but I think it turned out absolutely adorable!

You're The Coolest!

Hey everyone!
I hope your Tuesday is off to a wonderful start!
Today I just wanted to pop in real quick and share a card that I made for a few different challenges.

I've been having a lot of fun participating in the Card Sketch Challenges over at Scrapbook.com and was excited to sign up again for this month! I love sketches! For my card today, I used Sketch #1 which happens to be this older sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, #136.

Here is the card that I created based on the above sketch:

I adore these little penguins from the Penguins in Paradise set from My Favorite Things. I think they are absolutely adorable!! Since it is cold and snowing off and on in my area today, I thought some bright colors and a tropical penguin was just what I needed lol! Think warm thoughts right?? :)

I am also entering my card into the following challenges:

Pink & Main Challenge #5

Hey everyone!
I hope your Saturday is off to a great start!

Today marks the start of a new challenge over at

The theme for the January challenge is.....
Sparkle!!!
(Think glitter, sequins, foil, anything that sparkles and shines)
You just need to simply create a new project, post it to your blog and enter by adding it to the inlinkz at the Pink & Main Challenge Blog.
Easy Peasy!!

Here is the card that I created for the challenge:

For my card, I decided to do a little watercoloring. I used some distress inks and blended them together onto some watercolor cardstock. I then got a wet brush and blended them even more, as well as creating the watercolor effect. I set that layer aside and let it dry. I then took a piece of white cardstock and ran some versamark ink all the way around the edges. I sprinkled on some gold embossing powder and then used my heat gun to melt the powder. I used some foam tape to attach it to my card base. Once my watercolor piece was dry, I took some gold shimmer mist and sprinkled some onto my watercolor piece. I heat embossed that cute little greeting with more gold embossing powder onto a piece of vellum and then attached it by wrapping it and securing it to the back of the watercolor and then layered that onto my card with more foam tape. I finished off my card with some shiny gold sequins.

P.S. Isn't that greeting so sweet?? It's a little sneak peek from one of the new sets that will be releasing on January 10th titled, "Hello Sweet" from Pink & Main.  I love the font and that big "Sweet"!

I hope you will create a project and join us for the

I'm Bananas over you!

Happy New Year!!!
I hope you had a super fun New Year's Eve!

Today I am back to share with you a card I created with some stamps that will be releasing soon from Pink & Main.

BlogButton

For the following card, I used some stamps from the set titled, "Go Banana's" that will be releasing on Jan. 10, 2016.

Since we are now into the new year, Valentine's Day will be here before we know it! Time just seems to move too quickly doesn't it?? Anywho, I thought these little monkey's would make a cute little Valentine. I colored the image with my copics and then used an oval die to cut it out. I then layered that onto another oval. I created my card base from some kraft cardstock and layered some white cardstock onto it and stamped my greeting, also from the Go Banana's set. I then wrapped some ribbon around some yellow patterned paper and popped it up with some with foam tape. I attached my monkeys and finished off the card with a few enamel dots.
