Beary Best Back To School Wishes!

Today I get to show you a cute little card that showcases those awesome

Joy's Life Stamps!

This week the design team is showing you projects that

have the theme of Back To School!

I decided to make a card to send to my daughter, who is away at college, to wish her luck this school year.

For my card, I cut out that adorable little teddy bear from the Teddy Bear Parade Cricut Lite cartridge at 3.25". I chalked up her cheeks and added a few freckles with my white gel pen. I paired her up with that awesome sentiment from the Punny Animals stamp set.

Hi! I love doing challenges and am always looking for new ones. Today's card was made for the sketch challenge #177 over at Card Positioning Systems. This is my first time playing along with them but as soon as I saw the sketch, I knew I had to play along.



I have a feeling they are going to be seeing me a whole lot more over there. :) I had a lot of fun! If you know of any great challenge blogs, let me know in the comments. Like I said, I love challenges. :)

Oh my goodness! I can't believe it is Friday already. This week seems to have flown by.

Here are the next 2 cards in the Wild Card series.

The first one is the Star card, #28 in the book. I used fit to page and cut out everything at 5 1/2". I then took one of the stars that were cut out from the envelope and attached that to the card base, used my white signo pen to add a little bit of doodling and voila! done! This card was pretty straight forward and did not take more than a few minutes to complete.




The second card for this week is the WOW! card, #29 in the book. I used fit to page and cut out everything at 4". Caution: The card is longer than the envie, so I had to do fit to page for the card first before the envie on this one to figure out the measurements. I love the envelope that comes with this card. Again, this was a pretty simple and easy card to assemble. I added a little doodling, but that's about it. :)

Good Morning! Today's card is a card I made to play along with the sketch over at Mojo Monday week 139.



I love their sketches and I am quite pleased with how this card came out. I think it came out so cute! So sorry for the bad picture, I can never seem to photograph reds or purples very well. :) Thanks for stopping by!

WIld Card #1 Scallop Card

Hi! Happy Friday! Last night I was going through my cricut cartridges and trying to figure out a project to do. I ran across my Wild Card Cartridge and decided to give it a try. I have made a couple of cards from this cartridge, but I haven't really explored it too well. I decided that I will be exploring the cartridge a bit more and am going to be making Friday's my Wild Card day. It might give you some ideas and it will definitely help me to get the most out of my cartridge! :) For this card, I used the scallop card which is #1 in the book. I cut out everything at 3 1/2 inches. I used some DMC floss to help "tie" the card closed. I think it came out really cute and am pretty happy with it. I love the envelope! It is so dainty and girly!
