Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your summer!
Summer is always so busy and it seems like I spend less time in my craft room.
Anyone else like that?
Today I was determined to get into my room and create a card though and I'm happy to say that I did!! Yay!! lol!
I created my card using an adorable image from
Isn't this little Sailor Bear the cutest?
I thought he was just perfect to create a summer themed Hello card.
To create my card, I started with a dark blue A2 cardbase and layered some patterned paper on top. I embossed some red cardstock with a polka dot embossing folder and added that to the bottom of my card base. I added a thin strip of white cardstock and wrapped some twine around, tying it off with a bow. I printed out that adorable teddy and colored him with my Copic markers. I used my Scan N Cut to cut him out and popped him up onto a die cut circle with foam tape. I printed out my sentiment and popped that up with more foam tape to complete my card.
Copic Colors Used:
--Bear: E50, E31, E33, E59, R22, R20--
--Shirt/Hat: C00, C0, R27, R39, B37--
--Boat: B32, B34, B37, R39, C00--
I would like to play along with the following challenges:
