Mrs. Claus Baking Co.

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday!

It's my day to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog 

and keeping with the "Christmas in July" mindset that I am currently in, I decided to make a Christmas card to add to my stash for this upcoming holiday season. 

Here is a look at the card that I created:

Isn't this Mrs. Claus the sweetest? I just think she is so adorable!

I created my card by using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 and cutting out two pieces of patterned paper. I cut down the striped patterned paper into a 1.75" strip and adhered it to my other piece of patterned paper before adding them to my white A2 card base. I cut out a smaller scallop by using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 once again and stamped my greeting from the Mrs. Claus Baking Co. stamp set into the bottom right corner. I added some doodling and then popped up the sentiment piece onto my card with foam tape. I stamped Mrs. Claus with some Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with my Copic markers. I fussy cut her out and added her to my sentiment panel. I added some holly from the Christmas Dies and some more doodling to the perimeter of my card to complete the look. 

I added just a touch of sparkle to her hair bow and to the center of the heart cookie. 

One Christmas card down, many more to go haha!

Jaded Blossom's July Challenge!

Hi everyone and happy July!!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom blog!!

This month is.....

Anything Goes, with the option of Christmas in July!

 We would love to see your projects that use those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps/dies!

Challenge Guidelines: 

1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back linking

2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp, die, or stencil somewhere on it. 

3) Only one entry per person

Here is a look at what I created to share with you today...

I love being able to get a little ahead of the holiday season and do as many Christmas in July projects as I can, so this challenge was the perfect time to make a couple of gift card holders.

I used the Stocking Gift Card Die and cut it out twice (to make 2 gift cards) from some white cardstock. I cut them out again, using some patterned papers so that I could layer on top of my white base. I added a little tag that I created using the Gift Tags stamp set and the Mini Tag Dies 2 and adhered that to the upper corner. I created a little double bow using the Bow Dies and added a little puffy Santa sticker to the center before adding it to the top of my tag. 

I added some white doodles and some small puffy stickers to finish my gift card holders.

Jaded Blossom's July Mini Release Day 2!

Hey Everyone! 

It's time for Jaded Blossom's July 2025 Celebration Sale & Release!

 Here is a look at what I created using some of the new items...

Isn't this little RV Camper the cutest? 

I created a white A2 cardbase and cut out some patterned papers using the Postage Dies and Spring Dies (grassy edge) and adhered them together. I added some crochet thread to the top before affixing my background panel to my card base. I built that adorable little camper using the Car Dies: RV Camper and added a little gnome that I built using the Mini Girl Gnome Dies. I stamped out my sentiment using some black ink and the Bait Shop stamp set, trimmed it down and added her little hands so that it appeared as if she was holding a little poster board sign. I used the Spring Embellishment Cluster Die to cut out some flowers and added those to my card as well. I finished off my card with some enamel dots to the flower centers and a bow on my crochet thread.

I created my card by first making a white A2 top folding card. I cut out some cloud patterned paper using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 and added that to my card. I die cut that fun new Hot Air Balloon and added one of the new Mini Girl Gnome Dies to the inside of the basket. I added that to my card and tucked a couple of clouds from the Spring Dies 2 behind. I cut out another cloud and added a sentiment from the Sky Is The Limit and added that in front of the Hot Air Balloon. I finished my card with some stars cut out using the Embellishment Clusters Die!

 

I love that we now have smaller gnomes!!!

Some days you're the dog...

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

It's my day to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog 

and I created a fun card to offer some encouragement, or even just a good ol' laugh, using one of those adorable little dogs that was just released this month from JB called Gnome Friends: Dog Dies.  

Here is a look at the card that I created:

 

How fun right??

To create my card, I started with a white A2 card base and added some blue patterned paper that I cut out using the Stylized Rectangle Dies. I used the Stylized Rectangle Dies again to cut out a piece of green and brown patterned paper, so that I could match up the stitching along the edges. Once I had them cut out, I used the Mushroom Dies to create a grassy hill and the Tree Swing Die to cut out a tree branch and added them both to my card. I created the hydrant by using the Gnome Dies: Firefighter Add Ons, popping up some of the layers with foam tape for a little dimension. I built my little doggy by using the Gnome Friends: Dog Dies, added some enamel dots for his eyes, and placed him next to the hydrant. I stamped my sentiment using the Dog Gone Awesome Stamp set with some Versafine Onyx Black Ink and used the Dog Gone Awesome Outline dies to cut it out. I added a little enamel dot to the hydrant and a few random white doodles to complete my card. 

This sentiment just makes me giggle! I'm sure we've all had days like that right? lol

Jaded Blossom's June Release Blog Hop!

Hey Everyone! 

 Welcome to Jaded Blossom's June Stamp Release Blog Hop.

Here is what I made:

Here's how I made it....

I started by using the Milk Carton Die and cutting it out using red cardstock. After assembling the Milk Carton, I used the scallop die that comes with it to cut out a few pieces from dark gray cardstock to make the roof. To create the door, I used the Stitched Arch Dies and the same dark gray cardstock. I used the Gnome Friends: Dog Dies & the Gnome Dies: Pet Add Ons to create my little doggy, adding some gray ink here and there to resemble my daughter's dog. I added a sprig of grass by using the Tree Stump Die and placed a little bowl of bones using the Gnome Dies: Pet Add Ons, in front of the grass. I added his initial to the front by using the Build A Booth: Alphabet Add Ons. 

I stamped my greeting from Life Is Tweet, used the coordinating Life Is Tweet Outline Dies to cut it out, and popped it up with foam tape onto the roof. 

Inside, I used the 3x8 clear bags to hold some little dog treats.

I adhered a bow with some hot glue to a twist tie for an easy closure for my box.

My grandson is a little over a year old now but I also love to spoil my daughter's doggo, aka my "granddog". I include him in each holiday and when I saw this release, I knew it would be perfect to make this fun little box to hold a little treat for him to have the next time I visited. 

Can't have him feeling neglected with the new baby can we??

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today...

 

When I saw the stamp set being released today, I knew I wanted to keep the card simple. 

I wanted the focus to be on the sentiment and the doggy. ♡

 I created an A2 cardbase using some white cardstock and trimmed down some paw print patterned paper to layer on top. I stamped my sentiment from the Furever In Our Hearts stamp set onto a piece of red cardstock and then cut it out using the Heart Dies 2. I placed the heart onto the card and added that cute little doggy that I created using the Gnome Friends: Dog Dies on top, offsetting it just a bit. I used the Banner Dies to cut out a smaller heart for the pup to hold. I used the Heart Dies 2 once more to cut out a light gray heart, popping it up with some foam tape onto the red heart. I completed my card with a bit of doodling around the perimeter of the card, a small thread bow and a couple of white puffy heart stickers.

What a little cutie!!

I made my card by first creating a white A2 top folding card base. I die cut some yarn patterned paper using the Card Mat Dies and adhered that to my card front. I created a tag using the Luggage Tag Dies and placed that on my card with a little liquid glue. I cut a strip of plaid patterned paper, layered that on top of my tag and added a Ric Rak border to the top and bottom by cutting some patterned paper out using the Border Dies. I created that adorable little kitten by using the Gnome Friends: Cat Dies and the Cat Faces stamp set and adhered her to my card. I used the Life Is Tweet stamp and Life Is Tweet Outline Dies for my sentiment, popping it up with some foam tape next to the little kitty. I finished my card by adding a little bow that I created with the Bow Dies, adding a little puffy heart to the center.
