Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom blog!!
This month is.....
The 80's!!
We would love to see your projects that use those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps/dies!
Challenge Guidelines:
1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back linking
2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp, die, or stencil somewhere on it.
3) Only one entry per person
Here is a look at what I created to share with you today...
Man how I miss the 80's! The neon, sitting in front of the radio to record my favorite songs from the countdown & coming home when the streetlights came on! Those were the good ol days!!
I started my card by creating an A2 cardbase from some black cardstock. I used the Border Dies and cut some strips of patterned paper from an older paper pack that had some bright neon colors and adhered them to my card front. I made sure to add a little space between each strip so that the black would show through, helping the colors pop! I used the Stylized Scallop Rectangle Dies & the Stylized Rectangle Dies to create a frame, stamped my sentiment from the Music To My Ears stamp set along the bottom and added it to my card. I colored the cassette tape from the Music To My Ears stamp set with my Copic markers and fussy cut it out, popping it up with foam tape above my sentiment. I rounded 2 corners of my card, added some doodling and also some hearts that I cut out using the Banner Dies and Embellishment Clusters Die to complete my card!
I think this turned out so cute!!
