MCT Scrapping The Little Things

Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!!

Today at the My Creative Time blog, it is Scrapping The Little Things.
This is the day that we create a scrapbook page, smash book page or a project life page.
This is perfect for me cause I am sooooo behind on my layouts!!

I based my layout on this sketch from PageMaps June 2011

Here is the layout that I created:

This is a 12x12 double layout from when we picked up our yellow lab puppy. We had to drive through 2 states to get to him but he was just what we wanted and oh so perfect!!  I wanted to incorporate some of his features on my layout so I used green for his eyes and brown for his nose and of course, since he is a boy, some blue. He is now 7 years old (I told you I was behind on my layouts haha!) and is spoiled rotten. He is so much a part of our family that I just couldn't imagine life without him.

For the left side, I used the Stitched Tab Die, so that I had a place to write the month/year. I also used the Fun Stitched Edges for the fun little border. My hearts came from the Stitched Sweetheart & XOXO die set.

For the right side, I used the Fun Stitched Edges not only for the fun top white border but for the green scallop as well. I used the Lowercase Fun Dies for my title and I used the hearts from the Stitched Sweetheart & XOXO dies for my hearts as well as my little pawprint. I simply turned the medium heart upside down and the used the middles of the P's to make it.

I am so happy that I finally got a layout for my album completed.
Don't forget to head over to the My Creative Time blog to see more projects from my Design Team sisters!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation! I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a fabulous crafty day!

What a sweet layout, Stacey! Your little paw print is so clever! And your puppy is so adorable! Don't feel bad, I'm still scrapping photos that are much older than 7 years. It's kind of fun to pull out those memories, though!
