The Monster Demands Candy!!

Hi everyone!

Today is my day to post over at the Jaded Blossom blog and I made a super cute Halloween treat to share with you all today.

I just couldn't resist playing with the new Candy Bar Slider Die from the most recent release again. It's just so fun to decorate these candy bar holders!! I created my holder by using some purple cardstock and cutting it out using the Candy Bar Slider Die. I used the layering piece and cut it from some black cardstock and some fun candy themed patterned paper. I added my greeting from the Let's Be Frank stamp set and heat embossed it with some white embossing powder. I used the Border Dies to add a green scallop to separate the black cardstock and patterned paper, added some orange crochet thread and adhered my decorated piece to my candy bar slider. I colored that adorable little Frankie from the Let's Be Frank stamp set with my copics and popped him up with some foam tape. I completed my little holder by adding a few enamel dots.

So incredibly fun and cute!!!

I hope your week is off to a great start!

I wanted to pop in real quick and share a fun Halloween card that I made with a few challenges in mind.

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you all:

I had so much fun making this! I started out by creating my background by using some Distress Oxide inks and blending them together. Once that was done, I added some "stars" by flicking some white paint with a paintbrush all over the background.  I added some Liquid Stardust in the same way to add some more interest and some sparkle. I started building my scene by adding some tress,  the ground and bat with the Spooky Scene Die from Hello Bluebird. I added a bit more sparkle to the bat with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen. I used the Halloween Party stamp set, also from Hello Bluebird, and colored that sweet kitty and the string of lights with my Copic markers. I used my Scan N Cut2 to cut out my stamped images and then added them to my scene. I cut some pumpkins out from the Gallery Frame Die #3 as well as that fun Ric Rac Frame Border, added my greeting to one of my pumpkins and then added the entire panel to a gray card base.  I finished my card by adding some Glow In The Dark Nuvo drops to the lights for a fun little surprise.

Jaded Blossom's September Release Blog Hop!

Hey Everyone!  Welcome to Jaded Blossom's September Stamp Release Blog Hop.  

Now if you're here from Tina's Blog you're in the right place, if you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom.
Here is what I made to share with you today:

I created my candy holder by using the Gable Box Die and cutting it from some purple cardstock. I cut off the front flap & added a ric rac border along the inside front edge by using the Border Dies. I colored that awesome new Potion Village Shop with my Copic markers, fussy cut it out and popped it up with some foam tape. I used the Halloween Dies for my spider web and bat and added a few stars from the Halloween Scenic Dies. I completed my box with a bow that I made from some fun Doodlebug paper and the Bow Dies and filled it with some green apple taffy.

I wanted to create a little 3x3 notecard to go along with my candy gift. I used some more of the purple cardstock along with a cloud stencil to ink up a night sky with some Black Soot Distress Oxide ink. I used the Stitched Circle Dies and cut my moon from some white cardstock, inking it up with some Distress Oxide inks for a soft yellow glow. I added some more stars from the Halloween Scenic Dies, a bat from the Halloween Dies and a greeting from the Halloween Poop stamp set. A black twine bow completed my little card. 

I think this makes such a fun little Halloween set to give to someone!!

Jaded Blossom's September Release: Day 5!

Here is a look at the project that I created to share with you today:

I used the Dainty Topper Die and created my topper base with some kraft cardstock and added some  polka dot patterned paper for the layer piece. I heat embossed my greeting from the Gobble Gobble stamp set with some black ink and clear embossing powder. I colored that adorable Turkey from the Turkey Tag stamp set with my Copics, fussy cut him out and popped him up with some foam tape. I added some Candy Corn and chocolate covered peanuts to a 3x4 Clear Bag and added my topped to the top. I completed the look by adding a hemp twine bow and some Nuvo drops. What a fun and adorable way to give a little treat!

Jaded Blossom's September Release: Day 4!

Hey crafty friends!!

It's day 4 of the Jaded Blossom September Release and we are showing you 2 new spooky cute stamp sets called, Haunted House Village and Potion Village Shop.

Here is a look at what I created to share with you today:

I love having small little goodies to have on hand to give out, especially at Halloween time and this little Haunted House needed to be front and center on one lol! I colored up this spooky cute house with my Copic markers and used my Scan n Cut to cut out the house as well as the pumpkins and ghost. I created my pocket by using some gray cardstock and the Paper Bag Die. I used some Black Soot Distress Oxide ink and inked around all the edges of my Paper Bag. I attached my house to the front and popped up the pumpkins and ghost with some foam tape. I used the Halloween Dies 2 to die cut the word BOO and placed that along the top back of my bag. I completed it by tying some purple tulle into a knot and adding a couple of candy bars to the inside. 👻

Today we are giving you a look at Fall Flourish.
Here is a look at what I created to share with you today:

I used the Ric Rac Topper die to create my topper from some brown cardstock. I added some wood grain patterned paper as a layer and colored that pretty pumpkin with the succulents from the Fall Flourish stamp set with my Copic markers. I fussy cut it out and popped it up with some foam tape onto my topper. I heat embossed my greeting with some gold embossing powder and used the Mini Tag Dies 3 to cut it out. I tucked it behind my pumpkin a bit and added a few gold sequins. I attached my topper piece to a Gusset bag that I filled with some pumpkin candy and tied a bow with some hemp twine to finish it. So pretty!

Today we are giving you a look at the Fall Coffee Art 2 stamp set.
Here is a look at what I created to share with you:

I decided to make a shaped card using the Coffee Slider Die. Once I had my card base made, I added the sleeve, lid and a hemp cord bow. I stamped that pretty leaf from the Fall Coffee Art 2 stamp set with some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink and did some simple Copic coloring. I used the Stitched Circle Dies to cut it out and popped it up onto a scallop circle from the Scallop Circle Dies. I stamped my greeting from the Fall Coffee Art 2 stamp set, notched one end and tucked it behind my stitched circle layer. I completed my card with a few gold sequins.

I think it turned out so pretty and I'm so ready for Fall!

Here is a look at what I created using a couple of the new sets along with a couple of oldies but goodies.

I created my candy bar holder by cutting some orange cardstock out using the new Candy Bar Slider Die and adhering the two pieces together to form my box. I used the stitched layering piece that comes with it to cut out some colorful patterned paper from Doodlebug, added a scallop towards the bottom using the Border Dies and attached it to the front of my candy bar holder. I colored that adorable little pup from the From Our Patch To Yours stamp set with my copics and used my Scan N Cut to cut him out. I popped him up with some foam tape onto a tag from the Treat Tag Die and used some tulle to tie it and my greeting onto my candy bar slider. I completed my project by adding some enamel stars and a few Nuvo drops. 

My chocolate bar fits perfectly inside!! So adorable!!
