Jaded Blossom's February Release Blog Hop!

Hey Everyone!  

Welcome to Jaded Blossom's February Stamp Release Blog Hop.

Here is a look at what I made to share with you today:

I thought it would be cute to alter a little tin mailbox. I purchased these mailboxes a couple of years ago from the Target Dollar Spot but I still had some so it worked out perfectly for this month's release! I started by wrapping my mailbox with some fun patterned paper from Pink Paislee. I stamped that fun little envelope image from the Special Delivery stamp set, colored it with my Copic markers and used the Stitched Circle Dies to cut it out. I adhered it to the front of my mailbox near the top so that I had room for the greeting underneath. I stamped my greeting from the Funny Mail 3 stamp set, cut it out using the Mini Tag Dies 3 and then popped it up with some foam tape. To decorate the side, I stamped a greeting from the Funny Mail 3 stamp set, used the Mini Tag Dies 3 to cut it out and tied it onto the flag by using some white tulle.

Inside I placed some candy and crafty items.

I also made a fun little card that fits perfectly inside the mailbox. 

I created my little note card by using the Stitched Square Dies and cutting it from some white cardstock. I decorated the top with a banner from the Banner Dies and fussy cut a little envelope from the patterned paper for the bottom right corner. I used the Envelope Dies to created my envelope and added a heart from the Heart Dies 1 with a greeting from the Funny Mail 2 (revamp) for the closure. I added a small enamel heart and a little tulle bow to complete the look of my envelope.

I think this turned out so cute and hopefully it brightens someone's day!

 Who doesn't like getting a little happy mail right??

Jaded Blossom's February Release: Day 5!

Here is a quick recap of the projects I made this week......

....and that brings us to today.

Today we are showing you projects featuring the freebie stamp set.

Here is a look at the project that I created to share with you today:

I decided to make a little shaped card with some fun little crafty goodies tucked into the front pocket using the Mailbox Die. I created my card by using the Mailbox die and cutting it out twice from some gray cardstock. I assembled one of the mailboxes as if I was making the gift card holder and then on the second mailbox, I simply cut off the pocket flap, scored along the top edge and glued the two mailboxes together at the top to form a card. I stamped my greeting from the Funny Mail 3 stamp set and added some hearts that I cut out using the Banner Dies. I cut my envelope from the Envelope Dies, inked around the edges and then used one of those precious little faces from the Mail Faces stamp set. I tied a little crochet thread bow and added some enamel hearts and white Nuvo drops to complete my card.

Inside the pocket, I added some enamel shapes and some coordinating Washi.

I think this is such a fun way to send a little crafty mail to a friend and make their day a little brighter.

Jaded Blossom's February Release: Day 4!

Hey crafty friends!!

It's day 4 of the Jaded Blossom February Release and we are showing you a really pretty stamp set called, 

Catch Your Dreams.

Here is a look at what I created to share with you today:

I made a little bag to hold some candy by using the Goody Bag Die and cutting it from some Kraft cardstock. I assembled my bag and then stamped my image and sentiment from the Catch Your Dreams stamp set onto a piece of white cardstock. I colored the image with my Copic markers and then used the layering piece in the Goody Bag Die to cut it out. I added it to the front of my bag and added a few Nuvo drops. I used the Candy Wrap Dies to wrap my little chocolates with some more Kraft cardstock. To keep everything securely inside the bag, I simply used a hole punch and tied it shut with some hemp cord.

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

I love this sweet little mailbox image in the Special Delivery stamp set and couldn't wait to color it up and make a sweet little "just because" card to have in my stash. After I had the image colored in with my Copic markers, I stamped the greeting along the top and used the Rectangle Dies 2 to cut it out. I added some freehand grass along the bottom edge and then used a light blue Copic marker to highlight the perimeter to act as the sky. I popped it up with some foam tape onto a piece of pink cardstock that I cut out using the Postage Dies. I adhered everything onto my cardbase and finished my card with some light pink crochet thread, tying it off into a bow and leaving the tails long.

So pretty!

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

I love this fun new Brick Stencil and thought it would be fun to pair it with a greeting from the Funny Mail 3 and create a little scene with a Cricut cut! Yup! I went "old school" lol! 

To create my card, I started with a light gray piece of cardstock to form my card base. I pulled out some Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink and the Brick Stencil to create my wall onto a piece of white cardstock. Once I had that created, I used the Rectangle Dies 2 to cut it out and adhered it to my card base. I added some grass by using the Spring Dies and then cut my Snail out from the Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge, tucking it in between the two layers of grass. I stamped my sentiment from the Funny Mail 3 onto a piece of white cardstock, used the Mini Tag Dies 3 to cut it out and adhered it to my scene. I completed my card with a little enamel heart on the envelope, some white doodles with my gel pen and a little crochet thread bow.

Here is a look at what I created to share with you today using some of the new products:

This new little Mailbox die is so incredibly cute and can be used in so many ways! One of my new crafty goals for this year was to make 1 Christmas card/project a month so that it might help out a little during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. This new die was perfect to get a gift card holder made and set aside so that when the time comes, it will be ready and waiting! I cut my gift card holder from some double sided patterned paper & stamped my greeting from the Postal stamp set with some black ink. I used the Christmas Dies to cut out some holly leaves and berries and adhered that near my sentiment. I added some green ribbon, leaving the tails extra long in case I want to tie it to a package and tied a little hemp bow to secure it to the gift card holder. I completed it with some enamel dots, a sequin and a couple of white Nuvo drops. 

So cute!!

Spidey Senses....

Hi everyone and happy happy Monday!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Bitten By The Bug 2 Challenge Blog!

The theme for this challenge is...

For The Men In Our Lives.

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today

We love all things Marvel in my household, especially Spidey, so of course I just had to create something using this adorable little Kawaii Spiderman. I created my card base from some red cardstock and cut out a piece of white cardstock using a stitched die from Jaded Blossom. I inked around all the edges and did a little doodling with a black pen. I added a web border from the Artiste cartridge, cut at 4" wide, to the top. The Kawaii Spidey came from the Marvel Spider-Man Kawaii cartridge and I cut him out at 2" wide. I popped him up with some foam tape for a bit of dimension. I stamped my greeting using a fun sentiment from Jaded Blossom and added it to the bottom of my card. I completed the look of my card with some black enamel dots. 

So cute!
