Trick Or Treat Treat Box

Hi friends!
I hope you are having a wonderful day!

It's the first of the month and that means it is time for a new challenge at

Here is a look at the photo inspiration for this month:

How cool is that picture? So much inspiration! However, if the picture doesn't strike your fancy, you can enter a FALL themed project. The picture is purely optional.

Here is a look at the project that I created for this month:

I love all things Halloween and I love making little gifts to give to my family throughout the season, and this little Witch Hat box from SVGCuts.com was the perfect choice to go along with the above inspirational photo. Win Win! Did I mention how easy this was?? So easy! I cut out my hat from some black cardstock and added a bit of ink along all the score lines before assembling. I cut the hat band from some bright polka dotted paper from Doodlebug and added a silver glitter buckle, inking along the band before adding it to my hat. I snipped the back off of a Trick Or Treat brad that I've had in my stash for a while and popped it up with some foam tape. I added a button and some enamel dots as well as an adorable little spider (also from doodlebug) to the front of the hat. I felt like it needed a bit more whimsy though so I used a bat paper punch and punched out 6 bats. I sandwiched some thin wire in-between to make three "flying" bats, wrapped them around a lollipop stick for some curl and threaded them through the tiny hole in the top of my hat. I secured them inside the hat with some glue dots.

Inside, I placed some bright green paper shred and some chocolate peanut butter bats.
 How fun!!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you will head over to The Four Seasons Challenge Blog
to see what my DT Sisters created and create a project to play along!
I can't wait to see what you create!
I hope you have a great crafty day!
