Hi everyone!
Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom blog!!
With warmer months approaching, we would love to see your projects that use
Warm Colors!
(Red, Pink, Yellow, and Orange)
and of course some of those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps/dies!
Here is a look at my take on the challenge:
I used some distress oxide inks to create my background in the colors Fired Brick, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade and Wild Honey. I did end up going in with a tiny bit of Squeezed Lemonade to brighten up my yellow section. Once I had that blended the way I liked, I set it aside so it could dry a bit. While that was drying, I stamped my flowers and leaves from the Tulips stamp set onto some Vellum using white ink and then heat embossed them using white embossing powder. I used the coordinating Tulips Outline Dies to cut them out. I cut down my ink blended panel and added it to a white A2 cardbase. I used the largest die in the Rectangle Internal Scallops set and cut it out 3 times. I glued them together and added them to my card front. I arranged my Tulips and added them to the card, along with a sentiment from the So Many Birthdays 3 stamp set. I completed my card by adding a few clear sequins. I think this turned out so pretty!
Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom blog to see what the rest of the DT made, they never disappoint!
I hope you will play along, I would love to see what you make!

I hope you have a great crafty day!
