Hi everyone!
I hope your day is off to a fabulous start!
Can you believe we are in December already??
I'm pretty sure that the older I get, the faster time goes by haha!
I wanted to stop in and share a fun little treat pocket that I created for someone,
as well as playing along with a few challenges.
Here is a look at my project...
Super cute right??
This adorable image is called Sophie Mae Christmas and she is a newly released digital stamp from Digi Doodle Studios. As soon as I saw her, I thought she was so incredibly cute and had to have her haha!
Here is how I created my cocoa holder...
I started by creating my base by using an envelope die from Jaded Blossom, scoring the sides and bottom to create a "box/pocket" and cutting off the top flap from the envelope that would end up being in the front. I don't really remember the exact measurement of the score lines, I placed my cocoa packets on top and scored accordingly. Before gluing the box together, I adhered my patterned paper to make it a bit easier.
I printed out Sophie Mae Christmas onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored her in with my Copic markers. Once I had her colored, I fussy cut her out and added some white flocking powder to her little hair pom. I decided to add a little more dimension, so I printed her out again, colored her mitten and coffee cup, fussy cut it out and added to that my image with foam tape to give a little 3D look to the image. I die cut a scallop circle and layered my sentiment underneath, adding both to the front of my pocket. I popped up my image with more foam tape and added some snowflake sequins and Nuvo drops around her. I finished my project by creating a double bow and adding some festive bells to the center.
