Hi everyone and happy Monday!
I hope your weekend was fun and crafty!
Today I am popping in to share a simple Christmas card that I created with a couple of different challenges in mind. I know, I know, it's only June but I love getting a jump start on some of the holiday crafting. It just makes my life a little less hectic come December.
Here is a look at my card...
I love these non traditional colors!
I started by creating an A2 card using some Crumb Cake cardstock from SU!. I layered a piece of patterned paper on top and added the strip of coordinating papers on top. I die cut a snowflake from some white glitter cardstock and placed that on top, adding a button and bow to the center. I used a pre- printed sentiment strip, flagging the end, and popped that up with foam tape. I added some little drops of "snow" by using the scrap glitter paper from the snowflake and a regular paper hole punch to create some dots.
While I had everything out on my desk, I made two of the same card.
The button/bow combo makes it a little bulkier than I like for mailing but I will just make sure these go to some local friends so they can get hand delivered.
I would like to play along with the following challenges:
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!
I appreciate it so very much!
I hope you have a great crafty day!
