Hi everyone and Happy Monday!
Digi Doodle Studios released some new images a few days ago and
I wanted to stop by and share a project that I created using one of the newly released images called
I am ready for Christmas, we even put up our tree yesterday. No decorations on it or the rest of the house just yet but the soft glow of the lights last night sure was pretty! I think Christmas lights are good for the soul lol! Anyone else do any holiday decorating yet?
Back to my card....
I printed out my image, Peppermint Kringle, onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored him with Copic markers. Once I had him colored, I used an oval die to cut him out and set him aside while I worked on the rest of my card. I covered my A2 top folding cardbase with some festive patterned paper. I trimmed down a piece of red patterned paper, giving the bottom a fishtail edge, added some crochet thread to the top and popped it up onto my card front with foam tape. I added my image with more foam tape and added my greeting to the bottom of my oval. I finished my card with some glitter on his wings, some snowflake sequins and a few white Nuvo drops.
I think he is just so sweet!!
