Way To Go & Main Street.

Here is the card that I made using the new set called:

Way To Go

Isn't the bicycle and sentiment the cutest thing ever??? My little banner came from the 4x4 Journal Die + More set and I also used a scalloped border from the Fun Stitched Edges dies. 

My second card for you today showcases some items from the new set called Main Street:

I love those cute little buildings and look....another darling little bike! Too cute!!!

I got my grass from the Home Sewn stamp set and just fussy cut them out and adhered them to my card. Those adorable little clouds came from the Stitched Cartoon Cloud dies.

Day 1 of the MCT April Sneak Peeks!

Happy Monday!!

Welcome to Day 1 of the My Creative Time sneak peeks for April!

I'm so glad you stopped by to see the sneaks!

 I know I say this with every release but.....

this release is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!

Today I will be showing you some projects that I made with the 

*NEW* Spring Wreaths & the *NEW* Build A Pretty Flower sets

First up is the card I made with the Build A Pretty Flower set:

For my card, I used the Treat Slider Box Die to create that fun scalloped layer. Then I used some stamps from the new set called, Build A Pretty Flower to create a pretty little scene on a piece of white cardstock and then added a sentiment from the Teeny Tag Greetings stamp set. I then took my white layer and popped it up onto the fun green panel with some foam adhesive. Aren't those flowers awesome??

For my second project, I made a tag that showcases the 

Pretty Spring Wreaths set:

For my tag base, I used the scalloped tag from the Tag Dies set. Isn't that wreath from the Pretty Spring Wreaths beautiful? I love it!! Now, I have a tag all ready to go to put on my mom's Mother's Day gift.

Today I am here to show you one last Easter project (at least for this year) that showcases some of that gorgeous rumple ribbon from LoveBug Creations. .

For my box, I used the Peeking Bunny Basket Box from SVGCuttingfiles. It was so easy to put together and quick! After I had my box all put together, I added some little roses from Recollections to the bottom corner.

It didn't look complete though until I added her cute little rumple ribbon bow. 

Look at her cute little bow made from some of that gorgeous Spring Lilac Rumple Ribbon.

MCT: Try Me Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday!

Today over at the My Creative Time blog, it is Try Me Tuesday!

The technique that we are trying today is Ghost Stamping. 

In case you don't know (like I didn't), Ghost Stamping is when you stamp your images in white and then stamp again but slightly offset so that some of the white shows through. 

Here is the card that I created for this Try Me Tuesday:

For my card, I stamped the flowers from the Fun Pockets set, first in white and then again in black. I then proceeded to color them in with some markers. I used the Curly Label die and the Stitched Curly Label Die for my sentiment and then I used some white embossing powder to make my sentiment from the It's All About You set pop off of the kraft cardstock. 

This was the first time that I tried this technique and I love it!!

It creates such a cool effect! I really like how some of the white peeks around the flower as well as inside the petals and leaves.
