Congrats On Your New Pad

I wanted to share a card that I made for my daughter, who recently moved out and got her own place. I miss her so very much and my house is definitely different but I am so excited for her at the same time!

I created a little scene by creating some water using some Broken China Distress Oxide Inks and my sky using a cloud stencil and some Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Inks. I colored the lily pads, cattails and that adorable little frog with my Copic markers. I added my greeting onto a strip of white cardstock, notched one end and popped it up onto my card with some foam tape. I added a little pink crochet thread bow and added my image panel onto my card front. So super cute!! I know she will get a kick out of this when she receives it :)

Easter Envelope Treats

Hi everyone!

Today I have some adorable Easter themed treats to share with you that I created using those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps and dies!

It was really easy to create these fun little treat pockets. I used the Envelope Dies and created another score line on each side and bottom panel, about a 1/4" from the premade score line, to create a wider area to tuck a treat in. I covered it with some plaid patterned paper and added a bit of grass along the bottom using the Spring Dies. I colored that sweet image from the Easter Basket Fun stamp set with my Copic markers, fussy cut it out and popped it up with some foam tape. I stamped my greeting and used a label from the Label Shape Dies to cut it out and added it to the top. I added a little Easter egg from the Spring Banner Dies and some Nuvo Drops for a finishing touch. 

I made one in purple and one in blue for each of my kiddos. They are a bit older but still do enjoy a visit from the bunny :) I tucked in a couple of fun size candy bars into each envelope pocket.

Jaded Blossom's March Challenge!

Hi everyone!!

I hope you are all having a fabulous Sunday!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom Blog!!

For this month's challenge, we would like to see your projects that incorporate those awesome Jaded Blossom products and this color palette:

Here is a look at what I created:

I cut some gray cardstock with the Card Mat Dies and then used the stars from the Halloween Scenic Dies to create my starry background and backed it with some yellow cardstock. I stamped that adorable owl from the Cozy Owl stamp set, colored it with my Copics and used the Octagon Dies to cut it out. I placed it on my starry background piece and layered a piece of blue patterned paper at the bottom half with a greeting from the Forest Friends (revamped). I added some crochet thread and a star button from the Baby Dies and popped it all up onto my card base with some foam tape. I completed my card by adding a few more stars by my greeting. I think it turned out so cute!!

Happy Birthday with Card Sketch 106

Today I'm sharing a project that I made for the Cut Club Blog using a fun card sketch that can be found in the February Bundle. 

I used the Card Sketch 106 for my card base as well as the layers. I added a fun kitty to my card by using the Chunky Cat with Present and Party Hat file. I stamped my greeting by using the So Many Birthdays 4 stamp set from Jaded Blossom. I finished my card by adding some fun doodles with a black sharpie pen and some enamel and Nuvo drops.

Bunny Kisses

Hi everyone!

It's my day to take over the SVG Cutting Files blog and I made a fun little Easter card to share with you today.

I used the Bunny In Grass Peek Out Slider Card for my project today. I used some cloud scrap paper that I had in my stash for my card background and some bright green patterned paper from Doodlebug for my grass pocket layer. I wrapped some satin ribbon around my card and tied a fun little bow. I stamped my greeting from the Easter Basket Fun stamp set from Jaded Blossom and used the Jaded Blossom's Label Shape Dies to cut it out. I added a couple of little enamel hearts and popped the greeting up with some foam tape. 

How fun!!! The little bunny comes right out as a separate little element and a fun surprise. (The carrot is from the Spring Banner Dies from Jaded Blossom.)
