Made In Minutes Monday with MCT

Happy Happy Monday!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Today over at the My Creative Time blog, it is

Made In Minutes!

This is the day where we create a project and try to keep it under 20 minutes. 

I decided to make a CAS card

I have a tendency to "collect" washi tape so for this card, I decided to actually use some of it haha! I cut the "Happy" from the Happy Thoughts set directly from my white layer. I then adhered it on top of the pink layer so that it showed through. I then stamped the "You Are My", also from the Happy Thoughts set, in pink ink. That cute little heart came from the 4x4 Journal Die + More set. I added strips of washi and a few sequins and voila! Clean and simple card that only took me 13 minutes to make :)

My Creative Time's 33rd Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to the My Creative Time 33rd Release Blog Hop!!!

For my project, I decided to make a little thank you card and gift:

I made a portrait style A2 card. I added some little scallops underneath my patterned paper by using a edge from the Fun Stitched Edges. I used the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die to create the white layer of my card. For my "tree branch", I used one of the stems from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies. I cut it out twice, once in kraft and once in green and then just simply snipped off the green leaves and adhered them over the kraft leaves. I cut my beehive out of the NEW Bees & Beehive Dies and hung it from the branch. I added that cute little flight pattern from the Live, Love, Laugh & Be Happy stamp set. My sentiment came from the NEW Bee Happy set and of course that cute little bumblebee from the Bee Happy set as well as the die from the Bees & Beehive Dies set. I finished off my card by adding some faux stitching with my gel pen, some enamel dots to his antennae and some glitter to his wings. 

For my gift, I decorated a tube from Papertrey Ink by adding some yellow and black chocolate candies in layers to resemble a bee's colors.

Of course I had to add some of those cute little bees from the Bee Happy and Bees & Beehive Dies to the front of my tube.

I love those little bees and there are so many great sentiments on the Bee Happy set that coordinate perfectly!!

Day 4 of the MCT June Sneak Peeks!

Today we are giving you a sneak peek at 3 new sets called
Loyal Friends, Live Love Bark & My Kids Have Paws

For my card, I am showcasing the Loyal Friends and the Live Love Bark sets.
Get ready for some cuteness overload with these sets!!

I decided to make a shaped card using the Bunch Of Fun Circle die set. Isn't that little doggy from the NEW Loyal Friends set adorable??? The little bones are also from the NEW Loyal Friends set. I stamped my greeting from the NEW Live Love Bark set onto a banner from the Vintage Stitched Label dies set and popped it up with some foam adhesive. I topped off my card with that adorable little Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow and added a little gem to the center. She looks like she is going to have a ter-ruffic day with all those treats!!

Here is the called that I created that incorporates something from all three sets!!

I decided to make a square card. I used the NEW Stitched Honeycomb Dies and then placed some of those adorable little bees from the NEW Bee Happy set and the NEW Stitched Bees & Beehive Dies onto my honeycomb. My greeting also came from the NEW Bee Happy set. Aren't they cute???

Day 2 of the MCT June Sneak Peeks!

Hi crafty friends and happy Tuesday!

Are you guys ready for day 2 of the sneak peeks from My Creative Time's June release?

Today we are giving you sneak peeks of 2 new sets called

Surf's Up and Sit Back & Relax.

I made two cards for today's sneaks. The first card uses elements from the new set titled

Sit Back & Relax

For my card, I used the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die to create my card base. I cut out a bracket from the Stitched Bracket Dies to place along the top of my card and adhered a bow from the Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow Die. My flip flops came from the ever so cute set called Sit Back & Relax. I added a heart from the 4x4 Journal Die + More set to each of my flip flop straps. For my greeting, I used the banner from the Vintage Stitched Label Dies and stamped that fun sentiment from the Sit Back & Relax set onto it and added a couple of the small hearts from the 4x4 Journal Die + More set. I finished off my card by adding some sequins randomly onto my card as well as some glossy accents to all of the hearts.

For my second card, I decided to make a side step card:

I used the Make A Splash Die for the waves and one of the edges from the Fun Stitched Edges set to create the sand. How cute is that beach ball, surfboard and shell from the NEW Surf's Up set? For my sun, I used the sun stamp from the Fun Pockets set and just masked off the face, stamped it and then adhered it to the corner with some foam adhesive. I then used the Stitched Cartoon Cloud dies for those fun clouds. My sentiment also came from the NEW Surf's Up set, I heat embossed it with some white embossing powder.
