Happy Wednesday my crafty friends! I hope you are all having a great day! I am so happy that today I get to post my very first challenge for the Joy's Life DT. The challenge this week was to Make It Messy---Use your Inks, Paints, Smooch, Etc.
What's messier than a cute little piggy? I decided to make a cute little gift bag filled with some Hersey Hugs and use Joy's Life Barnyard Puns stamps for my greeting. For my messy technique, I inked up my pig with some pink ink. I also tore white paper strips and painted them brown with some acrylic paint and then lightly sanded the paint a little in certain spots to give it more texture. Here is a close-up of my "mud":
I also used some Perfect Pearls Mist to spray my clouds to give them a little shimmer. Here is a close-up of that:
I am so happy with this little bag and think it turned out adorable. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation. Don't forget to stop by the Joy's Life DT page to see more inspiration and to read about the challenge. I hope you have a great crafty day!
