My Creative Time's Inspiration Wednesday

Happy Wednesday crafty friends!

It is Inspiration Wednesday over at the My Creative Time blog!
This is the day where we create a project based on something that has inspired us.

For my card today, I found this adorable card on pinterest and knew I wanted to create something similar.
You can see the card I used for my inspiration by clicking HERE.

Here is the card that I created based on that pretty card:

I created those banners by simply trimming up some scrap pieces of patterned paper and notching out the ends. After they were adhered, I created that fun white scallop by using one of the scallops in the Fun Stitched Edges dies. I wrapped some linen thread around it and then adhered it to my card. I added some adorable flowers from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies and just added an enamel dot to the flower centers. For my greeting, I used the "Hello" from the Speech Bubble Sentiments set and then placed a few more enamel dots onto the front of my card. I am so pleased with how it turned out!

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look at my latest creation!
For more Inspiration Wednesday, be sure to check out the My Creative Time blog to see the fabulous creations my DT sisters came up with :)

I hope you have a fabulous crafty day!

I like how similar but very different your card is. I really like the kraft background with those pretty papers. The scalloped edges do make some pretty strips...I like the zig-zag one too. Great job on your version of this pretty card.
