Fa La La La La

 Hi crafty friends!

I hope you are having a fabulous day!

The theme this week on the La-La Land Crafts Blog for Team Friday is
Black, White & One Other Color.

I created a card that features one of the adorable images from the
along with some Dies from La-La Land Crafts.

Here is a look at my card:

I created my white cardbase and then layered a piece of white glitter cardstock on top that I cut out using the largest rectangle in the Scalloped Rectangles Die. I trimmed a piece of pink patterned paper from the Christmas Hodgepodge Paper Pack to fit inside. I then cut another rectangle, also from white glitter cardstock and layered that on top before starting on my focal point scene. To create my scene, I trimmed down a piece of white cardstock and added some snowy hills by using the Double Stitched Ovals Die. I used the Stitched Trees Die to cut out some white glitter trees and placed them onto my card front. Next, I stamped my greeting and that adorable mouse from the A Caroling We Go Clear Stamp set. I colored him with my Copic Markers, fussy cut him out and placed him front and center onto my card. I completed the look with some snowflake sequins and some white Nuvo drops. It is so pretty with all the sparkle!

No Tricks...Just Treats!

 Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!
I hope your day is wonderful so far!

I have a fun little project to share with you that I made for one of my crafty friends.

I thought it would be fun to create a little candy box, and this one from SVGCuttingFiles was perfect! It reminds me of the plastic ones that kids sometimes carry on Halloween night. I created my little box and finished it with a fun little greeting, tied to the vine with some twine.

Instead of a traditional card, I decided to make a little Memory Dex style card to send with her goody bag. I used my Memory Dex dies and cut out some fun paper from Doodlebug to create my little background scene. Next I added a fun little ghost and some stars, also from Doodlebug. I finished my card with a glittery bat, some glow in the dark Nuvo drops and a little crochet thread bow on that adorable ghost.

I think this turned out so cute!

I will be entering my projects into the following challenges:

Bad Witch??

 Hi everyone!

I hope your day is off to a great start!

Today I am sharing a fun Halloween themed card that I created using an adorable image from

I just love this image and knew I needed it in my life to make a fun Halloween card. I started by creating my cardbase from some purple cardstock and layering a piece of black patterned paper on top. I added a small strip of gold glitter cardstock to hide the seam between the cardstock and patterned paper. I printed out the Witchy Shoes image onto a piece of white digital paper and colored them with my Copic markers. I used a die from MFT to cut out my image and then I lightly went around the perimeter of my image and die cut with a yellow Copic marker to illuminate the shoes. I added my sentiment and some purple sheer ribbon before popping up my image panel with some foam tape. I added some Honey Gold Nuvo Drops to the shoe buckles to complete my card. I absolutely love how this turned out!

Grateful For You

Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having a fabulous day!

The theme this week on the La-La Land Crafts Blog for Team Friday is
Fall

I created a card that features an adorable image called
Coffee Break Marci, along with some Dies and Patterned Paper from La-La Land Crafts.

Here is a look at my card:

To create my card, I started by making an A2 card base from some green cardstock. I used the Scalloped Rectangles Die to cut out my cream rectangle and layered a strip of brown cardstock on top. I wrapped some twine around and adhered the panel to my green cardbase. I used the Scalloped Rectangles Die again to cut out a piece of green patterned paper from the Christmas Hodgepodge Paper Pack and popped it up onto my card front with some foam tape. I colored the Coffee Break Marci with my Copic markers, fussy cut her out and popped her up onto my card with more foam tape.  I used a sentiment from the Marci with Pen stamp set, cut it out using a rectangle that is included in the Horizontal Pocket Die and tucked it behind Marci. I cut some leaves from some gold glitter paper using the Filigree Leaves Die and adhered them to the top with a twine bow.  I completed my card with some gold and brown Nuvo drops.

Super simple but I think it's so sweet.

Merry and Bright Slimline Card

 Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having an amazing day so far!
I was able to get a really simple but adorable (at least I think so) card made
and I wanted to share it with you.

I told ya it was simple lol!
I started by creating my Slimline card base from some Cilantro cardstock. I then used a Zig Zag Slimline Die from Kat Scrappiness and cut it from some white cardstock. I cut a piece of cardstock that would fit inside the stitched lines on the Zig Zag piece and inked along the edges with some Broken China Distress Ink. I used the Christmas Lights die from MFT to cut some fun non-traditional lights & stamped my greeting using the Merry & Bright stamp set (also from MFT). I cut off the edges of the lights that were hanging off my panel before adhering it to my card. Easy Peasy but I love how it turned out!!

 Hi everyone!

I hope your day is off to a great start!
I have a Halloween card to share with you today that uses a really fun image from Digi Doodle Studios called Sabrina's Moon.

I thought it would be fun to make a Center Step Card since I haven't made one in a while. I used to really love making this style of card and I think it really brings the focus to your image. I cut my purple layering pieces and did a bit of inking with some Black Soot Distress Ink and a Cloud Stencil to create the look of a sky. I colored Sabrina's Moon with my Copics and cut her out using my Scan N Cut. I popped her up onto my card with some foam tape and added a little sparkle by adding some Nuvo Drops and Glossy Accents to the stars and the moon. I added some shimmery ribbon along with my sentiment & completed my card by adding a spider web border.

Here is a look at the project that I created to share with you today:

I love Fall and everything that comes along with it, especially pumpkin spice everything! Yup! I'm one of those people obsessed with Pumpkin Spice. LOL! I wanted to make a little treat bag and fill it with some pumpkin flavored candy to give to someone who is just as crazy as I am when it comes to pumpkin everything. Cricut to the rescue! I started by creating my bag from Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2 using some Kraft cardstock and inking along all the edges. Next, I cut out some Stacked Pumpkins that I found in Design Space, popped them up onto my bag with foam tape and added a strip of grass from Sports Mania along the bottom. I added some candy to the inside, tied my bag shut with some ribbon and then added a little tag that I attached to the ribbon with some hemp twine. I completed my bag with some little rhinestones and some shimmer on the pumpkin vine and leaf.

New Release!
I created a card to share with you that features one of the adorable images that was released this past month called Bookworm Marci.

Here is a look at my card:

My daughter is a huge bookworm so I thought it would be a neat idea to create a little card that doubled as a gift card holder to give to her. I started by creating my card base from some red cardstock. I used the Scalloped Rectangles Die to cut a piece of white cardstock and then layered a piece of polka dotted paper from the Hello Life Paper Pack on top. I popped that up onto my card base with some foam tape for a bit of dimension. Next I made the little pocket to hold the gift card. I cut out some striped paper from the Hello Life Paper Pack using the Horizontal Pocket Die. I added one of the sentiments from the Bookworm Marci  to the top of a Double Stitched Ovals Die and then adhered it to the back of my pocket to create a taller backing. I added some ribbon around my pocket before adhering it to my card base. I colored Bookworm Marci with my Copic Markers and then popped her up onto my card with more foam tape to complete my card.

Just A Note with La-La Land Crafts

 Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having a fabulous day!
I'm so excited to announce that I have been asked to be a guest designer for
La-La Land Crafts for the next two months!
I love the adorable stamps, especially Marci, and can't wait to color up some images and share with you my creations that feature some of the awesome products from La-La Land Crafts!

The theme this week on the La-La Land Crafts Blog for Team Friday is
New Release!
I created a card to share with you that features one of the adorable images that was released this past month called Marci With Pen.

Here is a look at my card:

Isn't she cute with her little note pad and pen? I colored Marci with Pen with my Copic markers and then cut her out using my Scan N Cut machine. I paper pieced her headband as well as the heart on her shirt by using some paper from the Hello Life Paper Pack. Once I had that done, I set her aside so I could build my card base. I created my card base from some light tan cardstock and made it a tad bit smaller than an A2 card. My card measures 4" by 5.5". I used the Scallop Rectangles Die and cut out a piece of pink patterned paper from the Hello Life Paper Pack. I added that to my card and then popped up an oval that I cut out from white cardstock using the Double Stitched Ovals Die with foam tape. I popped up my colored image with more foam tape onto my oval for more dimension. I cut out my sentiment using a die from the Horizontal Pocket Die, added some crochet thread to each end and popped it up with more foam tape. I used the Staircase Die to create a little flower for her headband and added a little pearl to the center for the finishing touch.

Copic Markers Used:
